Curating all the resources that I mentioned in the video: Prerequisites: Basic level Math (mainly probability, linear algebra, differential calculus, statistics) Basic level Python (can learn from anywhere & practice few coding problems on it) Tools to play with data: (Kaggle will be really helpful here not just in terms of datasets, but it's EDA discussions) SQL Numpy Matplotlib Pandas (for tabular data) Opencv (for image data) Satosa (for understanding image kernels) NLTK (for text data) ML: Statquest YT channel (for understanding algorithms) Scikit-learn package (for all essential preprocessing and ML implementations with a nice doc) Deep Learning: Deep learning specialization (5 courses) by Andrew NG TF playground (for understanding basic working of neural networks) Stanford CS 231 course by Andrej Karpathy (I did it at that time, maybe some better courses are available now) Stanford 224 (NLP) I generally rely on blogs for everything. You may follow blogs like: Jay Alammar Colah (best for lstm) Sebastian ruder (word embeddings and gradient descent optimizers) MLWhiz (ML fundamentals) YT channels for Interview practice: Krish Naik Data Science Jay Nick Singh (on linkedin) For finding best available model in any field: Paperswithcode I can go on and on but this list will never end. And once you become familiar enough, you don't need any further suggestions. Keep hustling !!

Everytime u upload the video with the main tag line is less experience with high package ,in this case in 2 yrs someone earning 50lpa but I don't see anytime u have posted anything about mental peace with proportion to work laod bcoz with high package ,work load will be high as well.I believe money is not always everything.

I haven't disclosed my actual CTC. Also, I have mentioned an average number since for 2 years experience, DS1 is the role that is generally offered.

I think , you said you like python that's great , I would suggest that you learn business tools like power bi or tableu and mongo db. You can opt for a business analyst post that's also good. And also solve more n more reasoning, apti problems it will also develop your skills

Hi. Big thank you for this video and it was an informative video. I am currently working in MNC in Oracle EBS stream for about 1.4 years. I want to switch my stream into Data Analytics/Data Science field. I had gained good amount of knowledge in Data Analytics (Learned about R, Python, Tableau, Excel and few more tools) and also done few courses and still doing. Man if you have only oracle database experience in resume then who will even select for data scientists. At least add POC. Go to kaggle for projects. But you can’t fool them by telling these as your real project.

Data science is a very broad domain now-a-days. So, there are things that require basic math while some rely on extensive mathematics. So, it's really upto you what you want to prefer. There is no as such barrier and in fact, most of the times...basic math will do.
