Cool video .This is why people should learn how to do the work themselves.I’m not a mechanic but I definitely can swap out an engine or trans myself .Saves you a shitload of money .Windows squeaks add silicon spray done 👍👍👍

I love the whole video, but with my brightness turned all the way up, I still find the whole video to be dark, idk if it's a filter, but just though I'd leave this comment here, so you can hopefully look into it, other than that, great video man! Love what you did with your Q50!

Sometimes you can lubricate the track that the window rides in and that helps with friction. Other times you just need to replace the tired window motor.

Heater hose connector is as brittle as chocolate after a while😊 and oh change you radiator, it’s plastic, it will give up😂

2016 q50 3.0t here I felt you on the whole windows being slow ass hell My driver window got stuck like yours before window tint. So I believe there’s a defect in the window motors.

Use silicone spray ….. I bought it from autozone specific for windows and it helped A LOT…. Spray it in the tracks and around the window sills

I have tints and I don’t experience that. Because at the dealer they can lubricate the rubber seals in the windows ad sunroof and then your good. Otherwise that sticking will burn the window motor out.

It will still do it about 3weeks after getting it greased. I had mine greased at dealership one day(years ago) and it was nice for about a month, maybe. Then all problems came back, slow roll up, and squeaking when wet

Just test drives it, and test the manual mode to see if all gears are shifting smooth…ask for history report too

I had the first issue that you mentioned and the problem was my valve body

Yeah my trunk is the same way.

I have the 2014 and tints I think your tints are to thick, also the Q50 does not do well in hot temps in long term which is wild.

Do you have the sport version? I just bought a 2015 Q50 3.7 Premium Last week 🙏

I have a 3017 3.0t at 50k miles and I’m having that issue where it lags and hesitates to shift / shifts at high rpm’s

I have thought about it…maybe later on I’ll try a turbo setup when I have money to build or swap the trans but rn I’m just trying to keep it as a clean/reliable daily…..stock VQ transmission can’t handle more than 400 tq before failing….definitely need to get a GTR at some point as well though

So besides the valve body issue, you knew what the car had before you bought it. If you “hated” all those things why did you buy it?

Clearly you didn’t watch the entire video … I specifically said I used the word “dislike” and NOT “hate” bc that’s a strong word…..not everything is perfect …. All cars have their cons but I bought it knowing I’ll be able to deal and fix these issues later on. That’s why I bought the car 😁….this video is mainly for people to know what issues to expect when buying the Q50

Valvebody what? Trash?? LOL. Treat your G like a Z and you'll end up with "trash", everywhere across the car. 6 years with the car, G is 9 years old, seen hell in Canadian Winters its whole life, 113k miles / 183k km. Stock valvebody. If you understand line pressure, shift points and partial/full torque converter locking, your 7AT will last. If you don't... "have money saved on the side, be prepared for that" as this guy says. 😅

who said anything about a G? This is a common issue on the 3.7 Q50 😂😂😂…….it’s a KNOWN common issue on the 3.7 Q50. Just simply type into google “q50 3.7 valve body issue” and everything comes up.

Known issue my @ss, are you even aware of how many Nissan/Infiniti models have had this exact valvebody in their trans since 2008? What, the design flaw goes back to 2008 somehow and only the 2014-15 Q's have been affected?? Your research is highly suspect. 🙃 I've been driving VQ's since 2010.
