You talked about how you feel like you’re going backwards through the steps that led you into burnout. According to the Polyvagal Theory, you literally are. I highly recommend looking into the Polyvagal theory. Especially as someone with PTSD. My favorite resource is The Polyvagal Podcast - it’s been a few years, the name might have changed… “stuck, not broken” might be the new name? The first few episodes go through the theory really well.

I have severe anxiety and people are shocked when they find out. The usual response is "but you're always so happy"... pretty sure if I looked how I felt society would stay away and look at me like I have 2 heads.
