The portal in the back alley is there because the back-left room with the book is meant to represent the Library of Kamer-Taj, and Dr. Strange is "portalling" there.

As a modular fan, what I dislike most is that the back alley takes away a huge chunk of the corner building, making it feel very cramped on the inside, especially on the ground floor which is mainly stairs leading straight into the front door

I think they should have added a Iron Spider, a Bruce Banner, The Ancient One , Cull Obsidian and I wouldn’t mind if they just gave us that exact same Cull Obsidian, I also think they need to make updated mini figures of the Black Order maybe in the infinity saga line?

It’s disappointing to say this set has bad or mediocre minifigures because most times in marvel sets you can bet on good figures, at lest the builds good

If i had loads of disposable income id get two sanctums, make the roof black, add some vines then I have 616 sanctum and the incursion universe sanctum (Sinister Strange). It'd be a cool contrast

I love the building of this set, but I agree on the minifigures! I think frankly they should have done the Iron Spider as it would have actually tied better with NWH, and probably would have made the minifigure selection 10x more desirable with just its inclusion as well

When you talked about the civil war wanda, I started giggling looking at my figure

I actaully love the gargantos portal, and wouldn't remove it!. It makes the side wall pop out more, instead of being the most bland side. My only issue with it is that the tenticles hit the Bugle stairwell if you put them together. In terms of figures, I think The Ancient One would've been the best inclusion.

I've done so much darn looking on youtube for a specific mod to the sanctum. I've seen absolutely no one do the grave for zombie strange. I have heard a few people talk about it. But no one has done it! is there any chance you will be doing a part 2, to sanctum mods? I obviously know this is a considerable stretch and I don't expect you to make a video whatsoever. But, I want to be able to do a grave properly on top of my sanctum. My current grave doesn't please me at all

While Wanda looks better with leg printing, the only print they could have done were black boots, as in the movie she had black pants and boots and that is kinda pointless, maybe adding a waist cape would improve her leg situation.

Agreed my main gripe is the portals, and how gargantos makes it super awkward. Also the fact that the landing at the top of the stairs where the bookcases are is super narrow

I’m gonna be real, this video (and most other mod videos like this) really bug me, because I understand wanting things like leg/arm printing, but wether it matters or not, there are times where Lego won’t do leg/arm printing, and it’s not a big deal. Would figures with leg printing look nice? Yeah, but ESPECIALLY using custom prints just feels off, like at that point just get all custom figures, because lego usually can’t live up to the detail of custom parts.

It seriously amazes me how you spineless buttkissers still find excuses for big companies ripping you off. The build is not worth the insane price they charge, so people at least want decent looking figures. Not everybody has money to burn like y‘all

this was a pretty underwhelming mod, changing the colour of a roof. Buying pieces from a 3rd party company. adding legprinting and elements from minifigures one may not have. The first thing I'm gonna do is probably extend the build removing that ugly alley in the back. Allowing for everything inside to be pushed back 6 studs. As for me its just unacceptable to have the doors literally touch the stairs when they are opened.

These are actually great ideas to do. Boo hoo, mentioned 2 arms from customs. Could've mentioned the batman arms but the point is still the same. The statue is a great idea (might even do myself) wanda was obvious but still good to mention. And ppl do use the black roof alot so good to mention that. Maybe not what you specifically wanted to see but these are good ideas

I just ordered my copy of the sanctum sanctorum set, (I was waiting for VIP weekend) and I love most of the mods you did. One of my problems is the black roof. I guess it’s just not in my taste. One thing that you should have included is the wicked brick display case, and the LED light kit, two things that I will definitely be adding to my sanctum.

Cool mods but if you look the new Iron Man has some different details than the previous one

Am I the only person who thinks they should’ve added Cull Obsidian? I get they could’ve done another Bruce or add America. But they have too many Good guys in this set and I feel that if you have ebony maw, you’ve got to have cull as well. In fact I thought he was the biggest fig they left out of this set. Especially since that whole fight sequence in infinity war mainly contained, Strange, Wong, iron man, Spider-Man, ebony maw, and cull obsidian.

I’m super happy for those that wanted this set but yeah to me the design and figures leave A LOT to be desired in my opinion. You addressed most of my criticisms. I don’t hate the set it’s just so cramped for no reason. Not to mention you can’t actually have a fully closed up sanctum thanks to wall swaps and the portal. The wall swapping is a neat gimmick but I’d rather have a fully complete building than a mostly complete one. And the figures, they do not make it worth it. Even if the Bugle was terrible (which it isn’t) the figures would more than make up for it. Just because of sheer size and character choice. I thought I was gonna want this set but after seeing reviews of it I’m kinda glad it’s out of my price range. It makes me less tempted to purchase it.

What about Cull Obsidian? He is in the scene in Infinity War and he is 1 of 2 missing figs (The other being Bruce.) For how expensive this is I don't get why they split it in 2. Either make it a Multiverse of Madness set or an Infinity War set.

I good substitute for the waist cape for wanda is using Jafar's cape, it's slim enough that makes it look good and not too much like her Cmf

If your gonna order wandas arms and head from fire star toys you might as well pay the extra £1.50 for the waistcape although it’s a custom made one it’s litterly the same as the official one

I'm adding a few minifigs, the Ancient One, America Chavez, homemade casual Thor from Ragnarok, custom kaecelious, custom Clea, and the comic book Defenders giant Hulk, custom Valkyrie, custom Silver Surfer and Namor from Wakanda forever(not perfect but close enough) possibly a few others depending on space!

Was hoping for more figured editing in this video, like i saw a great arms mod for zombie strange or using a multi colored hand on Wanda or using the falcons hair on Wong like how you did for the punisher

If you live in the US, I have to recommend against ordering from Firestar. My one and only order took so long to arrive, and they never responded to my queries. Turned out they sent my order to another US resident, and I was fortunate that they were honest and forwarded the order to me. So I won't be buying from Firestar again. Horrific customer service outweighs a quality product for me.
