Learned about some sets I didn't know about! Happy to see scorions feast on the list. Fantastic underrated sets.

That Crusader set looks perfect for my PVE nightblade tank! It’s a dark elf so it naturally has high spell damage, sap essence gives major sorcery. Buffing the shield. Proc it off lotus fan which applies minor vulnerability. It’s a medium set so weapons and jewellery.. Looks good.

I would just like to throw it out there and I’ve been using this set for years with Stam sorc. Since u did mentioned auroras thunder on Templar with jabs, I use storm knights plate on a stam sorc with hurricane. Insane damage

I remember using Aurorans Thunder on my hybrid Templar in PVP and was surprised how good it was.

@@TheRealGodzilla I tried it a bit, but War Maiden is clearly better since it buffs Templar sweeps dmg and selfheal. Also 100% uptime. Still looking for something to put Aurorans on, maybe DK backbar, maybe stamsorc.

@@johnmill9286 I been using War Maiden since the Morrowind Chapter dropped. People just didn't give it much notice. I was wrecking people on my mag-blade. Now I use it for my magicka templar as well.

I wonder how good it would be if you paired Aurorans with Overwhelming surge on magplar. Throw malacath band on or Ring of majesty, with an arena weapon back bar and 1 piece monster set. Overwhelming would take care of your sustain. Could build all damage with jewelry glyphs

Great game. I played everyday for 2 years when it first came.out. then was fairly active for another year then a passive player since then. I got burnt out on all the changes though. I get it. Gives you new things to work towards. But by the time i would get the new setmaxed out they make a new meta and you barely get to use the sets you jist maxed out. I have so much gold gear that i never use. Sometimes i try and mix and match and see if i can make an old sets work with new ones but its rare i find something that holds up to all the new stuff.

With the upcoming nerf on Ironblood on Update 35, I might test Trial By Fire for all my pvp tanks.

aetherial ascension using survival instinct red cp is an overlooked pair aetherial cost to dodge isnt that bad and survival instincts not only negates it, it actually goes a 5% cost decrease to it as well i tested on stamden before this patch. super fucking tanky

Magsorc pve: oakensul, 1p Balorgh, 5 moon hunter, 5 order' s wrath. 5 moon pieces jewelles and a nirn staff. For dungs and arenas.

Cam you backbar trial by fire? Will it carry to the front bar once under a status effect?

I run Crusader on PVE solo warden, so good. Proc it with stampede and pair it with Hexo's. 1 stampede procs both shields and weapon buff :)

I use it as well in PVE as a Nightblade Tank. Since I'm already using Lotus Fan for AOE Minor Vulnerability, and it is a 100% uptime due to it refreshing if you stay in the AOE. Its like a poor mans Yolnakriin, that is super easy to farm. Just throw it on jewlery and an ice staff and use Lotus Fan on your back bar on cooldown.

@@noonesfang131 I would highly recommend running Powerful Assault in its place if you're Tanking. Why? Well the first three bonus's you get from P.A is much more useful than the the bonus's you get off of Crusader. Crusader is more a PvE Dps setup with the added weapon & spell dmg stats. P.A gives you instead, increase max stats on those first 3 bonus's. Much more useful than the weapon & spell dmg bonus's. Do keep in mine that P.A is a medium armor PvP set from ICP. So this must be front bar'd only Also P.A gives the same amount of weapon and spell dmg increases as Crusader but better. Why? Well P.A isn't considered a "Minor courage" buff. Its just a flat increase. Which means it stacks even better with sets like Yolo (from Sunspire) or Magma Incarnate which gives "Minor courage". All thats required to proc P.A is any skill used from the Assault skill line. Such as razor caltrops which is a AoE major resistance debuff called "Major breach". This allowes to feel the need to taunt every little ad to reduce resistances for your group. I'm currently running Perfected Yolo (body) & P.A weapons & jewl. With bloodspawn (which will be replaced eventually).

Yes especially us crafting types, I would love to know more about crafting PVP set as I am not going to fork out 2-3 million on a 'fancy' set. (now I know Zero About PVP) Lvl 850 but interested in what it would take to - not get my Mac A Doodle handed to me.

One under rated amd slept on defensive set to bb is grace of gloom.

Is Trial by Fire a good back bar set or does the proc have to be exactly when you are affected with the status effect?

I think it has to be double barred because from what i understand you only get the effect while the 5 pc is active and under the effect of a status effect opposed to sets like clever that give you a buff for x amount of time when it's condition is met

trial by fire is a suggested double bar set imo i wouldnt back bar

I've used moonhunter on a magsorc - it's wonderful

trial by fire used to be good cause it could stack but they fixed that ages ago. Easy 25k armor lol

Is there a difference between elemental status effect and status effect, compare wording of the CP stars? I think so.

@slimer green I think somewhat the same but it cant quite be, because check the wording of the according cp stars, it says 1 time elemental status effect nad 1 time status effect. Im so far to tend to the meaning that elemntal are all zilla named and status is every negative effect that is not an abilty eg dot itself. Like snared is a status effect and sundered or bleed is (in zos logic) an elemental status effect.

