Go to a Dollar Tree and browse the toy aisle. They have really bizarre naming conventions, because a lot of toys are produced overseas, and certain things don't translate well when you go from English to Chinese, and back to English. "Evil Stick" is just a bad retranslation of "Magic Wand"

My kids had Furbys. One would NOT stop talking. We took the batteries out and literally threw it outside the second story window. I kid you not, it chattered all night. Outside, with no battery. The next trash day, we threw it in the garbage and never bought another Furby.

I had a doll called chicobello when I was around 9? It would be sick and U would need to give it medicine and stuff, and it would cry when it had a fever. At night time it would still cry, even if it was off… we took the battery out and it still cried sometimes…We still have it somewhere,in the basement.

I've heard tons of horror stories about Furby's and it makes me glad my mom wasn't always able to buy all the latest toys.

For the Furbees, there were some computer chips made with materials from nuclear fallout areas in the Southwest and those could emit rrandom particles that would interfere with the processing. Maybe some of those were used in the toys.

my Furby's were freaking evil. they would not quit talking to one another even with being away from one another across the house. At night it sounded like different voices were talking from one end of the house to the other and no longer sounded like the Furby's voices.

When my kids were small, my parents bought them the Furby and kept it at their house. My kids, all boys aged 2,4, & 6, didn’t really take an interest to it. My dad was always into the newest electronic stuff and was excited that a toy could learn through conversation & reading to it to develop the English language on its own. (I guess we can say it was an early version of AI!!!). He & my Mom, at first, got enjoyment out of it. However, after a few weeks, my Mother kept hearing strange noises, hissing and screaming intermittently at all hours of the day and night. She was not a superstitious person and had never had a paranormal experience. This really freaked her out. They then figured out it was the Furby and she wanted me to take it home. Just the look of it I didn’t like and my oldest son, who has a sixth sense like me & my father, didn’t want it at all! It must have been the first generation made like the clip stated. She gave it to Goodwill!

Fugglers. When I was about 9, my Granny bought me and my siblings one Fuggler each, and I was absolutely terrified of them! They just looked so creepy…

My dad was about 20 when he got a ouija board and decided to use the board at a small party with his sister and everyone who has heard of this board should know the rules, but if not here is one of the biggest rules. Always say goodbye before leaving the board. But his sister did not realize this and she got up to leave the game because she got scared. As she went to get up the triangle piece was launched off the board right beside her face, it then lodged point first an inch and a half into the wall behind her. This is honestly one of the worst things that ever happened to my dad and his sister. He is still terrified by ouija boards and he wont even step near them anymore. And my dad is a scary man, he even used to have his own paranormal team with his friends, and they travelled all over the country investigating and experienced many terrifying things. But this was by his words his most chilling and terrifying.

1:28 its called the furby death screech and its due to very low battery. Furbys don't really use all that much power, so it takes a long time for those batteries to die. my best theory for said screech and them just randomly turning on is due to the fact that batteries don't just 'die', they have a residual charge and that furbys don't need much to get em goin. So that furby sittin in yr closet for 7 years probs went off cause the battery had some juice, but they screech cause the system doesn't just 'know' when to stop pulling power from the batteries and theres not wnough for the speaker to work properly. I know theres probs a better way to explain that but its interesting.

See? Look how old the Furby™ doll is? It had a valid A.I. that was able to learn patterns and language, even though it was simplistic. We tested this by making a chart of 25 gibberish words to represent English counterparts (eg. floop for pet, sturmfk for friend etc) and it learned the words in its own Furby™voice. Not only that but when set in front of another Furby™, face to face (sensor to sensor) the original doll was able to teach the new doll. Successful through a number of generations. I can't remember how many off the top of my head; at the time those dolls became difficult to find. It was at least 5. I would need to dig out the paperwork. (yes, I'm a complete dork) I can't be the only person that finds this creepy and disturbing. I have a full 68 page report that I have written about this. I should publish it online somehow. The point being; imagine what type of A.I. exists now that the common person does not know about. The fact that robots have now been made that can walk and run on two legs like a human (a very difficult task to accomplish) is very scary to me.

I actually was never traumatized by the Furbies, but rather annoying when they didn't work when they did freak out. When they came out with the Baby Furbies, they did that less often than the first version ones. Now Ouija Boards is a definite NOT TO BE MESSED WITH, you can summon a demon through those or open a Poltergeist that will follow around the person for a long time. You can't burn them, but you can bury them, never mess with these boards ever, they are no good on Earth and they should NOT be sold at any store PERIOD!!!

I personally didn't have a weird furby experience except for one incident. My niece had one when she was around 6 years old. One day it was sitting on her dresser all motionless. My niece walked into her room and the furby automatically spoke up. Hi Carlee!! yup, my nieces' name is Carlee. She didn't even speak to it first. Not sure what it was but it would speak random intelligent descriptions of activities going on around it. Kinda creepy to say the least.

