It's not about the capacity of the Note 20 Ultra, It's about it's ability to share power, no matter how small, to your beloved iPhone when it runs out, or perhaps Apple promised you guys that it'll never run out. Open your heart guys. Apple is a solid phone, no doubt, but Samsung is just a bit more.

You’re using an iPhone Pro and saying it’s the same as a Pro Max, it’s obvious you’re a Samsung used and there’s nothing wrong with that but don’t speak on things you don’t have knowledge of. Don't forget my favorite function of the s pen. The ability to take photos of myself without seeing my arm outstretched to the edge of the pic! The ability to walk away from my phone and use the s pen to take group photos with everyone in it and no fussing with a timer was a game changer for me.

Apple has always been behind in terms of innovation. Apple has without a doubt the most loyal customers. Apple can release the same phone 2 years straight and they will still buy the phone. The only pro of iPhone is the home layout. For android it looks outdated.

Samsung there already have plan to make a phone with zero ports, made a foldable phone and were the first phones to support 5G network

I remember attending a conference in Indy and we had to take a group photo. I used my Samsung S8's front cam, placed it at a good distance, and took a photo using hand gesture...and everyone in the room, mostly Iphone users, was in awe. They were shocked at what I just did with my phone.

DON'T GET THE NOTE 20! IT feels completely cheap and there is nothing special about it. If you absolutely need the pen, then go for it. Otherwise, it feels cheap and looks ugly in person. The 12 pro max feels superior, the colors are bolder, the whole experience is MUCH better than the note. I have both phones.

Sure is refreshing to see someone who's not biased at all, gives us his objective perspective and puts the things straight.
Wireless power sharing helped out alot to charge my family and friends phones and alot of them switched to Samsung or upgrade because of that feature alone. After I explained to them how it can also charge their headphones as well.

They will add in a feature from Samsung but most recently removed a headphone jack and now a phone charger from the package. I wonder what's next? It is like Apple adds in an amazing feature but at the same time removes a freaking minor feature!

This is suicidal for Apple! As an [Apple fan] I had tears in my eyes watching this video. Galaxy Note 20 Ultra can charge Apple devices including the iPhone 12 Pro or Pro Max, and not the other way around. It is the biggest insult and humiliation sustain by a company in tech history. Sadly, in the rest of the world, this device comes without 5G, less RAM, and with an Exynos CPU instead of the Snapdragon, which means subpar quality in performance, photos, and videos, compared with the US version. In my opinion, this is where Samsung fails, and why Apple always comes on top, especially the rest of the world. Because Samsung always releases different models everywhere, whereas Apple offers a single unified product that's easier for developers to work and optimize. In the end, it doesn't matter the design nor all the gimmicks a manufacturer adds to their devices. It always amounts to two things: 1. how smooth your device works in terms of performance, and 2. how good the pictures and videos look. And even with the admittedly lack of innovation of the current generation, Apple still excels in these two regards compared to any other manufacturer in the world.

Totally agree with you, I abandoned Samsung for this exact reason, my last device was a note 8. Bought iphone 12 after 12+ years with Android, had some difficulty with the closed system in the first week but now I'm starting to like it. And I don't have to worry for updates, Samsung sucked so hard.... I really used to love Samsung but now I don't really like what they are doing.

The Galaxy S10 is the last Samsung Flagship with a headphone jack, the newer flagships do not have them.
The spen was a lifesaver, it helped me cheat by checking the last minute notes.

I am a note20U user but lets be honest here. Apple has very good cameras and the messenger is also very good. Samsung wins with 120hz plus 12gigs of ram, sd card slot, customization and the 865+ beats A14 in independent lab tests but the iphone 12 pro (max) is still an incredible phone. Technology has come so fast you can't go wrong with any flagship. Last thing which someone already said was artistic and many professionals use an eco system and lets face it, macs are macs. I have both a note 20 ultra 512gb, and an iPhone 12 pro max 256 and ill say that my iPhone feels much more premium and smooth than the note but the note has more capabilities.
Loving my note 20 ultra so far. Any glass protectors you recommend? This is my second 20 ultra first dropped and cracked. screen was done so had to file insurance claim pay that high ass deductible and get a "new" ultra. Anyway, any good screen protectors you recommend? That gorilla thing is definitely just a gimmick
You forgot to mention the difference in display size, it gives yet another advantage to the Note 20 Ultra.

