5 Raspberry Pi Alernatives For Klipper Under $50
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I go over 5 different SBC's that are fully capable of running Klipper for your 3D Printer. Below are links to check prices and to learn more aqbout them from the manufacturers. As of the publication of this video on 10/9/22, all these boards are available to purchase under $50. That of course can change....

I use an Orange Pi 3 LTS on my Voron and it’s a solid little board.
I just connect a self powered USB hub when limited in the ports.
Makerbase MKS-PI link goes to wrong site
Thank you for the video Guy. Any chance you could provide a step by step on installing klipper onto the Radxa zero?
The CB1 doesn’t support the CSI or DSI ports. The adapter has those ports on it because it’s compatible with the CM4 which will work. They will not do anything if you use the CB1 on the adapter.

Yes, you are correct on that. I found out after I tried to actually use them. I contacted Biqu and they confirmed it.
Those are some good alternatives. I wound up going to CanaKit, which tends to have some Raspberry Pis in stock, but you have to buy their complete kit. However, even with the ultimate kit, it is cheaper than buying from a scalper, and having a decent case, proper power supply, and such isn't a bad thing. Not sure why there is still such a shortage on Raspberry Pis, even now. The 4 came out in June 2019, and hasn't really been upgraded, while previous to that, the 3B+ came out just a year before. Klipper looks like interesting firmware. I've used Marlin for years, but it is interesting what Klipper brings to the table.
If sites like Amazon and others would work with Raspberry Pi in eliminating scalpers we could get Pi's flowing again. They keep buying them up and are sneaky to get past what they have been trying to do to limit purchase quantities. I don't think you can put the normal Pi image on the BTT due to kernel differences. I do like the new BTT M8P with onboard module, am contemplating swapping out my Octopus for an MP8 to reduce wiring on my dual extruder/dual Z belt custom Ender I built. Got a pile of wires/GPIO on that thing to tie them all together.

I agree. The Pi4/CB1 combo manual says that you can load the Raspi images on them, however I didn't try. Biqu has a complete image with everything preinstalled, so it is a much easier way to go.
Mellow made a fly pi very similar to the maker base
Your MKS-PI link is broken and redirecting to pushing & spam link.

They're not broken, it was intentional, that much is obvious.
Thanks for this Note that the radxa tinyurl links don't work.
can the Big Tree Tech Pi4B/CB-1 work with a skr 1.4 turbo as standalone?
