STORY TIME: My first kiss was last Friday (March 8, 2019). I watched SO MANY “how to kiss” videos days in advance to this planned kiss. I felt so confident and ready... Then the time came and I froze up. It was awkward for about 15-20 minutes. After I showed him some artwork (as an excuse to bring him in my room), he asked me “Is there anything else you wanted to show me?” Which he was hinting towards the kiss... but I completely froze up and just hugged him for a solid 3 minutes. After the hug, we talked for a minute or two about horses (bc we both liked them) and then he leaned in for the kiss. We kissed for maybe 5 seconds and then I push him away and bury my face in his arm/chest. Do you know why I did that? Oh boy, well I will tell you. It literally felt like I zoned out/passed out and imagined that the kiss happened, but it really didn’t. So I was super confused bc I didn’t know if I had imagined it or if it actually happened. With my anxiety, I’m known to zone out a lot so it was tough for me to figure out what happened. Also, I buried my head into his arm as an apology bc I watch way to many episodes of the show “Siren” lmao. ANYWAYS, so that my parents didn’t get suspicious, he said he should leave. Even though I had watched all those how to kiss videos, I swear I did everything wrong, I didn’t breathe, I was stiff, I didn’t go in for the kiss first (like I had planned). HOWEVER, this story does end in a good way. He actually did enjoy the kiss, and that he wanted more. I think he understood that he was dealing with a noob and that I’d get better with practice. AND THAT FOLKS.... is my really embarrassing first kiss that kinda has a good ending somehow 😂😂

Honestly...I think my last kiss was around a year ago. It was his first kiss and it was a lot better than the previous guys. The last guys had dry lips and were just so awkward. I totally understand. I had my first kiss last Saturday (on April 13, 2019) and I pretty much did the same thing. Me and this guy had gone to the movies bc we both just wanted to get out of our houses and we had been talking for about a week at the time (we have known each other for a couple months prior to this but had just never really talked talked), and it was starting to become more and more obvious that there was some shared feelings. So we were about to leave the movies and we were just sitting in his car talking, and then out of the blue he kissed me. I had never kissed anyone before so I was really shocked at first and I felt like I kinda just sat there. Well after maybe like 15ish seconds, I pulled away super fast bc I processed what had just happened. I was so embarrassed that I hadn’t known what to do, and I told him that I felt bad and that I was sorry I had just never kissed anyone before, and luckily he was okay with it. I still had felt like I made things so awkward tho, but now we have openly talked about how we feel and have decided to start going on dates and figure out how to make this work before I go off to college in the fall. (He will actually be doing college were we live but I will be about an hour away, so we just both want to make sure that we want to try and make things work), but yeah that is my story about my first kiss and how I relate to how u felt.
