This set is such a refreshing change from the usual boats, fish and mountains stamp sets. It's different and like you say, can be used for masculine or feminine cards as well as teenage cards. I love it. Love the subtle colors you used.

What a great card! My sons would love it and they are picky young adults. My tip for masculine cards is to look at what stamps and dies you have and try your adapt them to a masculine theme. Choosing natural sets (seaside, forest) allows you to make cards for everyone.

That stencil 🤩 I need Silver Lining in my life! Love Easy Breeze too! I am in so much trouble 😱 I love all the sets you used! The jig technique is truly a time ( and sanity) saver. I agree, I tend to go for the pretty stamps first, but at least once every semester I try to get a set that can be either masculine or non gender-specific. This is a great card! Definitely could work for men, women, boys, and girls! I agree that making "masculine" stuff is hard - at least for me, but that's because most of my supplies are suitable for scrapbooking pictures of my daughter!

The stencils are so fun! Great to create a card for kids or men. I don't usually find it to hard to create masculine cards ' usually lean towards leaves or scenery and blue/greens.

Great demo! Another idea is to use a skinny alphabet die set to add "Dude", "Bruh", "Dad" etc. to standard sentiments like Happy Birthday, congrats, etc. This helps with the masculine definition of the card.

Love the way you used the jig to stamp the checker pieces! Such a great card design, and good choice for a masculine card. I can usually get away with making scene cards for the guys, or even cards with cat images. The couple of men I create cards for both are cat lovers.

Your reason #3 really struck a chord - In fact he truth is most people will just love getting a card - especially a handmade one. The thought and sentiment is what matters. I have a lot of loved ones who are men to make cards for and I have given them flowers and butterflies as often as geometrics and cars /golf / wine bottle themed cards. Now I just make a pretty card and not worry about it. OTOH I do love the chess card so much bc my son loves the game:-) but we really should worry less and just create more. Thank you for the beautiful card and the positive message!

What a fun card! I love this stamp set and the sentiments! I have a husband and two adult sons and the cards that I make them sometimes match their hobbies and sometimes don't. I create what I feel like creating (sometimes bright colors, sometimes childish cards). They love all of them!

I seriously love this set. That checkered stencil would make a great tiled floor for a background scene, too. I honestly have no issues with masculine cards and have no problem sending my dad cards with flowers on it.

Love masculine cards! I have two boys and am always looking for ideas. I recently just made a masculine card with tree and deer silhouette stamps with Kraft and navy card stock. I was inspired by Gina k video and am so proud of the card. I was amazed at myself 😂

Your card looks fab! It's nice to have some products that are different than floral (though floral is my fav) I think 'guy' cards are hard, but your right--it really doesn't matter. People appreciate getting fun mail--no matter what it looks like. 😂

Hi Charlene, I am happy I watched this video. The struggle is real. I appreciate the 5 tips. I tend to overthink things. I will talk my self out of making a card and just buying one because Hallmark has tricked me into believing they can do better. Well now handmade cards win.🤣🤣🤣

I do often find it helpful to look for something I know the recipient likes when making a card. If I do not know the recipient that well, I find anything geometric is a good fallback for masculine cards.
