What is the GK Wireless system? The GK Wireless System is a wireless cable solution for use with a divided pickup from Roland(GK-2, GK-3) or Godin (SA). The GKW system consists of a sender- and receiver unit that can replace the 13 pin DIN cable between a guitar and an effect unit. It is capable of wireless transmission of 6 divided pickup outputs, regular pickup output and control signals; up, down, volume and mode switch. Hence, it will give more freedom of movement to a guitar player who wants to use a guitar synthesizer or -modeler (Roland GR-55, VG-88, VG-99). It is also more reliable than a 13-pin DIN cable as these cables tend to be heavy and prone to bad connections. It has not been tested with the new Boss SY-1000 modeler, but it is expected to work as it also uses the GK-3 divided pickup.
What you see in this video is just my proof of concept. I will turn this into a commercial product when there are enough prospective buyers.
