Even less than 7000, voltas 1.5 ton 3 star AC 35k, and 1.5 ton 5 star AC only 40k! 5 star is surely better!!

Please don’t spread false information. These days, the price difference between 3 star & 5 star AC is only 3k-5k for 1.5 ton AC. Further, the Electricity tarif rate is at least 7 to 8 Rs per unit ( including all charges).

This comparison stands true if you compare 3 star and 5 star ACs of the same brand and model series. the difference between 5 and 3 star ACs is upwards of 5k (7-8k on average).

Itana sasta kis state me hai Mumbai me 50 unit ke upar 10-12 rupaye kam se kam hai including all charges. Mere ek kiraye ke makan me 60 unit ka bill 600 rupaye aata hai.

Hey Lallantop team! I'm an admirer and this is a good one but could have been a bit better. Such as, BEE decides the rating on which factors/components in the AC along with the numbers discussed? Which component makes the electrical consumption differ based on ratings and what's stopping the brand's from standardizing the most optimum one? Is the quality of the materials used in the AC different based on ratings? If so, then which ones and why? The shared calculations for the yearly consumption are based on what external temprature as the numbers will vary in hottest of places?

Wrong information 3* & 5* acs have 5k-8k difference. Electricity cost per unit is 8-12 in most of india.. Both of these factors covers this difference in 3/4 maximum 5 years. An ac have a life of more than 15 years.

Question is not only money, big question is which one is more environmental friendly and the answer is 5 star. Even if it cost little more but still justifiable to buy it.

There is a difference of cooling capacity between 3 star and 5 star ac also and the build quality. For ex- Daikin or LG 5 star provides upto 280 watts more cooling capacity with features as well

This is good analysis but holds good for sarkri bijli ...jo society main rehte hai their electricity tarif is high and AC runs for minimum of 10-12 hrs so as said in the last statement 5 ⭐ is less pain
