I own a 350 standard twinspark 2012 model. Till date I have been using kick start as there isn't a self start. I haven't faced a single issue with the kick start. My friends have self start and face lot of issues in classic 350

Here are my experiences with Thunderbird 500. Self start: I have NEVER been able to self start my bike - ever for last 7 years - Tried my best, especially after every service but no luck. Silencer: The only redeeming feature of a bullet is its sound. If that is not available, it is very difficult to find a reason to buy any RE vehicle, as taking care of a RE vehicle is NOT worry free and needs a lot of hands-on work, and continued checking and maintenance. After-market lights: If there is ONE things that you absolutely MUST do is get a LED head light or an alternative. The battery drains very fast with stock lamps, and if you drive even 1 hour at night, the battery is drained for the next day. This is the reason I had to drive home from office before sundown for last 5 years, until I got LED lamp attachments. Now there is no limitation on night driving, as I do not use the stock head light at all, and the LED lights are 2 times more brighter. Owning a Royal Enfield vehicle is like a love affair - you must be more than OK sacrificing your time and effort on a daily basis to check for surprise issues.

JayB27, no brother, it has nothing to do with your age or health. To take the Bullet to its center stand, is a technique - not a muscle thing. What you need is a co-ordination of your both hands and leg. Once you learn that technique (in fact there are three or four easy ways to do it) you will agree with me. Same is the story of kick starting as well - no muscle, pure technique.

@@cksajeevkumar Yes, center stand is a technique. @JayB27 When pulling back the bike with both hands, put all your weight on your right foot (stand on it). Bike will move back very easily.

Royal Enfields have properly designed centre stands.While putting on centre stand, one just needs to hard press on the stand's lever and slightly pull the bike with right hand.No need to pull hard with right hand.The leg has to apply all the pressure.

Bro, till 22k kms I was using Royal Enfield liquid gun oil, after that I thought to change to motul, but mechanic suggested me to use Gulf multi G+ car engine oil 20w50, I used it but people said engine will be fine, but can cause clutch slippages, after riding 1700kms, I changed to Motul 300v, bike is performing well though. Did mechanic wrongly guided me, will my bike have any problem in future, I’m totally confused please guide me bro.

I Maintain All Advice. Allow Install From Showrom..

Nice and clean bro. Just a small suggestion, 'Negative impact dalti hai" sounds over too distorted. You can say dowside of doing xyz. Congratulations! You are going for Classic, Keep it classic. Spokes make it look classic. Alloy mismatches. I own 1970 Bullet, I would never imagine the classy looking bike with Alloy. Short answer, it looks ugly. Enjoy the bike friend.

kuch nehi hota bhai, 50k km self start se chalachuka hu. aur technically ye baat galat hain, engine motor start karein ya aap k kick, does the same impact to the engine. ye sab bakwas choro aur accha engine oil dalo, engine ki life increase hoga. kuch dino bad kick start ana bandh ho jayega har ek bike main.

Actually you have to understand first that what are you doing by self-starting and kick starting. Boths purposes are the same, you are just generating revolutions (RPM) to the crown pinion. Your self motor will suck your battery itself. But when you are kick starting, only a little current will be used from the battery for the engine spark plug.
