I just realized you made the same mistake as I did when I first used this chair. There are these circle on both sides that are supposed to slide into the metal bars so that the kid does not slide so much forward. Otherwise the kid is hanging too far forward with the thing between the legs.

I’m a long time away from being a mom but I’m obsessed w baby gear. how safe does it feel? I would be so afraid that the baby can fall.

It feels very secure! I have no worries at all, it doesn’t wiggle or anything on a sturdy table 😊
It says that it fits 3.5" tables.... the lip to get onto my table is a little less than 4.5 thick, can it get around that to hook under? The actual table thickness is only like 2.5" So confusing! lol
