So, regarding the last video with the rice around the house: This is likely a witchcraft house blessing. The rice is being used to physically cast a circle around the house. 'Circles' are used in witchcraft to create an energetically cleansed and protected space in which to work magick or cast spells. The witch who cast this house blessing likely enclosed the house within the circle with the intention of ensuring it received any raised energy created by the spell. Finally, the nectarine soft drink is the primary indication that this is specifically a house blessing because nectarines magickally correspond to the home and moving house.

It was likely done in the night, in secret as most people see witchcraft as a negative, dark magic.

I'm in agreement. Also in some cultures rice is viewed the way we might think of salt. It's a substance used to repel or absorb negative or dark intentions, beings ect. But who ever did it unfortunately did creep the hell outta the poor couple. We had something similar in Bosscastle in Cornwall when a new vicar moved there 😈😁. She thought our traditional welcome that was left on her doorstep was satanic for quite a while till the locals had to put her right and let her know it was a good thing. Bless her. 💚

Ab that last one: Most articles I’ve say that rice is a very holy thing and surrounding a house with it is a type of blessing that helps protect the home. Mostly it’s done to protect a home and the people who live in it and I haven’t read anything saying that it’s bad. It’s almost always done when you first move into a home. Nuke said it was their first night in the home so maybe someone from the neighborhood was trying to bless their home and protect it. It was mentioned in the video that this is a good neighborhood where nothing bad ever really happens and maybe the reason for that is someone from the e neighborhood blesses everyone’s homes. Just a thought.

I'm a pagan witch and the rice around the house is for good luck. "rice in a new home symbolizes the idea that no one under this roof will go hungry, according to a pagan superstition." the candles seem to be white, meaning: peace, purity, healing, innocence, divination, and exorcism... while the black candle represents: safety, protection, banishing negativity, and pride. the wood log could represent Yule for protection and making new beginnings (nature protects) and the flowers and berries r also a good sign the welcome matt is probably just a normal gift (the candle wax on it was either on purpose as apart of a ritual but the black candle that was used seemed to burn a hole through itself causing the wax to pour out) thing about that candle blowing out means that protection is STROOOOOOOOOOOOONG...unless its just a cheap candle theres no reason for this to be on a "top 5 scary things caught on video" thing

@@Alanis95br I was literally ran over by a car and left for dead. Dude was drunk. Luckily a passer by stopped and stayed with me. During the ambulance ride to the hospital I died. They did CPR as did the Er staff until I was functioning on my own again. I was 19. The cause of my death was a broken vertebrae pressing on my spinal cord. As the swelling began around the bone it pressed against my cord. Quick thinking Drs and nurses were able to position me safely until surgery and the swelling could go down. During that 11 minutes I was standing clear as day in my dead grandparents kitchen arguing with my grandma about going on a trip with grandpa. If she had let me walk out the door to go with him I wouldn't be here writing this.

Bahaaa great way to freak out your new neighbors. Just place random crap on their doorstep lol.
