Thank you so much for taking the time to show one’s like myself how I can use the deco mesh. I have never made a wreath yet, but I am going to give it a try. Thank you again!!
This as a very good video! Your directions were easily understood . Thank you for sharing!
I find the ruffle method tends to allow for more fraying. Also, I use 20 inches for the cruffle method and curl no more than 3 times. It makes for a nice full look & saves 5 inches of mesh per cruffle. I also find it easier to allow the natural curl of the mesh to form the curl. Much easier than flattening and rolling. These are just things I have found helpful. Everyone has there own groove.😉

I do use my wood burning tool to cut mesh to help reduce fraying as long as the mesh doesn't have burlap or a fabric mesh. Yes everyone has a different way of doing things so there really is no wrong way, as long as you're enjoying the process. I like learning how others make their wreaths I always learn something new! Thank you! ❤️

@Brenda Giles I use my soldering tool. I never have a problem with the ruffle meth. I think it depends on the mesh.

Thank you for all your help on showing how to do the different methods. I have the use of one hand so I will certainly try a few of the methods. I can do the curl method only at this point. If you have any suggestions for my one hand, please share.

I'm glad I could help! I think the ruffle method would be easy to do with one hand as long as you have a way to anchor/hold one end while you ruffle. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching! ❤️
I like that one

How do you get the puff back on a packed Christmas wreath. Mine are flat now. :/ Thank you for your help.
This is an awesome video. Ian new so I have to watch this one more than once. What I don’t know what to do is how many goes in each section approximately using a 14 inch wreath
@JamiesCreations
2 жыл бұрын
It depends on what method you use. Typically each section will have 3 ruffles, cruffles or poofs one per pipe cleaner. For the curl I usually use 2 curls per pipe cleaner. For bubble method I usually have about 5 bubbles in each section. I hope this helps. 😀
Thank you so much... I bought a bunch of decorative mesh and I had no clue what to do with it!!! Lol...

Can you make bubble wreath with a ten inch mesh
What method uses the least amount of mesh?
What do you do with the pipe cleaners to hide them?
@JamiesCreations
2 жыл бұрын
It just depends on what you want to do. If you plan on adding anything like ribbon to them then I would wait and then when you are done just twist the pipe cleaners a few times and snip off the ends. If you are not going to put anything else in them then go ahead and give them a few twists and snip the ends off. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions I'm more than happy to help if I can. Thanks for watching Leslie! ❤️
It would have been nice to see the finished wreaths. Otherwise very informative! Thanks!
For for the bubble wreath can you use 10 in deco mesh instead of the 21 in
@JamiesCreations
9 ай бұрын
You can but you will want to make your bubbles bigger and it may not be as full so it may require using more mesh.
I have a round wreath that has been filled in with chicken wire. I'm trying to find one like I have to understand where to put the 10 inch decor mess. Is there anyway that you can show me how to do this. There is a hole in the center part of the wreath. I've combed thru the different sites and I cannot find anyone who is doing this
@JamiesCreations

I'm not sure I have ever seen a wreath filled with chicken wire, where did you find it if I may ask?
Have you ever tried to incorporate more than one method on one wreath? I was curious what a wreath would look like if there was more than one method

Yes I have a recent tutorial on my channel of a Patriotic wreath I made using ruffles and curls if you would like to check it out.
What’s the difference between the bubble and the pouf method??
@JAKA517
Жыл бұрын
… the placement of the pipe cleaner seems to be the only difference… what am I missing??
@JamiesCreations
Жыл бұрын
The difference is that with the bubble method you are putting at least 5 poufs in one section of the wreath and pushing the poufs together so the end result will look sort of like a bunt cake when the wreath is complete. With the pouf method you are only adding 3 poufs per section of the wreath ring and you are not pushing the poufs together. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
New to wreath making. Need all the help I can get?
Do you ever use the 6 inch deco mesh?
@JamiesCreations

Not usually. I mostly use 10 inch.
How many rolls does it take to make each wreath ?
@JamiesCreations
10 ай бұрын
It really depends on what method you use and how big your wreath frame is but for me I tend to use the ruffle method more than the others and it generally takes 1 roll of 10"x10 yards cutting 18 pieces to 20" long and using a dollar tree 14" wreath frame. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
For roll look how many rolls ?
