I’m so glad I watched this video because the guy I’m dating told me he loves me but he hasn’t shown any of these signs.

I’m with a man that I have known for about35 or 40 years. We’ve always known that we had feelings for each other. But we were each in other relationships. His wife passed away about 9 months ago. Through his sister we have finally gotten together because I am divorced. He is so wonderful to me. He has asked me to marry him. When the time is right I will marry him. We love each other so much. But, I don’t want him to marry me because he is still grieving over his wife. He has promised that he isn’t. That he truly loves me and wants to take care of me. ❤️❤️🙏🏻✝️

9 months after losing his wife is not enough time to process his grief. I am in a relationship with a man who lost the love of his life 3 years ago due to cancer. I have been dating him for over a year and at times, he was all over the place. He didn't realize how much grief he that he hadn't processed. I have monitored his journey of grief this past year and he still has some work to do. Nothing will happen between us until he handles everything in regards to his loss. I totally understand where he is at and with time, we will be together. It can be the right guy but the wrong season. Remember, the wrong season can turn into the right season!

This is all very interesting. Thank you! My man and I have been friends for 34 years and we just recently, in the past 3 years, have invested in each other emotionally. It has been very fulfilling to experience a man who does all of the things you described. With a man like this, I have never needed to look elsewhere. He has held my interest and vice versa, through applying the principles you described. It has been a beautiful and healing experience for me, to be associated with a man like this. Neither of us has any need to look or go elsewhere. I wish we were all born knowing these principles. That way we would not have to suffer so much, before we finally learn them.

You referenced a woman you are no longer with, yet you were doing all these positive things, then why are you still not together?? I honestly think you did this video to benefit you and help you to better yourself so next time your relationship will not fail. That's admirable but doesn't help me. An emotional connection is only part of it. I find body language and eye contact emotionally positive. Also, communication is absolutely key so is what's called the "friend zone". Friendship, the platonic friendship that gradually becomes more than just a friendship. If you can't develop a friendship, you can't develop a relationship that is fulfilling, loving and lasts a lifetime.

Background: I'm in a complicated datingish friendship with a guy I've known most of my life. We were serious 20 years ago, but he's not ready for a relationship currently. He's been looking too skinny of late tho I know he eats, so I asked if he's getting enough protein for his weight... So I just started dating a guy and I went out of town and when I got back, this guy didn't make an effort to see me right away. However, he's not dating other women, and he's working 60 hours or more to build his business at the moment. I'm not sure what to think about his lack of excitement though to find some small amount of time to see me. He was able to talk on the phone a bit. Doesn't seem like a good sign.

He took 4 months to show me any affection use to call or text me every morning and night before he goes to work or goes to sleep has only told me in 6 months that he loves me know everything has changed I go for hrs without hearing for him and barely see him or talk or text me anymore he means the world to me but apparently I don't mean anything to him at all anymore I don't see or.hear from him hardly at all only time he comes around is maybe 1 day a week know.for me to do his laundry and eat my meals for free

I met a guy who told me he is willing to commit. We are on long distance relationship. He told me he loves me after a month of dating, and has been on this LDR for a year now. He shared his uncomfortable truth about his past, he verbally told me he's making positive change in his lifestyle from not healthy eating to healthy ones. Asked me to choose clothes for him as I assumed he is willing to change how he wears them. Unfortunately he is not responsive whenever I text him. He probably only responds once a week. Whenever he texted, I always replied to him immediately. I am confused with this mix signal. Is he playing with me or does he just want to have his personal time or I'm just his option.
