If that is all you could find wrong with it, surely it's a great car! Some of those things are also a non-issue. Non-fancy doors? surely this is a negative of every other car on the road? Why mention it? Gear selector in the wrong place? I think you're too short. I can reach it just fine but then again, my seat is all the way back (I'm 6ft exactly). I love the steering, feel great to me? Power is fine too, if you have a car that is too powerful (the GT still has way too much) you actually can't enjoy it properly. It also bodes well for the engine longevity if it can handle 600 and it's only pushing 460. Visibility is a little cramped, but that's why I like it. It feels like you're in a fighter jet. And that long nose? I think it's perfect. Each to their own I guess...

The "special" bit on this car is its looks. It's the first Merc in a loooong time that looks iconic, it looks far better than the SLS and yes, way better than the SLR as well. It doesn't need the silly doors with that pretty face!

Have you reviewed the GT S?? Would love to hear how you compare the two from a power POV and also if there are any seating/cosmetic upgrades/adjustments.

I have a GTs and I am 6'3". I don't have any issue whatsoever with the gear selector, but I do hear it's a common gripe. I find visibility very, very good as well (once you get your personalized seating position right). I totally agree that it takes WAY too much throttle to activate reverse- it can be really scary in tight quarters. Lastly, the hood is LOOONG with makes every parking barrier experience and adventure.

Hey Parker I have a question about the Lamborghini huracan. Compared to Audi R8 is the huracan is strada mode as comfortable or is it rough. I need to know before checking if I want one

300 SL Gullwing is one of the prettiest designs in automotive history imo. For it's time; truly revolutionary. Mercedes Benz; starting a revolution before one even begins! I love that interior in that AMG GT.

0-60 under 3 seconds? I suppose you meant under 5 seconds for the stock AMG GT? Or for this tuned one you meant under 4 seconds? :D

I think you need to do a review of the GT Black Series, the Track Series and new GT2 all marketable and for sale.

The whole point of buying a supercar or a really fast sports car is you sit really low and feel like your in a race car. If you want cars with good visability go buy a sedan or SUV. I recently drove a 570s. The visibility is as good as people say it is. Supercars all have a visibility problem

Looking for an honest and real opinion. Debating between an Audi R8 and an AMG GT (any variant of the AMG GT models). What do you think is a better fit in the 100-120k price range. I’m looking at driving this in town mostly, and looking for something beastly yet comfortable to drive when not gunning it.

i used to daily a 2017 AMG GTS, it's not the best daily, comfort isn't really the best,but then again i'm 6"5 so maybe that's why 😂

I think the seating position might be one of the best aspects of the Amg GT, no offense ^^...

first of all, under 3s to 60? as a gt this is somewhere around 3.8s... and secondly, why is a mclaren 540c/570s not comparable? if you take a amg gt s and a 540c, i think they are pretty comparable. same price and more or less same power and engine size

I don't think the comment about power is really jutified. I mean out of the box this thing runs 11.4 @ 126mph, that's faster than a Jaguar ftype SVR(11.5 @ 122) , the gts is really overlooked when it comes to its performance but it really hangs in there with more powerful cara

Mercedes-Benz should have made an AWD option. :-P

Try to open the car in a cramped car parking with gullwings....here was every day practicality over show effects. The new 63s models have 604 HP with the same 4l engine, so there will be a more powerful GT version in the next time.

I think that's why they built the GT R and GT Pro- R, the Black Series, the Track series and now the GT 2 are all for sale. Benz has a market plan as well.
