So I’m guessing a small update that will cause lot of people to hate it. I WANT MORE POWER AND GRAPHICS.

I REAAAAALLY HOPE. LIke with all my heart that the entire switch library will be transferrable to the new console. The games I've got on my switch are one of my favorite games of all time, and it would be so cool if I could just install them on the new console and get a higher resolution and frame rate. Like zelda totk and botw at 4k60fps, or even just 1080p60fps and I'd be super happy

I hope a lot of my Switch games will get free 60fps performance updates, and not a 10 buck upgrade or god forbid another 60 buck version of the same game.

I've said it before but Nintendo has been very smart when it comes to this next console. If Sony and Microsoft had'nt rushed out their new consoles during a goddamn pandemic there's a good chance alot of the problems their having now would not be happening. Nintendo meanwhile chose to ride out the whole thing especially as the Switch was still selling well so they had no reason to worry about the new console. And as this has just confirmed they paid close attention to how things went for the other two companies and took their time to get this right. Now their in such a good position that it has some real potential to make Sony and Microsoft look really stupid, even more than their already managing to do all by themselves right now.

Is that stock footage real in the beginning? Like the Switch 2 Trailer?

it's most likely some fan made concept

the only thing i really expect is the switch again but with a 1080p screen, potentially 4k in docked mode, 60fps on most games where it makes sense like botw and totk and smo, able to run games better, and backwards compatible with the switch. something i REALLY want is for streetpass to come back, and them to add achievements like playstation, xbox, and steam have.

1080p screen on a mobile 7-8" device is just a waste of pixels space compare to 720p, it will make the games run slower and use more battery life. Being able to play games in 4k would require a lot of raw power which would further reduce the battery life and increase the costs. Would you pay $1000USD for a witch with those specs?

I'm hoping the Nintendo switch 2 will have 60fps for all games docked and undocked and 4k would be so nice on the go and bring back menu music and store music or make custom music and I want a feature to live stream without a capture card like with twitch and KZread and add your own backgrounds to your home screen or your profile picture like Xbox has and make a Nintendo app where you can play games from any device like Xbox cloud gaming also I don't know if dlss will be able to work with undocked I think it is only docked add better controllers with no stick drift add a new kick stand add quick resume like the Xbox series x add a camera and add back the pen feature add a way to voice chat with friends and send messages and if possible they should make the Nintendo switch 2 have 120hz or fps for all games to make it an even better console

Electromagnetic joysticks. Analog triggers. Backwards compatibility. Improved performance. That's all I want in the Switch 2. If it's true and it will have these features, it is a day-one purchase for me.

one thing that they should do is ditch the dock and make it connect to an external screen wirelessly via a little device that to plugs into your tv/monitor!

It seems that Nintendo decided to squeeze this 7-year-old Switch version until 2025. Then Switch 2 with Nvidia T239 configuration (as previously leaked) will become "outdated" by 2025 even from before it was officially released to the market.

If that is what the Super Nintendo Switch is going to look like then Nintendo can take my money! The home screen looks great! Also that kickstand looks dope!

I’m going to check that out after I finish Dragon Quest 11. it’s my first time playing RPG’s branching out from Pokémon and I’m loving dragon quest i’m about to bring all six orbs to the first forest. Even though the Nintendo Switch 1's Graphics look just as beautiful as a hypothetical PlayStation 3.5, which is phenomenal enough for me especially when compared to previous consoles like the GameCube and Wii (which already look significantly better than the N64), I still really hope that the Nintendo Switch 2's Graphics will look like a hypothetical PlayStation 4.5, since it would improve the distance from how out-of-sync Nintendo's current generation system/console is from both PlayStation and Xbox, and while I don't anticipate Nintendo Switch 2 to be any more powerful than the PS4-Pro & XboxOneX combined, at the end of the day, matching Graphics & Powers really only matters for third-party titles, because if that Nintendo game is actually first-party, then they don't have to worry about designing a stable version also released for PlayStations & Xboxes as well. The only enhancements for the Switch 2 that really mean a whole lot to me is 60FPS-guarantee and 4K Quality Display/Res. Support for playing Switch 2 on Docked Mode (if not also 8K by extension).

@@esmolol4091 didn't know fps shitshows even existed, especially for first-party Nintendo titles. I never heard any of the older Nintendo generations have big problems with how they're actually making their games 60fps (at least as far as the community has complained to my knowledge), so if 60Hz really does have an issue on Switch 1, then the devs must have been taking some kind of wrong approach. Though I admit I'm not really a big Nintendo researcher here, so this judgement of mine may be based only on what smooth games have I actually experienced thus-far.

@@SebastianGMSFB The experience on the switch isn't consistent. But due to the weak hardware (it's a really small rig) it's understandable that stable 60fps is only possible on very low gpu demanding games. There's a reason why dedicated gpus are so big... Speaking of 1440p or higher, there is absolutely now way that a new switch, being as small as the first one, could render it with more than 30fps IF perfectly optimized. You can't get that in such a small console.

For me, the only thing that will make the console stand up is dual screen and full compatibility with 3ds and ds .(in order to combat the ebay scalpers) .If they release just a updated switch, business wise, I suspect it will be for Nintendo like going from a WII to WiiU and we know how that ended up. It has to be either a new console or go home . Somehow , I suspect it will just be a updated switch and that will be bad as it will make the product average .By the way, dont expect high performance. I think that at best, it will be ps4 pro capability . Current switch is 20% less than a base ps4 so it doesnt make sense to put powerfull gpu due to heat and battery life. It will probably play 4k 30fps on more artistic games like mario and 1080p 60fps on complex games .

Please bring back authentic Pokemon red gameplay games back to Nintendo series and make it so we can play against other online Pokemon trainers. I always dream of playing a Pokemon game that's open world but in the comfort of your home or where ever and grind for months and months to get the best Pokemon and make them strong but battle other trainers and have a record book to do achievements and tasks and challenges

The new handhelds are forcing them to upgrade.

I think a switch 2 would... be a bad thing don't get me wrong, I got a switch and it's great, still is, and that's the issue a lot of people have a nintendo switch, so what's the point of getting a switch 2? It might become like the Wii U, a sequel nobody actually asked for Unless the switch 2 provides INSANE improvements, like controllers, graphics and most of all PERFORMANCE I don't think it'd sell or they go Wii U route again and all newer games will then only come out on the Switch 2

Nintendo Switch DS or Switch 2 to represent two screens. DS and 3DS will get a barebones port to NSO whereas all the big name games will be "remastered" for the new Console and of course sold separately. The Cartridges will be identical to the Switch ones but with a little variation like how the 3DS differed from the DS. Backward compatibility sells me on it and they better allow us to transfer our digital games from Switch to this DS improvement. I am honestly getting burned out from video games now.
