What a gem! We are so lucky and unlucky at the same time. We have personalities like Arif Hasan, and still, we don't take advantage of their presence and knowledge. Karachi is my love ❤

Karachi, was a leading city, east of Suez, in the '40s. A school classmate's father, an Australian, was Chief Pilot, PIA back in 1963. He lived in the posh Sind Club. I remember looking in awe at the pictures of Karachi David brought back after each school holiday. Another school-friend, a resident of Clifton, who I was meeting after 58 years, said these days most parts of the city stink; it's filthy; crime is unpredictable and high. Congratulations are in place for you guys; just look at what you've done to it!

Very informative talk. I agree that Karachi despite its problems, still is a place where I like to live. I returned to Karachi about a year ago, where I was brought up, after 45 years of staying outside for education and career. The problems can be solved when the rest of the country is problem-free. People have moved from different parts of the country because their areas are backward regarding jobs, education, health services, and other factors. Integration of ethnic groups is vital for harmony and ownership of Karachi.

It's ironic that people at helm of affairs have vested interests and they won't consider the advices and suggestions of such remarkable and visionary professionals.

New Mumbai airport under construction phase 1 next year open ho sakta hai 4. Coastal road project Aur bhi bahut

I remember elders used to say Karachi is Pakistan’s Mumbai but looks like Pakistani govts totally neglected the city
