My favorite open source Android apps include Firefox, Open Camera, VLC for Android. Simple Mobile Tools looks good though I haven't tried it yet. It offers 15 free and simple open-source apps that focus on privacy and simplicity over fancy features.

I could not get Photon to transfer from Win10 to my Note 10+ or my Tab S7 FE. I'm in my home and they all share the same wi-fi.

That's actually wierd. I have been able to transfer files from s20fe to windows 11 without any issues. Did you try the hotspot method?
Have you tried Project 404 Tokui V.6.1? I tried it and it came with Leica camera (not MIUI camera).

Is that the official version? Haven't tried it.. I'm currently testing cherish os.. will try to flash 404 after that!

I normally do not test unofficial versions, bit I'll give it a try.
Photon does not work on mac. Even though it says it work on mac. The app is not working.
