sometimes i used my dumper experience as reference to my current dumpee situation , i remember when i broke up with my uni classmate. he was very needy and clingy and i didnt have emotional feelings for him at the beginning, to me it was a mistake i shouldnt commit to a relationship without thinking carefully , and i was young , anyway , after i broke up with him , the first feeling just as podcasts said : relief , freedom indeed , and my mind was like i finally could play video games on weekends , at the first 4 months , i didnt think about anything or any serious relationship , even i went on dates but my mind was like : i'm sick of in something serious , we didnt know what is NC at that age though , he reached out many times i couldnt remember for now , but when i saw his msg the first feeling came to my mind was more like ads notification , like KZread or email sending you something you never gonna open, i think thats one of reasons of slience , maybe they are busy with feeding dragons and play their magic sowrd in the games lol , and during the 4 months my mind was fully with GTA5 and Dragon Age, i dont know how he been through the first 4 months but i was really happy with gaming , then life got bored , and i did reached out to him , you guys may wanna know when i finally reached out to him , i think its really after a long time maybe like 6-10 months dont remember which number is just quite long, not over a year that way when i saw him got a bit fit from his social media photos and there's a thought like we havent talked for a long time so i asked how's he been doing , but after a few talks i felt he's still the same person still stubborn , so its kinda cut off all the idea of going back with him again , it may not a good reference to someone who has an ex really loves them, i never in love with this guy though so i think i didnt have dumper sad stage or shocked stage , no matter he reached out or not , but if someone really loved you i think their timeline and feelings during the break up maybe more complicated

It’s hard when you care and love someone to experience all this. We were together 6 years, engaged to be married in the fall, watched her daughter grow up from 6-12 years old, all these things make it even more brutal when they walk out on you. It has been nearly 4 months now and I think the thing that hurts me the most is that I have no clear, definitive answer. I have been improving myself physically, mentally, and emotionally. Going to the gym, running a lot, started hobbies I enjoy doing again. I can feel such a positive change. We all need to realize that if we were the ones dumped that we were basically told we were not good enough and if and when they do come back they will have to prove themselves to us and earn there way back into our new lives. After all, they broke our heart. We are the prize, never forget that!

Your are good enough my friend, you simply no longer suit your exes requirements. It doesn’t mean you won’t suit someone else’s requirements. The thing is , you do have the answers. They left and that’s the only closure any of us need. It’s just our imaginations likes to think there is more to it when in fact there isn’t. I know that’s brutal but I tell the truth so you can move forward. You’ll be fine my friend. Feel your feelings, it’s okay. But don’t stay there too long. You’re doing great. I hope you feel better.

6 months into a breakup after a 8 year relationship ( I got dumped for the first time at 35 ). I am at the point where I can put myself in the dumpers shoes and almost feel pity for them. I'm starting to think that it's better to be a dumpee then the dumper. The dumpee gets over it while the dumper always look back on the decision that they ultimately made. The dumpee has the upper hand in the long run. Especially if they go on to deal with more failed relationships... and 90% of relationship fail.

As the dumpee, we need the silence to grieve and if the dumper doesn’t contact you-that’s a good thing. If anything it’s helping you lose feelings for them. If someone doesn’t want you-that should be the biggest off putting scenario ever. It always catches up with then-and it will be when you’re healing and moved on. The dumper doesn’t deserve our thoughts and more importantly our love. I’ve been the dumper and the dumpee. I’m staying silent in my current situation. I want him to see that the grass isnt greener, because it won’t be. I was his first love and he wanted a baby and marriage. I will never reach out to him. Never. If he ever wants to talk to me/he comes to me. Then it will be too late-and he will go through the process I did at the beginning

Your last comment did it for me. You didn't hear from your ex and you're glad because it would set you back 6 months. Well my love left me 8 months ago after 6 years living together in utter bliss, so I thought. . Apart from business I haven't heard from her. I don't expect to and it really hurts like i've never experienced before. But if I was to hear from her and it was a negative and I was set back 6 months I'm not sure I would survive. I am only now just managing to see her as a heartless, selfish bed hopping vulture. But I'd still take her back. Pipe dreams I guess. Am looking for a new love now ... but I'm 64 ( albeit a young and fit 64 ) and it's not easy.

Yes and no but there is no way they can perceive your version of reality. Everyone’s version of reality is unique to the person and the situation. But I will say this. Biologically, women do not respond well to begging and pleading. They seek safety and leadership from men. Begging and pleading is the opposite of that, and they may explain her reaction to you. Or She’s just an avoidant and a bitch and just not that nice of a human being. Only your ex knows the truth from that perspective.

Second I didn't see a SINGLE channel talk about what happens when friends have a say into her/his decision and influence her. I know this because when we broke up I wanted to go "suprise" her and texted her colleague to help me in which he responded threatening me and telling me how she can do better and all that crap. Yet I've known her since we were 5 year olds... Sorry for the alt acc, I just don't wanna risk it with my main account in case she sees it.

She dumped me because she had problems that she wanted to figure out alone. She was a relationship addict. Furthermore, she never faced the pain of a break-up and never really moved on. I was the first good guy she met, and one day she realized this guy wants to stay, and I could imagine him staying. But she didn't know if it was because she loved me or because she can't be alone. She said what she feels for me is real and because of that she has to figure it out, or she would forever ask herself if this is really her or her pain that she tries to shut off. From that moment on the whole relationship didn't felt right any more even though I was the right one (at least she said so). She should never have dated in the first place. Every decision she ever made was with someone else in her mind. She had to change that. The sad part is, she got that idea from me, because I made her question her past, her mental health and so on. She didn't say that, but the timeline fits the conversation we had. The day after that, things were different. A week later it was over. That is why it is so hard to move on for me.

same here, just be happy that you were able to have a positive impact on someone's life journey. If you were truly good she will always look back and smile when she thinks of your impact. Just because it didn't go all the way does not mean it was worthless. You and her both will learn and grow from this and God will guide you to the one for you. I believe in you bro.

I am simply not important while someone or people that said she is Sexy and hot means more than when I say exactly the Dame Words from my Heart…I am now realizing that this is not a healthy relationship…My words are Zero to them …other men and their words are Everything they think they want…I am adult…got to accept the truth and move on…

ITS HARD! I loved her! I treated her good. I cared about her family! What she ate, etc.. She kept me dangling for a whole year but I had this strong feeling there was someone else. She always tell me that she does not want to lose me. But... I was guided to find out I WAS RIGHT! I loved her - I gave her a chance. I wanted to believe she was sorry - I was fooling myself. 7 months later she told me she was going to a wedding with her sister. But I've noticed she has no IG stories posted & that was strange. I thought to myself, what if she blocked me from her stories. I borrowed a friends phone and to my surprise, she has STORIES to view. SHE GOT ENGAGED to the same guy from before. She always wanted to travel. She followed the money & a dream. She's still on vacay for 2 weeks already and he's taken her to about 5 different countries! Forget love - it's all about the money. I'm getting better! I loved her - I cared about her. I loved everything about her. !!!UPDATE!!! A few days after her return, she DM me a stupid joke. I replied, "I'm confused, I think you sent this to the wrong person". She replied, "Oh shidd, ur rite, sorry about that".!!!! I KNOW IT WASN'T BY ACCIDENT!!!

Take a step back and analyse what you just typed. Do you think this is worth that amount of mental and emotional energy?
