I’m majoring in molecular biology and genetic and bioengineering in a foreign country (I’m not american) but I have been thinking about maybe applying for med school in USA. The thing is that in my country there is no such thing as pre med. You just get into med school and study. I didn’t want to go to med school in my country but as I started majoring in molecular biology I realized that I do want to go to medical school. So like, I’m so lost as to how a foreigner applies for schools in the US and how the process just works.
Amazing information that will help so many people who are getting into the field! Will be sharing this to everyone ☺️

Fellowship has been so busy but when things calm done I hope to make a video on my daily routine one day! ☺️
Listen to Chris. Whatever he said is absolutely correct. I am first generation doctor as well. My other relatives are into maths and the arts. Learning in college is totally different from med school. To this day (I am an EM Physician), I still wonder how I managed to pass. I am an excellent crammer. That worked well for passing exams but not for being a good doctor. Try to learn for your future in the profession…and not just for exams. If you learn a topic well, you passing the exams will follow.
Well done❤❤
Thank you so much for the video !!! I will be sharing this with all my friends who are going in the field 😄

Dr. Chris first and foremost congrats on matching fellowship and on 1 million! I’m starting OMS-1 in 5 weeks and this (along with many other IG videos you posted) is super helpful, thank you! I also will be in this 3-year accelerated primary care pathway b/c I want to go into FM, what motivated you to go into FM? Do you find it rewarding?

Thank you Edwin and congrats on starting medical school. What I love about family medicine is being able to treat patients of all ages and provide care across various medical needs. I always knew I wanted to do FM, and during my medical journey I fell in love with primary care sports medicine. I 100% find my job rewarding :) don’t give up!! You’ll become a great doctor.
