I just decided to go to PA School! So glad I found your channel!💕 wish you the best on your journey!
Youre sucha gem! Thank you so much for your help 🙏 we are lucky to have you in our PA community 😊
Yes! I really love this video. Especially the last point, grades don't matter, what matters is the PA-C
These are great points Dani! I definitely wish that I could go back to myself before PA school and give some tips.
This video was so encouraging. 👏🏾☺️ im nervous for PA school but this video gave me a more balanced view. Love your videos! I’m legit binge watching lol
It is so great to hear the last point because I am not a great test taker. I stress before, during, and after exams. If I don't do well I get discouraged but I know my patient contact will be better. I'm hoping to get into PA school this fall or maybe the beginning of 2022. I'm finishing up all my CASPA information. I'm waiting on letters of recommendation from doctors and PAs. My personal statement is just about done. Thank you for your videos.
JUST FOUND UR KZread CHANNEL AND IM SO HAPPY I DID!! THANK U FOR ALL THIS INFO
this is VERY helpful because i have a strong passion to be a Surgical PA and i was very nervous about the money part and the 28 months you have to learn EVERYTHING they teach at Med school and Nursing school. but you really helped me see that i CAN do it! so thank you!
So positive, Thank You for the video!!!
Real talk in the food prep. Saves so much time.
Aw I loved this video!! Thanks!!
learned so much cant wait to apply for school and use these tips
#4 so important! Great vid
This is some good notes thanks!
Some really good tips in here. Subscribed!
Wow. You just made me feel at ease! I'm in my junior year and already looking into CASPA so I can work on my applications! Unfortunately I have to retake my A&P since I took it 10 years ago. But I just found out some schools like in Texas don't care about how long ago the classes were taken. However, as I'm waiting to get into a program, I'll take A&P again just in case I don't get in the programs in Texas! Do you or does anyone else know if there are other schools that don't have a "time" restriction for the prerequisites??
Thanks for that last advice
Just got accepted to a program! Applied to 10 schools, 5 interviews total so far. 1 waitlist 1 acceptance and the other ones I don't hear back from until November. Another interview in November! Just taking it all day by day. Thanks for the video!

well said, especially towards the end
One of the best didactic advice videos.
with the meal prep I say also think using factor they send you food to reheat so think about that and other companies like this as well if your in cooking
The first two minutes ! I was hooked . So true !! “I was not prepared to feed myself” “If you are not studying you feel like time is wasted” I finished my first quarter 😩

Wow thanks for your explanation. It was so fun to listen and it was clear. However, I still doubt myself whether I can do this course or not. What if I messed up and feel lazy to study😔
Hey Dani, I am considering becoming a PA. It is my dream job. What did you major in when you went to college?
Thank u so much for such a nice video and plz keep more videos about medical courses plz

I just came back from my exam and i really needed this ,thank you !!!!
I have a random question, what class was the toughest while you were in undergrad?
Do they teach that Lyme Disease is not a chronic illness at your PA school?
I love your videos😍
Are you allowed to record in class lectures during didactics to replay them while studying at home?
Dani, good eve from Dubai ... I have a question please .. Do I have to be a graduate from any related medical schools, well, I had studied chemistry, physics, and biology in my high school with high grades on, as well as I have a bachelor degree in historic preservation which I had studied chemistry with as well. From your experience, do you think I am eligible to apply for the PA program ? Thanks for your kind reply
How you study for yor exams
Grades do matter. Several of the residency/fellowship programs I applied to had a min GPA of 3.0, and having a strong GPA is definitely viewed favorably for many of the adcoms (at least I've been told this). It would make sense to favor strong GPAs, because the majority of residency programs lump you in with physician residency programs, who undoubtedly value book smarts and textbook knowledge.
SAW YOU ON TIK TOK!!

I'm currently taking BS in Biology.. and I want to go PA School.. But I'm not sure if there's really "the best major" to take 😵 As long as you know the pre-requisites to get into PA School.

I’m 20 & JUST decided I wanted to be a PA Im not in college so I understand I have start all over & get a bachelors degree first since I’m just figuring out my career path. I’m currently CNA & in the process of getting my MA certification bc I feel as if that would be better for clinical hours in the long run & also having a stable job during the whole becoming a PA journey. do you think I should stick to being a CNA while going through college & PA school or get my MA certification (1 year) & then apply to a college to get my bachelors degree & do PA school?
@Ml_-ir7eg
2 жыл бұрын
I’m not in PA school yet but my cousin is a PA professor at an elite school. I had asked her this question and she said that either is fine, but CNA is great because it is so patient focused.
@yasmine4464

@@Ml_-ir7eg okay thanks I figured staying a CNA would be the best choice since I’ve been one for a year so I have more experience & wouldn’t have to start over as MA to get PCE whenever I do start PA school

Not everyone thinks like that. I’m choosing PA school over medical school and I have great stats/application. I’m not even applying to medical school. The main motivation over medical school is to finish quicker to be able to start a family and the ability to switch specialities if I want.
