L & T is the best stock to be accumulated now. HUL may possibly give more than 100% returns in a shortwhile. Heromoto corp has an excellent run up recently, but still some potential left. Now the sector and stock would be bharti airtel.

It totally depends on one's preference. If you have time to track stocks every week then investing in stocks make sense. But if you don't get much time to review and track then investing via ETF or Index fund will be a better decision. If stocks are handled properly then one can get better returns.

It's very risky . As paint sector is now nomore monopoly with many new players like mrf, jubilant , aditya birla , jsw etc.. better stay with leader when there is no monopoly

Dear Ranjan, Ultimately you have shifted from MF to stocks. Every time you give weightage to MF than stocks. However your 5 stocks are very good but not for buying because all are already elephants & not much room for growth. Also the PE ratio is very high. I consider Dmart in the selling zone not even the holding zone. So find good quality stocks at a very cheap price.

@@__________ran in that case best to switch to FD. It is meaningless to invest in the stock market with a 10 to 12% max. Also whose PE ratio is too high. These stocks will not fall no one can give a guarantee. Check Bajaj Finance & Kotak bqnk

Better to invest in nifty 50 index fund than buying these giant elephants , you will get below 15 % cagr
