Producer Jon sounds like the stressed dad who could have really done with a lie in this Saturday morning, but has dutifully gotten up to play along with whatever game his kids want to play, so that in years to come they'll have these fond memories 🥲 I'm not crying, you're crying. Also I'm crying.

Every single time he said 'your friend and mine' I was expecting that... It would have been great to give them 30s for that too (sped up in the edit), because I'd love to see Ellen's drawing of Luke in the same kind of art style as she once drew herself with Pikachu at Disneyland

Seriously, that Cuphead was adorable, and I'd be proud if I could pull off a Paddington Bear that cleanly that quickly.

Mike was robbed. Agree with everything else but Mike's Optimus Prime was definitely the winner despite only being half finished. Also Mike's Sonic was amazing for having been completed in 5 seconds. Look forward to the Mike learning to draw videos on Outside Xbox they will be hilarious.

I noted that, too, and thought it was very cleverly done! Ellen said she was editing the video, so it was probably her, though Jon's editing is always excellent.

Congratulations Outside Xtra on 200(ish) episodes of Show of the Weekend!! Thank you for nearly 6 years of Ellening, honking sock puppets, Pokémon magazines, choose-your-own adventures, arts and crafts, and always "relevant" and "informative" video game quizzes! You make me smile and laugh every weekend and I can only hope to see you still do this show for another 4 years, so we can celebrate 10 years of normal adults doing absolutely normal things!

Oh no, we thought working out when the 100th episode was was difficult, but now we have all the sotw streams to debate whether they count or not! 😝 Here's to another 100ish episodes!

This was a fun idea, Ellen. The ironic thing is a few videos ago, I mentioned it'd be fun to see Ellen paired up with different members of the Ox teams and low and behold, we've been getting just that. I know they're all friends, but it's fun to see different personalities bounce off each other we normally don't see due to the channel separations.

Ellens drawing of ganondorf looks like the pokemon Snubbull. Also love how ellen and mike were making themselves giggle like mad.

It's very clear from the start which of them spent their formative years drawing Sonic fan-art

Everything about this was joyful and utterly delightful. Like a freshly baked biscuit.

Ellen's "Cuphead" looks like Tim Burton imagined Little Nightmares, and Salad Fingers had a baby.

I once saw someone comment on a Show of the Weekend, "SOTWE is the dark souls bonfire of the soul", and every time I think of that it makes me tear up

Mike got the Moral Victory, as far as I'm concerned. His Optimus was just a school photo - cuts off at the chest!

I would love a kind of sequel to these drawing videos where the other members of oxbox and oxtra try to guess the characters based only on the two drawings

Remember kids: Everything - including art - is a COMPETITION. But in this case at least it's wildly entertaining!

Joke's on you Jon, Luke famously doesn't watch any of these videos as we know from past quizzes 😁 So you'll have to slide Ellen's Paddington Bear under his office door if you want to torture him with it... I know you don't have individual offices, so just slide it under the door when he's on the loo, that might even work better.

Gonna make a very nerdy distinction here.. Ganondorf is his human form. The pig monster Mike was going for was Ganon.. and having watched a little more they did put up a pic with *in his Ganon form* caption soo... withdrawn😅

this was such a joy to watch, nice to see them both drawing for this challenges and i love how producer Jon was so polite in how he asking them what to draw

I think the Paddington Bear drawing proves that they have the artistic skill to utilize additional 5 seconds effectively

I love Ellen and Mike's whole dynamic together, Mike comes off as her goofy big brother and they genuinely always seem to have a lot of fun together

Why do I love it so much when Ellen makes little character/creature noises?

I really enjoy this type of video because it really lets those involved shine a spotlight on their comedic talents (Producer Jon included), which is great because OxBoxTra is full of my favorite funny people

Idk about anyone else but when Jon said "Lara Croft" I was thinking "Oh god...how sexualized is this going to be because they have only 5 seconds" but to my pleasant surprise, neither of them did that. Pure minds at Outside! :)

This show really makes my Saturday! When are we having the king Arthur choose your own adventure back?

Ellen drew a generic transformer while Mike drew Optimus Prime. If you had to guess which transformer they had drawn you'd have a decent chance of getting it right for Mike's, while Ellen's would just be pure luck.

That's an amazing Sonic drawing for 5 seconds, Mike. Instantly recognizable. Also, points for the fire on the tail.

I think I could say this about any of the oxboxtra lot, but honestly, but I'd also mean it about any of them; what a trio this group makes! This is a wonderful episode. I laughed so much.

The best part of the 5 second drawings is that you really don't have time to think at all or take in the drawing as a whole, so what you draw can literally surprise you. Both Mike and Ellen cracking up when they look at what they've just done is wonderful.

This is my favorite video you guys have made this year! I love the pure joy and laughter. 😅 Thanks for all the entertainment, y'all!!!

This should be in more Show of the Weekend episodes, if only for the absolute belly laughs that it causes in the participants. Also, Mike somehow has Big Dad Energy and Older Sibling energy all in one, and I wouldn't want him any other way

I've been rewatching a lot of older videos from both channels since everything has gone to hell and this one is great for the sheer ridiculousness of it. I needed this fun right now so thank you lot for being fun for so long

They're so serious for those 5 seconds and then as soon as they see what they've drawn when it's over, chaos and giggling descends and I'm here for it

Holy goose grenades goslings! I just realized that 100% completing the untitled goose game gives you a crown, and I assume - a title! Wild. He’s now a titled goose, rather than just an entitled one.

Mike is an absolute hype man, he was complimenting Ellen’s art every time.

I'd love to see the Oxboxtra crew play Gartic Phone or one of the drawing games from Jackbox. I'd also absolutely love to see an Oxboxtra and Drawfee crossover.

Yeah seriously.. If we use the same logic as the other drawing "show these to a kid and see which one they prefer" they'll all recognize Optimus in Mike's drawing.. Ellen's is just a generic blocky robot. Heck, even knowing it's supposed to be Optimus, it still looks like a blocky mess.
