Big margins, and all since 2010 are one thing, but "most humiliating" in "World Cup history"??? Well then, what about France 0-1 Senegal (2002), Argentina 0-1 Cameroon (1990), Italy 0-1 North Korea (1966) or England 0-1 USA (1950)?

That game was actually painful to watch. I’m not German or Brazilian but that was something horrible to behold and it was in Brazil on top of that. That’s the worst humiliation I’ve ever seen

Sur le côté trop jeune je suis d'accords (y a que des matches récents). En revanche je trouve le Bresil 1 - 7 Germany 1000 fois plus humiliant que le salvador hungry. Là on parle de la meilleure équipe du monde atomisée chez elle en demi quand même... Elle sera dure à battre celle là. Ce matche était juste iréel!

1. For the record World Champion Brazil to loose a semi-final 1-7 at home (even if it is against the second most succesful team / association in the history of world football) is of course much more humiliating than for a lightweight like North Korea to lose 0-7 to heavyweight Portugal. So, the order shouldn't just be according to the highest scores. 2. If, however, you were just looking for highest scores: You missed many higher scores in previous World Cups. In the more recent history, Germany beat Saudi Arabia 8-0 in 2002.

I agree with your observation. The semifinal 2014 was by far the biggest of those in the list, due to the importance of the match and the status of the teams. Humbling North Korea is all fine and well, but not even close to the other match.

@zielaq87. I don't think those you listed are humiliating defeats. The difference between the teams is so great. It's a different league. Even Portugal vs North Korea couldn't be considered humiliating if it wasn't for the politics.
7 : 1 Niemcy - Brazylia to było upokorzenie, ale jednak nr 1 to mecz otwarcia Holandia - Hiszpania i szokujący wynik 4 : 1, dlaczego........... Choćby dlatego że do tego turnieju Hiszpania przystępowała jako obrońca tytułu MŚ, a tu na dzień dobry taki gong, podobnie jak Francja w 2002r

It's so weird, that Spain and Portugal scored 13 goals for one match together, and then both of them lost Morocco, even they couldn't score at least one goal. Was Morocco really so unbreakable?)

Morocco did not qualify in 2014, they failed in the group stage of the qualification. In 2018, Portugal won 1-0 and Spain drew. But they had already qualified at that point and probably held back. I don't find that particularly unusual. Or which World Cup are you talking about?
