The shoe thing can not be understated, especially if you do the parks as well during the day. I bought the ugliest hiking sandal things because they dry out on water rides and were supposed to be comfortable for long hours. I think my feet gave out around hour 16 which wasn’t too shabby! I make the fatal error of choosing style over comfort a lot but I’m glad I wore the weird footwear that day lol Also, no one is looking at your feet so always go comfort! You can always crop your feet out of pictures 😂

I've always loved the evenings in the parks. Some of my absolute favorite times were closing out at Disney at 3am. I'd be all in on a park that stayed open around the clock or only closed for a few hours to separate the evening/am goers from the morning/day goers.

That’s so exciting!! I personally wouldn’t take a kid that’s never experienced a haunted house to the event. It’s definitely an adult event, and it could get overwhelming. At the very least, he should see all the movies that the houses are based off of first!

I am way to much of a chicken to do HHN. I’ll be there in sept and going to not so scary in Disney instead. Maybe one day I’ll be brave. But until then I’ll just live through you and enjoy HHN through your vids.

I worked security last year for HHN 30 and it it very important to get in a lock-down area early because you will get escorted out of the park if you’re not in the designated area ahead of time. I would personally walk people to the best area to be locked down. In the New York area is best because you have Finnegan’s bar to access for drinks! Not get locked down in the Central Park area, you will be standing in the open sun with no shade. That the best tips I could give you! Looking forward to HHN 31!!! Stay hydrated!!!

Naps before HHN is a must. Also the shoe thing is a must, after living there and going to the parks so often a good broke in shoe is a must. So much that I'm breaking in my barefoot sandals and zero drop shoes for the long walking in December. Hope we see y'all under the Christmas lights.

Hi - Thanks for another great video! I wanted to ask you about the "Scareactor Dining Experience". I don't know if you've tried that yet, but I was thinking it might be an option for reducing the amount of time we spend standing in the Stay and Scream area. We have daytime tickets so we'll be in the park earlier in the day. I'm hoping that after dinner they release you into one of the Stay and Scream areas since it'll be after 5:00, but I haven't gotten confirmation of that. If it works like I hope, I'm thinking that instead of just standing in Stay and Scream for hours we can spend some of that time eating and then join into the waiting area. Does that sound right? I also wanted to ask if the Stay and Scream areas fill up. Do they reach a certain capacity and then turn people away? Thanks again.

Hi Mark! I believe Tyler has done the scare actor dining at some point, but I have no idea about how the early dining times work! That would be a great question to call and ask Universal. If so, that’d be a great plan, too! As far as capacity goes, in the past, they’ve opened up a third stay and scream area as overflow!

No, it won’t! You have to have a daytime ticket to the parks or an annual pass to get into stay and scream. Stay and scream is just a holding area inside of Universal Studios so if you don’t have a ticket to get in during the day, you can access it.

Great video, since this will be our first time I'm sure this will be helpful and I haven't seen any other videos on you tube like it. Can resort guests at deluxes get into stay and scream from the hotel or do they need to go from the park?

You have to go to the park! Stay and scream is inside Universal Studios, so you’ll have to entire that park to get in there!

Please also cover the Universal Hotel entrance for HHN. We got to interact with the stilt walkers before they went for gate entry last year

May I suggest do try entering a house where you can barely see what's happening at least once? The experience can be unpredictable and amazing! once I got stuck in a dark room full of fog and strobe lights and the most logical thing I could come up with to do was to yell for help... a TM led me by hand to the house's exit. It was fun. My cries for help would have beat Neve Campbell. HHN!

If you don't mind standing around some, doing two nights and taking advantage of stay and scream is a good tactic. Then you don't put all your eggs in one basket in case it rains, too. That’s so exciting!!

This year I have the frequent fear pass, so I don't feel the need to do stay and scream, and do all houses in one day, I also love to get to the park when is in full HHN mode, but maybe ill try it one of the days when is darker out and less hot.

That's the best! We're super excited to be able to drop in for a few houses each week since we're locals now. We'll do the full night for opening weekend, but after that it'll just be a few houses each night!

Haha no, the Islands food tour was! This is our first HHN video as Orlandoans, though! We can’t wait for the event either, it’s so close!!

Last year we were walking to the entrance from in front of hard rock cafe and some TMs asked if we were going to HHN and we said yes. so they had us come in an entrance that we ended up going in like under RRR. Can't wait for this year. will be there Oct 13th.

Oh yeah, that's the old blue man group entrance. They open it up from time to time! That's so exciting, we hope you have a fantastic time at this year's event!!

You know what's even cooler? Wear an eye patch that looks really cool. That's why pirates wear them for when they go below deck which is darker than on deck

Hi pugh two We have just purchased Premier annual passes for the first time and are coming over from the UK in middle of October until the middle of November for our annual holiday. I have couple of questions we know there is a pass holders lounge in universal studios but is there one in islands of adventure? Question 2 if we see you are you approachable or are you best left alone as we know you are actually working ( I may be bearing a gift ie butter beer lol) keep up the good work love the videos so much good information Sorry if this is the wrong place to post

Hi David! That’s so exciting! To answer your questions: 1. No, there isn’t a passholder lounge in Islands. 2. We’re always happy to say hello if you run into us! No need for any gifts! Lol we hope you have a fantastic time on your trip!!

universal California closes the park prior to opening for the horror nights. So you can't walk around and eat prior. Plus purchase front of line tickets.....very expensive but worth it if you don't want to spend all night waiting.

I wish I had realized I should wait for the multi night pass. I have a premier pass and bought 2 other nights opening. Weekend. Really wish I’d just gotten frequent fear because im coming back for Halloween too!!

Oh no, don’t worry!! You can call and upgrade your single night tickets to multi day tickets! Just call Universal and they’ll be more than happy to help you with that!!

@@ThePughTwo turns out I bought them from Tickets at Work. Oh well. This is a rebuilding year. Next year I’ll know. I’m a sucker for a discount and now I’m burned. Didn’t stop me from booking the 31st though. ☠️☠️☠️
