I had to laugh and moan about your "bedtime story!" My "adult" son has Down Syndrome, and though growing up in his own way in many ways, bedtime is still this repetitious struggle that sometimes with no explanation i can find, becomes nearly impossible. It, too, is a cycle. I can laugh a bit now, thank you! The point is that we tend to focus on the struggles, not the ultimate victory. I think what i gleaned especially over the last 5-6 years and from your message...We see in the Bible and life, patterns in life (all of creation and daily life in every way)... governments, incredible struggles, and those who overcame persecution by the culture and governments. Our personal struggles and victiries wiithin these patterns is what we see, too, with God's help. Power struggles (beasts and antichrists) and pride and cruelty within cultures, continue in the same patterns over history as well as persecution; yet, we see, too, a remnant that comes through who love the LORD. They are not perfect, but faithful; and God is perfect and always faithful to us. Rebellion, arrogance, and lack of care of the helpless, is death to these cycles, downfall of generation after generation. There are many antichrists over the centuries and cultures that just crumble because of their contempt for God and good. Narcissism as a driving disorder almost seems to me, genetic...sons of the devil. These are highly intelligent, manipulative people who cannot see or do good unless it serves an evil purpose. It opens a whole new group of questions for me about free will...choice. True narcissists tend to work themselves into powerful positions in every part of cultures until they eventualy self destruct or someone assassinates them. They seem impervious to justice. You did not mention this, but it is what i have seen Biblically and in my long life. And as Ukraine seems to be crumbling before our eyes by yet another antichrist power, i see it again. God will hear the tortured cries of His people eventually and Putin will fall. He is even at this moment, if the pattern holds. But, another will come. It is hard to watch. But there are miracles happening, too. The definitions of what is good and evil and overcoming is all defined in the Bible. Eventually God will say, "enough!" The number of martyrs He awaits and other events will be fulfilled (in the fulness of time), and we will have destroyed our world beyond repair. God alone can fix it, and when He does, the old patterns will be gone and our propensity to want to be god. The cruelties that now cause mental health tragedies will be gone and the memories that cause aftermath will even be gone. It almost seems a shame that they will be, because how will we appreciate the pure good as we would now? Maybe the sting is gone but the gratitude and celebration of The LORD, in its fullness, will never end...never again be spoiled! I am needing to listen better about dust (evil's end), heaven, ressurrection. I get that focus on Resurrection/Restoration that is the ultimate victory, (they will go to sleep), but i think i am missing something in the death sequence. Death is a painful mystery for those left behind. I think we are missing something(s) so important about it that could help...or not. Most of my friends and family have died. It never fails to stun me. For me personally, i look forward to it, not in a morbid sense, but a victorious sense, but i try to do my best until then because there have been so many times i should have died and the LORD just surprised us and yanked me back again for His purposes i may never understand. I have some big questions Biblically... i would like to grasp, but they are not salvational or essential. Just very curious... I think you found them. Thank you so much. You have helped fill a sad hole in my life. It is good to know others cherish The Word.

I have been following Tim since January 2021. Dense, intellectual and full of Gods love and Jesus’ heart. I am going to be “exiled” for some time due to my decision not to walk in Word. I saw this and tuned in to have strength to live in Jesus and have hope only in God. To become better child of Christ and be more useful for God.

I'm so glad to hear him point out that christianity focus on the resurrection as opposed to heaven.

Well, I made it to the end of Daniel with Tim. I had to listen to a couple of them twice to absorb it all. I must say that I have a new way to approach and look at the book of Daniel. I think Tim is right when he says there is a tendency to overlook the fact Daniel is a story about 4 individuals living in a culture opposed to their way of God-centered life and how they lived for God in spite of the beast. At least I think Tim said that😁.

We have been sleeping brothers and sisters, when the serpant reappeared under the name of Muhammed. To cast those who believe into slavery, and to cast those who don't into fire. Study the Quran, it explains CLEARLY, why the terrorism we see today is just a continuous irradiation of Christian and Jewish values. Love them, teach them for they know not of what is in their books. This is our age, and this is our responsibility.
