If you wake up surrounded by green grass with sunshine on your face, do not worry………
Yep, great tips... The only one of those I don't keep next to my machine is a good stiff brush, but that's only because I never thought of it. I will for sure start, today (I have a bunch for cleaning the guns I had, before "I lost them in the unfortunate boating accident"). Another thing I can't live without is my rechargeable air blower (like the thing you would use to clean a keyboard, IE, air in a can... but this one is USB chargeable). I use that, if I am not using dust extraction...
Your grandfathers shop is spectacular!!! Loved the vid! My #6 must have is noise cancelling headphones with a decent soundtrack of my favorite music! Stay frosty Kevin!

Absolutely YES on the headphones. And a couple pair, like calipers.
Great video! Nebs need to watch and put their wish list together!!!
Add in a thin metal 18" ruler and we've covered about all the tools lingering at my machine. There are others nearby of course. As a kid we used to nip off the ends of a Red Vine and use it as a straw for our Dr Pepper. I, ahem, heard that still works.

Thanks Drew. Many more videos to come. Inlays are on the list.
Calipers are TOTALLY like glasses..too bad they don't sell them at the dollar store so you could grab a handful every time :-)

Real woodworkers don’t sand at all, they use a finishing plane. 🤓 Having said that, my set of sanding detailer sticks and my sanding mop are clutch and speed up finishing pretty dramatically.
