This is a pretty well-known trick, but if you take a cd and put it by a window or a flashlight you can shine rainbows on your model. :)
Cool ideas. I'd watch out for the laser pointer. You don't want to shoot those into the eye.

Use a fast lens or just use shallow depth of field, or best, blur it in postprocessing
Laser? Sensor? Could you explain why it is written laser damages camera sensor? Laser power? Wavelength?