@@fpevdm9758 yeah he mentioned it at the start as well. This is the iPhone 12 Pro, not the max variant but they are almost the same phone that's why the comparison should be roughly the same. The Pro Max model actually hasn't even been released yet, I believe the pre-orders start on the 6th of November.

For Samsung users in the US, yep it is really awesome. You can say that the Note 20 is years ahead of the iPhone. But with the international (Exynos) version, now that's a different story. Until Samsung fixes this absurd issue, they will remain one of those phone manufacturers that I really don't trust.

Well I think it’s depend on the personal preference. If you like heavily customise on your phone then go for android, if you are someone who is comfortable and no need for customising then iPhone. Performance wise, both phones are awesome.

Since Apple supports their devices, in some cases 5 plus years, you get more updates and basically a new phone each year. My iPhone 10 is almost three years old and is just as fast as the Galaxy S20 and still looks brand new and on the latest iOS and runs all the latest apps just like the current iPhones. So price per performance definitely goes to iPhone.

But, with this they can make users stay in their trap longer, and being brainwashed to try their services and their ecosystem, users day by day being lead to spend more n more without them even knowing, that's scary plus a great moves to profits even from a small things. The Qualcomm 5G modem they use is not cheap, the Samsung display they use is not cheap. The device has to be assembled and mass distributed which isn’t cheap. Plus R&D that’s involved. But the device is only costing them $280. LOL

Initially, I thought the iphones look really good because of the design cues taken from iPhone 4 which I really loved. But then when place along the Note 20 ultra or most of 2020 flagship phones, it look kinda dated specially that eyesore huge notch. Just want to point out, the S-Pen is one thing i can't do without, it is the biggest advantage over any other phone including other Samsung smartphones specifically the Fold.

I used the note 20 ultra and returned it to Best Buy 1 week later. Never used the s pen as it’s pointless gimmick and Samsung software is badddddd, ads in all the Samsung apps and stand by time is awful, I love my 12. You’ve clearly never owned an iPhone as you don’t even realize the notch is there when using it

Where I come from the Telco has insurance so that's where I get mine from. My son did too and he dropped his brand new phone and busted the screen. They just gave him a new phone. At the time it was a Galaxy s8.

@@MD-wz8uz I love them both, but in fact the 800 nit iPhone 12 pro is actually no where close to 1000nit note20 ultra. iPhone12 pro does brighter in manual mode, but the maximum brightness depends on auto mode. You can check the screen test result in many website like gsm, displaymate and dxo, and results are not gonna lie.

I am hardcore mac fan but this samsung phone changes everything. i really consider to move to samsung but I simply can't because i have many mac products such as iPad MacBook pro mac mini and so on and they all connected and very easy to work with them but if i get this phone it makes things way more difficult. but hey that is a really really good phone

Shouldn't have bought so many apple products in first place, to make it a bit easier for movement or changing of products when needed. Then later people may change minds to go to apple or non apple products, all I can say thats personal issue. Think before doing, crawl before running, but you kinda regret it. I'm a mac fan too, but have the Note 20 Ultra. All that you can do on an iphone can be done, it's just a different way of doing things. If you need to move files, then use Dex--yes, it works on macs.

So i moved from windows to mac os “ very best decision”. I bought iPhone because nothing else could offer anything better, fast and smooth and simple who wants more? Other phone might be better or has more power on paper but in work nothing works as smooth as mac eco system because of their well polished operation system. So yes I happily stick with macs just wishing iPhone design was as cool as Samsung.

Even my note 10 plus is better than the iPhone 12. But Apple fanboys are so excited for the revolutionary "widgets", Which have been in Android for ages. Don't let them watch these video 😂

Yess, apple fans are soo left behind about new features on iphone, the widgets actually have been a long time ago on Android, i'm kinda laugh out loud when apple fans are so freaking happy finally get the widgets, hahaha 🤣

@@mrmarvelous6715 better widgets? How so? Last time I check, it’s just an enlarged app that shows thing. In android you can do create it with whatever you want and put it wherever . You have so many things to choose yet you chose the thing that Apple is 8 years late Better face regconition? You can’t even use it rn so you are stuck with passcode all the time.
