All 5 points make a lot sense to me, you can also add the puddle lights for the back doors they don’t have the hellcat hologram 🐱 like the front doors do.

Yeah there’s a bunch of little things like that. Some have been fixed on newer models but not all. Atleast we get the good engine lol

Definitely agree on the fog lighting and interior lighting! mixed on the vid camera with the adaptive cruise. i like the tech but takes away from the ominous muscle car look from the front grill. I also hate having unused buttons on the console or steering wheel so that one's a toss up for me.

I did watch the whole video....He's right, it was some minor things that Dodge could do better. But I do find it ironic, before the video started there was a KZread ad for St' Jude hospital, featuring an 8-yr old girl with cancer.

First thing I did on my wife's durango was replace the headlight bulbs with SL1s and led interior bulbs. Carbon fiber over the whole center dash would be an eye sore tbh but that's just my own opinion. Badges, mirrors, and roof would be nice black if they offered a blacktop package like they do for lesser trims.

They offer a black gloss roof and a Matt black one.. but for the price I could get it way cheaper myself. The led bulbs is something I am looking into now before winter gets here.

The design is incredible, the sound is great. Engine and power off the charts. If dodge puts just some effort into making the interior slightly more luxury … the car is unmatched in my eyes! I just bought my 2020 Scat … love it but almost the same interior as this HellCat

The Charger (and mine was half the money you spent, eeek) I just got into had the Blacktop Edition. Was that an option at the time for the Hellcat? I continue to be amazed at the money that gets spent for the higher tiers of Dodge Vehicles that don't include far more fundamental "options" (I'd put blacked out badging in this category).

I'll pile onto the backup camera - thought the shoddy resolution isn't my nitpick. My hatred of it comes WHEN IT IS WET OUTSIDE. I've finally started making a scheduling masking of Rain-X on the backup camera because the BLOBS that appear on it are absolutely mind-numbing and make reverse parking next to impossible. That same mystified feeling about the interior continues into the backup camera arena. I can't POSSIBLY be the only person that hates this/has experienced it. It just happened on day 6 of this new Charger - EXACTLY the same design flaw.

Thanks for the support. It took me 10 weeks to get my Hellcat. I heard something recently about the plant closing back down because of COVID. It cause a lot of delays. I saw on the forums that some that had expected delivery 1st week of August now it is Mid September. With the Chip shortage and COVID build times are all unpredictable. Usually it should only take 4-5 weeks.

Lack of frontward-facing safety features: That's ALL about the grill and frontward dedication to 1.) Desired cooling (which I kind of call bullshit to - all of these cars run HOT and a spot to tuck in the sensor/camera wouldn't kill as much as many think methinks) and 2.) The whiny bitching that would happen from those who wonder "what the fuck is THAT" on the camera/sensor system that has to be in place. Go check out some of how invasive other makers have made this system and now - imagine it on the front of what is likely one of the most-kickassenist American Muscle Cars of all time? The bitching apparently outweighs the desire to have it put in! Haw!

You had to get the Drivers Convenience Group to get the better headlights, it was a $795 option , totally happy with them. I watched a bunch of videos before I bought me car

I am often mystified from the interior accents and Dodge's inattention to it - until I realize that - it hasn't reached the attention-span part of the marketing and sales departments at Dodge. Mercedes, Cadillac, etc, they all understand that the inside of the the vehicle is often a draw for an audience where - this clear fact is simply not a recognized factor for the sales and marketing teams at Dodge. Is that THEIR fault? I sometimes wonder because - here we are - buying the stuff and then modifying it after it comes home so - why WOULD they put their time and effort to it. I'll have to look at my interior again (Blacktop'd) and see what got swapped out. What I've also realized as I've stepped into my second Charger was that - I really DO like the STUPID-SIMPLE configuration of the knobs and buttons. I have been in rentals for work where not only is it sideways trying to figure it out - you have to often wonder - what where they thinking when they "did that" for far too many things.

The problem is you get what you pay for. Yeah it doesn’t have stuff other cars in the price range do. But those cars aren’t giving you super car power either. You want cheap power, cuts have to made somewhere.

I'm kind of curious on the whole "carbon fiber interior/accents" part of your conversation with the salesman - mostly because when you said, "So when I get the car, all this (referring to the front instrument cluster) is gon' be Carbon, right?" And the dude/gal says "yup!" I smell a whole buncha' crow being eaten upon delivery AND - some sizeable discount on undelivered promises/some how making it right that gets you something for your trouble. I know if I'd have heard that AND spent as much as you did on this vehicle - I'd have ridden that complaint point HARD. I mean - WHY NOT? When is the NEXT TIME you'll ever buy a Dodge Hellcat Widebody for the first time again?

Never buy the up grade interior for these cars or add ons. Get these cars for the look and the performance in my opinion You can wrap your seats and install your own carbon fiber for waaay less then the mark up. I went with the base model Hell cat Challenger. Which cost 20k less then what most people pay out the door. I paid 57k in 2020 for mine brand new 3 miles on it. I can up grade interior and do hp and suspension mods and still be under what most paid.

That’s a true statement, I have only added the carbon fiber because it came with the Suede headliner… which for me it gave the car a better look.

a honda doesn't come with 700+ horsepower though, you're simply paying for the power, get an AMG if you want the best of both worlds

Nice video. They could do better but your obviously buying the engine and performance of it. My main issue with mine is now forward parking sensors especially with how the front bumper lip is it would be nice to have. I have the scat so all the other stuff I have brake assist, active cruise. Can’t believe the cat doesn’t even have the option for it

I don t get it... Scat Pack and other Chargers get the Tec Features Like forward Collision Warner ..Speed Limit Warner and so on.. But they dont Offer this in a Hellcat RedEye Charger... Are you Serious. How can this be.. Why not the Hellcat.

It has to do with the front of the cars. A lot of those sensors are in the front of Scatpacks. Hellcats have more cooling in the front so no place for a lot of those features. From what I’m told

Lol… I have a 2021 Hellcat Redeye Widebody. My 2016 Scatpack I upgraded from did have more safety features. I don’t think anyone can get it perfect. Great content keep up the good work . 💪🏽
