About your MDS system. You can temporarily delete it with the select shift on your steering wheel. Press the minus gear button on your steering wheel when you’re driving and then press it up till it reads eight by the shift indicator on your odometer display. It will keep the truck from going above whatever gear you have it selected at and it will also temporary disable the MDS so it will not activate while the select shift is engaged. Works on all of the Rams I have driven with the eight speed automatic.

Yeah I’ve done it to mine but don’t like it so I’ll just tune it to get rid of it entirely.

You should probably service the Rams 1500 transmission.

My 2014 has both apple car play and android auto.

My 2016 sport is the same. Heated seats are terrible and the transmission loves to buck and kick. Feels like someone rear ending you lol

Yeah I read that most of the 8 speeds do that when their cold. Wished the seats were leather so maybe they’d get hot lol

@@johnsn10 mine doesn’t do it a whole lot when it’s warm. It’s very rare it does it, but it does it a lot when it’s cold.

If you think the 8-speed in the Rams are bad don't drive a Ford 10-speed😂
