The Hebrew word for “helper” is also translated “rescuer”. How wonderful is that !!! My wife honestly is and has been all of that to me. God blessed me with one of His daughters for a wife.

@Jaceareeno according to Strong’s it appears over 20 times in the Old Testament, and in some of these instances it does appear to be used in the context of rescue/protection etc

Love to God is first and above all. Marriage is working together. As she said a wife submits to the husband. There are plenty of examples in the Bible where husbands or men took the advice of their wife or woman, but in the end it's the husband's decision. Abraham left Ur to live in tents and Sarah followed her husband, despite being in a comfortable lifestyle in Ur. When Sarah wanted Hagar out of the family, Abraham prayed about it and God told him what she wanted was good. Women participate in the direction in which way the family goes, but ultimately the husband is the head and makes the decision. The only one who doesn't have a head is God. The head of the Christ is God. The head of the congregations is the Christ. The head of the family is the husband. But all are held responsible for the well being of those they preside over. As I said all life decisions should be discussed, but when it's time for the rubber to hit the road, the woman has to support her husband.

The only time God talked to women in the bible was when he judged them unfavourably. See Proverbs 8:4+5. The bible is spirit, and all spiritual matters are for the husband. Everything else is open for discussion. Women are to be silent in church and ask their husbands questions at home. She is only allowed to ask questions. Not dictate spiritual matters.

The way in which i need my wife is different than the way she needs me, and way i help her can be different than the way she helps me. its very clear to me how different our perspectives are and how different our minds work, but the agreement and foundation of a relationship upon God first helps everything else fall in line because everything He teaches is meant to keep us in check, by being both humble and grateful to each other, and to act in servitude to the other. the core of both roles are the same, but the way we approach it is different between man and woman.

Why do I "come under in rank" if I'm equal in value, dignity and if I have equal authority to rule creation? I'm not "submitting" to anyone. So I'm equal but I'm supposed to be treated like a permanent child? This makes no sense. The video contradicts itself. I don't "have to" do whatever YOU want all the time like my needs and wants are somehow less important. I'm not going to be the only one compromising.

There can only be one leader or boss in a group. The others follow his lead while they do their part to contribute. The others are not the leader's children. Same thing in a marriage. You're not the husband's child; you're his helper and his crown. The husband is the one who leads the family in the direction he thinks is best. Besides, as a woman, you're naturally aroused by a man who takes the leadership role, not a man who wants you to make important decisions of the household because he's too indecisive or lazy.

The passage in Ephesians actually starts out “Be subject to ONE ANOTHER our of reverence for Christ”. In Christ, their is no longer any patriarchy. Mans desire to power over another human being is rooted in sin. He is not a “god” of the home. Their is No Jew or Greek, Male or Female, we are all one in Christ Jesus. If you are a Christian, Jesus brought us a new way. The first will be last, whoever wants to become great, must become the least, etc. Jesus models servant leadership. If any Church is teaching male dominance and superiority, run the other way because that is not what Jesus was taught.

The top patriarch is God, followed by the man, followed by the woman. No one says that the husband is the "god" of the household. You're using strawman tactics. The husband is the spiritual leader or pastor of the household. The wife can be a strong Christian and go to church all she wants, but if the husband is not, their children won't be Christians when they grow up. Yes, Jesus models servant leadership, which is still leadership and not at all egalitarianism. The husband must be a self-sacrificing leader, but the relationship is still complimentary.

this is what i told this so-called pastor "You are very wrong. Paul clearly stated that the wife being made for the man makes her the inferior by nature. Most importantly Eve was made from a rib taken from Adam. When you give up a thing in order to gain something else, you are buying. That something else becomes your property. Eve and hence all wives are slaves by Yah's decree in Genesis. That is why God gave many wives to the men of Israel. The man were not accountable to their wives hence could have other women. While women on the other hand could not even marry without their virginity. If they tried to hide their past on their wedding day they got stoned (duet 22). Im a guy here and my biggest struggle is im not naturally dominant at all. Im too submissive so i cant really be a godly husband abd father because i battle low self esteem and no confidence. I font feel masculine at all. I dont know how to be masculine snd my manhood is just broken by default. Guys are supposed to be big, strong and tough well im neither of those things so im not a man.

