I'm 30. I started going to church at the age of 20. I've been praying for my future husband for the past 9 years. It's been a very long journey. Thank you for your words of comfort. They're helping me greatly. I've been keeping journal entries for the past six years for God. And it helps me tremendously. I subscribed.

Wow! Thank you for this. Standing on Christ as your foundation in the waiting season is key. When people ask me if I'm worried, or make comments that all the good ones are taken, I always remind them that GOD IS FAITHFUL! Thanks again girl :)

I’m so happy I found your channel! My single journey just hit 6 years. Yesterday I was very sad, because of the idea what if it needs to be 7, or 8 because God uses those numbers. How could my love story begin at year 6, the number of man? I often feel like Abraham when God assures him of reward but his response is, but you’ve given me nothing. The longing for children is intense especially watching friends have multiple children. I feel stuck while they move forward. Watching my parents get older and praying they’ll get to see this happen for me and meet any children God gives me. Seeing it hurt them hurts. Wondering if I hadn’t sinned so much earlier in life if the outcome could have been different. Did it always have to be this way? There’s been so much investment into other people and their needs and feeling like God has not rewarded me for my efforts is painful. God had me pray for a man for over three years who married someone else. He’s married with a child and I’m not. Why? I followed God and he didn’t and yet he has what God calls a reward and inheritance. The questions, the unanswered questions are sometimes overwhelming. I’ve celebrated others and genuinely long to be celebrated. 🤍

I understand completely, I was right where you are - my heart truly goes out to you. God will never use our past sin against us, it’s just not in His loving nature. When you came Him he removed your sin as far as the east is from the West and remembers them no more. So you being single has absolutely nothing to do with your past 💗. Please be assured of that. I know it is hard, I know it sucks when people get blessed all around with what you want. Trust me, your blessings are coming too. He is not a respecter of persons. He loves you! He is busy writing your love story and it will all make sense one day when your person comes in why it couldn’t have happened any sooner. Leave your parents in the Lord’s hands and just focus on His love for you in this season! I’m praying for you! 🙏🏻🫶🏻

For me it’s a case of I met someone really compatible back when I was 18 and have not seen her over 10 years now. We never broke up on fighting terms but both knew we had to separate because it was better for her in the long run for her college program with bioengineering even though my college did not have it. But in the meantime all I can do is have hope and pray we come back since we both were heading towards the engagement talk the following college year at age 19/20 since we were dating. I just have my painful moments wondering why I have to wait so long to satisfy the desire for marriage and fatherhood, but I am seeking God in the meantime while seeking purification of my soul and heart in Jesus. I have good reason to have hope that we could meet back up one day since God brought us together the first time and I just have my days wondering if she would even want to be with me again since we both were our first loves together.

@@daniellashamaroseI could find her contact info yes. I find myself both wanting to rekindle the love we had for each other but at the same time afraid to because I don’t have what I need at this time to date with the intention of marriage. I am just not at the point in life, which has always been a huge struggle for me because of my debt and my parents debt as well, to hit the financial provider aspect as Ephesians 5 commands me to be as the husband along with the protector and leader of the relationship. At 28 I find myself afraid to reach out to her and attempt to date others knowing her and most people my age are much further along than me career wise and financially with stability compared to me living with my parents moving place to place because we rent preventing me from committing to a long term job and career on my own since I can’t get past those first few months worth of costs for like an apartment to then stay committed to a company or job and start buying the necessities like a car to give me more flexibility. It doesn’t mean I wouldn’t love her or anyone else and try to do right making Christ the center of the relationship and being the spiritual leader of the household in prayer and daily Scripture meditation like I am doing in my singleness, which is how we met at Church. I am choosing to seek a deeper relationship with God and holiness in my singleness as I go though graduate school at the same doubting and losing hope marriage can happen since I lack the money and material provisions needed for it which I have been judged and rejected harshly in the past for not having when I dated and wanted to go long term.

At a certain point you need to give up hope. There’s some people that God just doesn’t care about. Let the cynicism consume you and turn your heart to stone so you can’t feel anything at all.

My friend, I am praying for a revelation of God’s love that knocks your socks off! Your comment couldn’t be further from the truth - God loves everyone, period. I know being single is hard - especially these days… but when you put your trust in God and lean fully on Him, He will carry you through. Hope deferred makes the heart sick - we must never give up our hope in Him. Fight for it, take it back. Soften your heart again so that when the time does come for a spouse - and it will come - you will be ready to receive it! I will be praying for you 🙏🏻🫶🏻

I totally get it. Is your family Christian? I think what helped me is keeping in mind that your family just loves you and wants someone for you and your happiness. But I know it’s frustrating when you are doing what you are supposed to and waiting on God and people make it seem like you are doing nothing (waiting on God is the most active thing you could be doing). Just try to keep in the back of your mind that they love you and maybe talk to them and let them know you know they want you to be happy but they need to trust the Lord’s plans for you. I’ll keep this in mind to maybe do a video on this topic as well💗💗! Praying for you, I know it is not easy!
