I have two black tetra and two bosemanis, they are super happy! When I bought the bosemanis the lady at the store had no idea what they were, and said some type of tetra, well I had no clue so bought two of them for like $2 each. Hey man love your channel. You're a Rainbowfish guy and a Tanganyikan guy so I figured I'd throw this question to you. I'm setting up a 60 gallon breeder. It's basically a 75 footprint with the height of a 40 breeder. I want to do gold head comps and some julidochromis marlieri or transcriptus and some dwarf pectricola. Can I put dwarf praecox in as dithers? I originally wanted to do paracyprichromis nigripinnis but figured I needed more height.

I have a Rainbowfish question: I have a 75g planted tank with 3 m/f pairs of different rainbow species (turquoise, millennium red, and parkinsoni). I would like to add more rainbows, my question is do I need to add more of the same species for the health and well being of the fish? My favorite fish to put with Rainbow fish?......................................More Rainbow Fish, of course - All sizes: Threadfin for the tiniest, then Praecox for Mid-sized, finally some of the larger species. This combination takes care of top to mid water range - then throw in some cories and a pleco or two for good measure.💕👍

Swords/platies do well with Rainbows. 2 pipe dreams - Parkinsoni, yellow labs and Synodontis. Also Lake Aytingo boesmani and empire gudgeons Hypseleotris compressa. Rainbow guy does it again.

With a big enough tank you can keep a colony no problem. Once you find mated pair and you specifically wanted to breed. I would keep them 1m/1f

I used to have 2 fully grown angel fish, but 1 of them died. I went to the fish store to buy another angel fish, but he told me that my angel fish would attack the baby angel fish, so instead I bought 1 male Peacock rainbow fish and 2 Albino corydoras. Question. I have a 20-gallon planted tank with an overflow filter. How many rainbow fish and how many corydoras can I have in the 20 gallon tank with my fully grown angel fish? Also, can I add 1 female Kribensis on top of all that? ps. I also have 2 Dwarf Plecos that I never see. lol

How much is that in centimetres? I personally would give each pair 80cm. They can do less but they can be quite stroppy with each other and the most stressed will eventually die.

Its an odd one, but I have my rainbows with a pair of Julidochromis cichlids, the water parameters match and they ignore each other.

Keeping weird mixes makes fish keeping a lot more enjoyable I've kept some very strange combinations and I currently keep peacock eel with a school of glass catfish

@@hezeljudah9618 not much, they made a cave and have stopped digging. Once they have found a home you can start planting.

What were those catfish?

Can Apistogrammas, Rainbow Fish and one redtail shark go together in a 75 gallon tank?

shalom shalom , from singapore you may export , bosemani rainbow fishes , hybrid plecos and bleeding heart tetras , to kolkatta ,india . there is lot of demand of these fishes ,in india ,also .

you didn't mention any species that naturally occur alongside Rainbowfish in any of their localities...
