5 Mistakes I Made As A New Candle Business Owner
In this video we are diving into the 5 mistakes that I made (and sometimes continue to make) as a new candle business owner. From too many candle sizes, to wasting money on marketing. We will dive into it here and what I’m doing currently as I navigate the struggles as a new business owner. There are many more mistakes I have made, but these are the few that stood out to me.

Great post! Candle making definitely involves a huge learning curve! It’s both art and science, and lots of patience, trial and error. Wicking is definitely the trickiest and for myself at this point now is learning to make labels using Canva. Can’t sell products without labels!🤪😂 Your labels are very nice! Keep up the great work! This business is definitely a journey as you mentioned! All the best to you.

Thank you! I have gone through so many different labels as I have learned more. I also tend to like something better after I already committed to another label haha I think I found my full time labels now though! (We'll see haha)

Thank you for the support! There are a lot of tough lessons I’ve learned and I’m sure will continue to learn! But I get my jars from Amazon. They cut into my margin a bit, but because I’m not doing high volume right now it doesn’t make sense for me to source overseas. But if that is a route you wanted to take Alibaba is awesome for bulk products!

At the craft fairs I have a small pegboard I use! I have a craft fair coming up this weekend. I plan to Vlog about it, and I’ll be sure to show how I set up everything!
