Green Mango Chutney is also known as raw mango chutney. Indian chutneyes are prepared from fresh unripe mangoes. Ripe mangoes are sweet and are not used for chutneys as they are eaten raw. Green unripe mangoes are hard and sour, and they are used for various chutneys.
Today I am preparing two kind of Chutneys one is Carrot - Mango Chutney another one is Chickpea - Green Moong - Mango Chutney. Both these chutneys are delicious in taste as well as Healthy.
Some of Health Benifits of Green Mango, Fresh Carrot, Fresh Chick pea and Green Moong are mentioned below :
1. Unripe mangoes help in treating liver disorders because they increase the secretion of bile acids and clean the intestines of bacterial infections. They also have more Antioxidants and Vitamin C than ripe mangoes. These antioxidant properties protect the body against cancer and cardiovascular diseases also. (Collected)
2. Carrot (Daucus carota) is a root vegetable often claimed to be the perfect health food.
It is crunchy, tasty, and highly nutritious. Carrots are a particularly good source of beta carotene, fiber, vitamin K1, potassium, and antioxidants. They also have a number of health benefits. They’re a weight-loss friendly food and have been linked to lower cholesterol levels and improved eye health.
What’s more, their carotene antioxidants have been linked to a reduced risk of cancer. Orange carrots get their bright color from beta carotene, an antioxidant that your body converts into vitamin A. (Collected)
3. As a rich source of vitamins, minerals and fiber, chickpeas may offer a variety of health benefits, such as improving digestion, aiding weight management and reducing the risk of several diseases. Additionally, chickpeas are high in protein and make an excellent replacement for meat in vegetarian and vegan diets.
4. Green Moong Packed With Healthy Nutrients. It's contains Fats, Protin, Carbs, Fibers, Folate (B9), Manganese, Magnesium, Vitamin B1, Phosphorus, Iron, Copper, Potecium, Zinc, Vitamin B2, B3, B5, B6 and Selenium. So now Ingredients for these two Recipes:
Soak Green Moong 30 Grms
Soak Chick pea 30 Grms
Fresh Carrot 3 Nos.
Fresh Raw Mangoes 4 to 6 Pieces.
Ginger Garlic paste 2 Teaspoons
Black salt 3 Teaspoons
Green Chillis 6 Pieces
Little amount of water
Preparation time 15 minutes
Cooking Time 5 Minutes
Serve 10 to 15 times
Procedure:
Carrot - Mango Chutney :
Take 4 Nos of Raw Mangoes and Cut them in small pieces after pilling. Take 3 Nos of Carrots cut them also in small pieces. Take a grinder put all the items with salt, Green chilli and Ginger garlic paste. Make a fine paste. Chutney is ready .
Chickpea - Green moong - Raw Mango Chutney:
1st soak Chick pea and Green moong for 3 to 4 hours. Cut 2 nos of mangoes in small pieces. Now take a grinder add all the items with Green chilli, black salt and Ginger garlic paste 1 Teaspoon. Make a fine paste . Chutney is ready.
