Also remember, Practical Knowledge is the key!!! This is the point which I missed and this point was the major concern for the companies while hiring new candidates Whenever they are hiring new candidates, they look for the passion, the enthusiasm towards the work. And they judge your passion by looking over the number of working projects you have made. So make sure, you make at-least one project a month.

Hello good time I program with esp32 in ThonnyIDE environment. When I upload and run the code, to continue coding, when I hit the stop button and ctrl C, the code and repl environment does not open for me, and there is no way to install the firmware on the board again. What is the method for this problem? Does using the Visual Studio Code environment solve this problem?

One question I always have in my mind is What is the cost of creating a new product from scratch how many times they fail in software and hardware part, how they make enclosure for it , which software is used and from whome they buy it ,and from where they buy their printed pcb board ,m just asking of developing a single successfull product like u have all in one home automation board.

Hi, I am currently studying ECE Engineering and I’m really interested in IoT. I wanted to pursue Masters degree abroad, would you recommend doing a Masters in IoT itself or a Masters in Embedded Systems and then going into IoT domain? And are there a lot of jobs for IoT engineers at the moment?

I couldn’t get to set my esp8266 and esp32 running in my Arduino ide even after installing Python 2.7.3 and pyserial from adafruit. I have downloaded the drivers and installed the board in Arduino ide. The port is “com 28” and I think I used “nodemcu 1.0 module 12E” for esp8266 or there about! ( I am using CP2102 chip) The device manager shown that the hardware was properly installed and ready to use. If I try to open the serial monitor in Arduino it will never open, instead I will see “error com port 28 busy” If I upload code on the boards it pops out bunch of errors among which is “error opening serial port” or something like that. I am frustrated, I need help please!

Very informative video , thanx a lot. I am a 3rd year computer science University student. I am very interested in IoT career. I already know programming languages including hardware programming, communication network concepts, UI, Big data, Machine Learning, and cloud computing. However , I dont know electronics , how sensors work. In fourth year there is a course "embedded systems" and before I take that course, I have to take a physics course on electricity and waves. As I dont have enough electronics and hardware background , is IoT right career choice for me ?

I asked couple of companies regarding this and some of them agreed that they are using Arduino. But the point is they are using RTOS so even if you are using Arduino IDE, try it with freeRTOS in that secondly you can google about linking Alexa skills with AWS, the articles are available for that
