when I was a child, I lived with my uncle, a very talented sculptor, painter and musician. at that time, every morning I would jump out of bed with joy to run to the workshop and see what's new.from those years, I have a longing for sculpture in my heart.especially the simple one, with the use of simple tools, even folkloric.this movie inspired me today I can and I have time to come back to that.👍😁

Hello, it is a basic tutorial. Too much detail can scare a beginner. For some people, a simple face like this becomes a challenge. If you want to see fine details you can take a tour of the channel to see the videos of face expression carving and other artistic carvings.

@@CharlyBrunetSculpture thanks for replying. I made my comment about 5 or so minutes in when it truly looked like an Easter Island statue replica. I didn’t’ try get to watch the whole video yet. I thought it was amazing how simple you made it look to get started. My uncle, thirty plus years ago used to carve American cowboys from cedar. I always wanted to get into it, but my OCD perfectionist attitude won’t let me. If the nose was slightly off, I’d keep going until there was nothing left but shavings to start a fire with.
@CharlyBrunetSculpture
😄 perfectionism is important but you have to know how to dose it. Not all noses are straight, some are crooked and that is what gives your characters personality. Too much perfection can look synthetic.

@nikadmin1244