My younger bro had a Furby, and the creepiest thing that happened was that it’s voice randomly changed into a ridiculously deep voice, and it would randomly wake itself up and turn itself on, despite being flicked off

That's what happened to one of mine. It ended up in my dad's room after I burned my first one for coming on while I slept late at night multiple times. JUST LIKED THE VIDEO AND SUBSCRIBED TO THE CHANNEL JUST TURNED ON NOTIFICATIONS

I have an interesting Ouija board story! Me and my group of friends (me+3 people) were hanging out and one of my friends suggested to play with the ouija board he had. We agreed to it and started playing. First few tries were failed. But after 20 mins, the thing started moving by itself. We met a ghost called Lilly, and she claimed she didn't want to make any harm, and she just wanted someone to sing happy birthday to her. So we sang it and then suddenly lights flickered. And then she said goodbye. AND THAT'S HOW WE CELEBRATED A BIRTHDAY OF A GHOST!

Furbies didn't learn English, they eventually started to say predetermined things each one was programmed to over a set period of time. It was a trick the developer used to make people/kids think talking to their Furby would make it learn words like a parrot. The lie got them banned from government facilities and there were major security concerns surrounding it, so they came clean about it. Leaving a Furby alone in a quiet area and forcing it to "wake up" would result in it beginning to say a few English words, even if not exposed to any speech.

We got a Furby one Christmas. My mother was, and still is, ridiculously attached to the stupid thing. She insisted on keeping it in my room at night for some reason. One night, it woke me up saying "Me get angry!" and making odd noises. I freaked out and chucked a pillow at it and broke something inside it. She still has it somewhere.

In the uk 16 you can get a motorcycle license. A license for a car you could be 17 or above and you can start drinking at 18 in the uk and probably other countries but idk I only know the rules in the uk

@@baconbiter I always call it the Eye, or Eyepiece, since you see through it to read the message. However, it is true that you should NEVER take your fingers off of the piece until you say "goodbye". If you do, the spirit will NEVER leave until properly banished. Also, a burning candle or ring of candles should be near, on, or around the board, and you should NEVER EVER do it in a graveyard, or during the new moon, or alone. Water, especially holy water or Moon water, should be on hand, just in case, and casting a circle is a MUST. Also, DO NOT BURN A OUIJA BOARD!! That will just release the spirit or Daemon to do whatever it wants. To get rid of a Ouija board, throw it into a moving body of water and walk away. It is IMPERATIVE that you DO NOT LOOK BACK. You can also rid yourself of cursed, jinxed, or hexed objects the same way!

I have a sister. It's not only parents. My sister would buy everything she wants. So when ur child choose that stick, you need to buy it asap otherwise your kid would cry in the store, and that's the worst scenario for a mother. It called it self evil stick and they're surprised that it was evil. This is why it is important to pay attention. I wonder if these parents would notice if someone said they wanted to go camping with their kids while wearing a shirt that says they're a pedophile. Would they just let their kids go camping with that person? I don't know about others but I rather have a crying/upset safe child than a silent traumatized (or dead) child.

I had a weird simpsons Halloween toy set where you place characters on the setting and they say random things when you press a button. The Ned Flanders devil use to randomly say "you sold me your soul for a doughnut" without ever touching it.

I brought a ouija board from a church flea market. I left it a the tv cabinet for some time without touching it. A few yeras later, after experimenting strange things, seeing shadows in the house and having unexplained health problems, my son told me he and his former girlfriend had playd with it. I, then, tried to burn it in the backyard fireplace. Everything burned but the board. I had to try to burn it again the next day, it finally did. I was affraid but relieved. My house felt much better after a few days.

I’ve only just found this video but when I heard the bit about the furby I wasn’t surprised. I had 1 back in 2000 and it used to freak the hell out of me. We actually did have a ghost of an old lady in the house we lived in at the time and at that point the furby was motion censored so the ghost was forever setting it off. I threw it in the back of my wardrobe in the end but sometimes I’d still hear it going off for no reason. Weird things!

When i was a little kid i loved furby’s, I still do! But i had this pink furby that fell of my shelf one time and didn’t stop screaming, and after i got it to stop and turned it back on it just said gibberish, not furby gibberish but unprogramed de-amalgamated slop that had this electronic feel to it. I put all my furbies in the attic that day, but i recently took them all out and put them on a shelf. I made sure to take the batteries out so that it would never do that horrifying scream again.

I had had a Furby toy when I was younger and was terrified. I kept having nightmares and sometimes I still do now. 50 likes for story time! 👇