He is who is supposed to and should be the head of man and who should be loved first foremost and most of all so that each person can love each other with love tht comes only from God. There is no other way. It is God who does teach every one and who can really and knows best how to guide correct teach and guide home redirect to Him and His ways and good Holy will a man and also women and all in His way will and perfect timing only He knows best that is true. You are very wrong. Paul clearly stated that the wife being made for the man makes her the inferior by nature. Most importantly Eve was made from a rib taken from Adam. When you give up a thing in order to gain something else, you are buying. That something else becomes your property. Eve and hence all wives are slaves by Yah's decree in Genesis. That is why God gave many wives to the men of Israel. The man were not accountable to their wives hence could have other women. While women on the other hand could not even marry without their virginity. If they tried to hide their past on their wedding day they got stoned (duet 22). Party for the husband, chastity for the women.

The Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians 5 that marriage is supposed to be a living picture of the relationship between Christ and the church where the husband plays the role of Christ and the wife plays the role of the church. What you have described above does not really match that picture. You might give that some consideration.

Many women are in marriages they consider bad because they are not being obedient to the word of God in how they treat their husbands. The last part of 1 Peter Chapter 2 tells us that we are all going to suffer in this life and in fact we are called to it. The key is that we make sure we are suffering for doing what is right (what God tells us to do). That way, it brings us favor from the Lord. In the very next breath (1 Peter 3:1) he says: "In the same way, you wives, be subject to to your own husbands so that even if any of them are disobedient to the word, they may be won without a word by the behavior of their wives, as they observe your chaste and respectful behavior." Question: Were you suffering in a bad marriage for being obedient to the word of God in how you treated your husband? If so count it joy that you have gained favor with God. If however, you were suffering for doing what was wrong, (being uncooperative, contentious and disrespectful) then you just reaped what you sowed. In other words, you got what you deserved. That said, bad marriages are not exclusive to women. In our current society there are many fold more men being abused in marriage than women in our so-called "justice" system with no-fault divorce and ungodly judgments in the courts.

The definition of submission that i like best is "power under authority." Jesus, even in His great power, put his ability under God's authority.

Abigail and Esther in the Bible acted out of their own free will to save their people. They had farsightedness of the danger that their husbands could not see. While I understand your premise, wives and their insights should be valued and men should honor those insights as a gift from God.

Abigail's husband wasn't a Godly man, so it's okay for her to lead in that case. Generally speaking in a Godly marriage, the husband would lead, but that doesn't mean he doesn't listen to his wife's advice and suggestions. If God is referred to as our helper and we seek him for help, then of course, our wife, who is also referred to as our helper, can help us make decisions💕

As a man its sad to see videos like these with little views. Meanwhile videos on how to be argumentative and tear down your home and destroy your family and kids will get more views. Modern society has programmed a lot of women unwifeable. I pray that God renews our women's hearts to be builders once again. 🙏🏽

Im a man but i dont feel like a real man. Im not tough, big and strong. Im not assertive or dominant. Im terrified of women. They make me feel very uncomfortable so i just stay away from them. Women always act like there scared of everything so just avoid them at all cost. Women always turn me down. God did not make me man at all. I identify as a woman.

This is really sweet. I appreciate this. I’m turning 30 this year and I won’t lie I have an itch to get married and have 6-12 kids. I would love a sweet lady who wants the same. I won’t lie I’m scared of intimacy and also of my role as provider. But I’m a new Christian and I’m learned that that God will provide & that no man or woman is enough for another. You buy 20lb bags of rice and 20lb bags of flour. You buy a 1/2 cow at a time. She cooks, makes homemade bread. You get a small place and get bunkbeds for all the kids. Shop of thrift stores. I want to live that way anyway while I build wealth so that’s no problem for me. Have a nice day buddy! You should have more hope & faith. I believe in you! Plus I’ll be honest and say I don’t earn any money right now. I’m returning to work after getting crushed by a machine so I want to get a job and get my life together and save some money for a bit first.
