The third pair, the round ones are really beautiful with the adaptive sun tint that you use. Good taste👌🏻🔥

Gold color hardware, hinges, screws, accents, etc. really classes up a pair of eyeglasses even though much of it isn’t visible when worn. Maybe that’s why I like my Clubmasters so much.😎

Glasses with distinctive brow lines (eg: aviator style frames) or a different coloured bridge (eg: metal bridge with acetate around the lenses), or gold coloured titanium frames/ orange coloured acetate frames, or rimless glasses with gold coloured metal bridge/ temples, suit your face really well Robert :)

Love this! What tint and flash coating do you recommend on following two. JMM Schindler in Lava (dark Tortoise) JMM Ichikawa in Black Trying to decide on tint/flash coating combo. Or should I just do flash coating and not tint?

Amazing video. Had no idea about the tint preview software/ hardware. I wonder if you do a video showcasing all the colors and tint combos that would be super helpful for someone like me who can’t make it to your shop because I’m in another country. Cheers!

With blue and gold, what about a blue and gold tint combination, either blue photofusion with amber flash or brown photofusion with sapphire flash

What's the model reference of the third pair? The round ones, they look gorgeous

A great video. Thanks. I have a pair of Ray Bans with Style Mirrors in gold. When inside, do the Flash mirrors have more or very similar amount of colour as Essilor's? A strange question I know.

How do you care for wood frames?Can the temples be wiped wet a damp cloth?

Another interesting video as always! How does the 25% to 0 grey / blue gradients tints alter the perception of colour of things you see?

Very minimally. None of the tints in this video significantly affect colour perception except for the blue PhotoFusion when activated.

Thanks! ✌️If you get Zeiss lenses, those are authentic since Zeiss make most of the lenses for Cartier. They won't have the Cartier logo because a custom tint is yours and the manufacturer's creation, not Cartier's - Cartier aren't a lens manufacturer. The Zeiss lenses would have the Z logo on them which anybody who knows their stuff would recognise as quality - for me it's 1000x more desirable than having any other logo on the lens.

Oh and be wary of anyone selling custom lenses with the Cartier logo - those are definitely fake!

I’ve got that premiere de Cartier black rim lens but with titanium silver finish but liking the gold now. Is there anyway to get Cartier to coat mine with gold instead of buying a completely new one?

Not a website. It's proprietary tech built into the Zeiss Visufit 1000.

does cartier themselves make authentic tinted lenses or are there only aftermarket tinted lenses from cartier dealers?

Good question. So it depends what you define as 'authentic'. They do a very limited amount of tints and shapes that you can get direct from Cartier. Mostly they are made by Zeiss. Now if you get a custom Zeiss lens, you are basically getting an authentic Cartier lens, because that's who makes them for Cartier. But they won't have the Cartier logo on the lenses. Firstly, irrespective of everything else I always prefer my lenses to not have a logo. But if you do get a custom lens with the Cartier logo, that's how you know it's not legit because Cartier only put their logo on a very limited range of lenses. Hope all that makes sense.

Generally, we will fit Zeiss lenses who will do the tint in Germany - that's who makes the majority of the stock Cartier lenses

We're in the North West of England, but we ship all over the world every day.

the problem with photochromic lenses is that they could never get to level 3 darkness when you are out in full sunny day. the most you can get from them is level 2 darkness.

That's just not true. I don't know which photochromic you've tried but Transitions, PhotoFusion and Sensity all go to full sunglass level (85%)

Thanks for the feedback. Each pair has at least one photo showing close up of the frame which appears on screen. Can you let me know what other kind of photos you would have preferred?