Armor in the thumbnail looks insane.

Try using Auroran Thunder with Plague Slinger. Enemies will avoid you like the plague!

Arurans and that last one could pair on a werewolf 🤔 Top 5

Status effects are put on you by enemy players. You don't proc it yourself. Hope that helps.

Thank you I tried it again on my tank this time. I think it was working well? It seemed comparable enough to the mitigation I get with pariah or fortified brass but I’ll have to pay extra attention to figure out if I like it more.

Minor brutality poisons + moon hunter sounds like a decent combination

I’ve thought of this too, it got buffed to 8 seconds now so in perfect conditions it’s 800 plus damage with 2 second cooldown

i have i question about ARMOR : where in stats is Armor stats show and what do ? i try to find even in Avanced stats and dont find it , am i blind or what ? i dont find ETC " armor is 10000 give you 40% or so phycical and magical resist or ETC your item durability is longer by 60 %" . so how is armor count any way ?

Armor is both physical and spell resistance.

I use crusader on my WW berserker.

Top 5 I'm a new player and I'm scared to try out pvp because of my encounter with a toxic player in my first olay month. So I kinda dropped the idea of testing pvp cause I hear there are a lot toxic players in pvp. Is that actually true?

Toxic players in pve as well, all you have to do is block people if they’re being toxic in chat or whatever, and then you don’t have to deal with them anymore

Hey man ✋🏼 how is PvP in ESO for now ? I left ESO months ago (to much Lags, to much zergs) and Play Elden Ring PvP but it is Not ESO xD

i think ravager is still one of the most overlooked sets as well. at full stacks it provides 584 wpn and spell dmg. when you have an barslot aviable for caltrops its super nice since it stacks up really fast (caltrops apply breach every second when people stand in it). also caltrops slow people down when you are kitting + obviosly major breach in general.

I use a clever bb, ravager fb stamplar with magma on a nord, its like 8k sd with 40k resist lol, and since plar dont have major breach, caltrop is Just à given

Only complaint bout the scorpions set is that if other healers know your using it or just other players in general they’ll eagle eye your ass and bash you to hell

I thought that in pvp your character does not use any Champion Points ? Iv only been in it just for the daily experiance. Im a tank and I dont do much damage but I just load up on crowd control stuff as a dragonknight and with all my stuns this and that my team mates mop them up hahaa. When I have the ball I dont have to fight just run its pretty funny.

Why trials by fire over pariah? About two days i had a discussion with ma pvp homies. They sad, pariah gives u more resistance. Not from the beginning, but when u take dmg for Sure :D

I did the math pariah is better than trial by fire but only at 20% HP. Meaning you have to be dead for the set to perform better while trial by fire provides us with mitigation from 100% to 1% the same value and no scaling

Technically it is, to provide the same amount of armor with pariah, you need to be at 15% hp, about 4500hp for à 30k max hp toon, and you Will struggle more to heal as your armor Will decrease accordingly. Over the course of à fight, overall, trial by fire Will have mitigate more dmg, and its craftable, which make it easy to pair with any set. Pariah isnt bad, but by keeping your heal up, ppl Will have an harder time to lower your hp

@@vekk134 against a nb with poisons trial by fire isn't that strong. Also in order to maximize trial by fire i feel like the cp tree helps with the status effect being applied to you in terms of resource management and further mitigation.

@@TDJT most good set has specific situation where they are better, but i see way more dk than NB, and from all those NB, only à small amount are actually good enough. But if you run either trial or pariah, it mean that you probably look for some tankiness somewhere, so à gank blade Will probably still has an hard time. Its very hard to compared some set that share many similarity because eso pvp is so circumstancial, maybe in one fight pariah would have same you, and maybe in another trial would have mitigate enough dmg over the fight to have you kill your opponent. But i start using trial à few weeks ago and i was surprise at how it was easy to Just out pressure ppl

I mean there is alot better underated sets that you didnt mention but ok ie ,gryphons reprisal(harmony cro),rush of agony(this is a meta bg set so i guess not underated),elf bane (elf bane destro ult dk melts),azureblight reaper(crazy group dmg on dot builds),crimson oath rive (nasty group support back bar set),unleashed terror(best free dmg set in the game maybe apart from plague)

I’ve been trying to work out usage for azureblight. I’ve paired with heavy Syvarra’s on a stam sorc. I always thought the set would be great on a dk. You have any sets you recommend pairing with. Thanks!

Titan born is a very good set for sure, just sometimes the proc condition is very "baity" better for duels, or a very tanky class like necro not the classes that I play

I can't get Titan born to drop at all , I ran it three times in row and nothing! Maybe if I use a mag toon it will drop lol

I use 3 sets, which never got a mention, and of which I have no intion of changing. They are old, and effective, as any met my character in combat will attest.
