5 things I HATE about this RV and what I'm doing about them. Jayco Eagle

Since buying our Jayco Eagle 312BHOK earlier this year we've traveled many miles through many states and spent many many nights over several months on the RV. Overall we LOVE this travel trailer , but there are a few things that drive us crazy. So here's 5 things we don't like about it.

We also have a 312bhok. When ours gives the error after towing (it's a safety issue, they said). if we go inside and hit a button to wake up the inside panel, the motors work again.

@The Brodie Bunch next time you tow, give it a try and see if it works for you. It's the same thing if you're hooked up to the truck and lock the truck doors with the key fob, it'll cut off the interior lights.

I’d take that fridge before I take the 12 volt fridge. The 12 volt system with the lithium batteries suck at boon docking. Battery only uses 25% then shuts down so damage to the batteries don’t occur. That’s from avenue series.

Love the rv series. we’re full timers and so it’s in our wheelhouse. recpro makes a new 12 volt dc fridge now that’s super nice it’s just a plug and play and it’s in that 1k price range also furrion makes one now too but 1-1500 is about what they go for but you already have solar so it would be a no brainer. and they are barney style simple to put in. they are not energy hogs either. on the jay command most new campers come with some new control everything system and all are buggy. there’s no easy way to change to another one that i’m aware of. keystone and grand design have one and we hear a lot of complaints from everyone.

Just an FYI on your communication error (Disabled Function) when using the Jaycommand app on your phone. We have the Jayco HT 284BHOK and get around the error by going to the controller inside the RV and use any of the functions (Slide, AC, etc..). We also get this error when the trailer is connected to the truck through the 7-pin wire connector. Disconnected the 7-pin wire from the truck and everything works on the Jaycommand app.

Started watching. Then thought, I wonder how the baby likes traveling now compared to the earlier videos. And then I got my answer, hope she’s feeling better. Have you looked at a 12 volt fridge for the camper? I know they are in the new ones like mine, but I have the same kind you all have just smaller. But they are adding 12 volt fridges that can cool while you’re traveling down the road. They take up less space because they don’t have all the propane parts in them, and they are much bigger inside as well.

How do you keep you dog safe in the bed of your truck? How do you keep him cool/warm?

I setup an A/C. unit in the bed while we were on the road. Here's a video for context. kzread.info/dash/bejne/k4iYx9uxYKvbm5M.html. Wasn't the "best" solution. But it worked ok..
