I have been cooking as a married woman for 50 years now. (lots of experience with casseroles) I just wanted to share an idea I use over and over to change things up a bit. When a casserole is going to have a lot of cheese instead of the cream of mushroom soup or cream of what ever soup I will use the cheddar cheese soup. Gosh it is good. Spreads the cheese flavor all through the dish. Just an idea. Your recipes look good. I was thinking that ham casserole would be good with chicken too.

Ah! When you really don't know what to make for dinner, a casserole does the trick! And all of these look like they are full of flavor! Budget-friendly, especially for when it is almost shopping time and you need to use up what you have. These will help keep the waste down! Beautiful job, as always, Julia! THANK you!!! 😊❤

My daughter has a friend in financial difficulty with little money, almost NO groceries, and daughters to feed. I sent her a couple of your eat-for-cheap videos and some groceries. Pillsbury crescent rolls now come as a single sheet which is the same size as the original roll. It’s just much easier not having to pinch the separations of the individual rolls. I used it all the time!

@@kerriekrafts mine is quite often out also but when they’re in stock I’ll buy 3 or 4 and freeze them. As long as you defrost them slowly in the fridge they’re just fine to use. Good luck finding them!

@@stuckinmopro8533 Very helpful tip! 💯 Had no idea you could freeze those! So does the same apply for all roll-canned dough? Biscuits, French bread, cinnamon rolls, pizza crust? That's genius if all those can be done! Bc nothing ruins my biscuits & gravy, than stale biscuits 🙄 I keep saying I'm gonna tackle homemade biscuits one of these days! I've just never worked with yeast.... Never kneaded anything, so praying I can make them successfully!

@@Dragonflyy826 yes, I’ve frozen various biscuits and the cinnamon rolls before and and they defrosted just fine. I’m just careful to slowly defrost them in the refrigerator a day ahead of time as opposed to trying to force them to defrost quickly. When I tried to do it quickly by using the microwave the dough was hard to separate. Best of luck to you!

I'm definitely making that ham & noodle casserole tonight! Usually when I make noodle casseroles like that I add a packet of ranch seasoning mix, it gives it so much flavor! Thanks for all you videos! ❤

I hope you keep going with these videos, I don't often have time or energy to cook as I have two jobs. Last year was very difficult for my brothers and I as we lost our mother to an illness. Learning to make easy and healthy meals that my mom would have enjoyed makes this new aspect of our lives a little easier. Thank you.

Happy Sunday morning Julia. These recipes look amazing, I can't wait to try these on my family this week. I'm going to be meal prepping for my daughter and son in law who are expecting their first child in August. I'm going to be making your freezer meals from your videos that way they can make them a month before the baby is born or after the baby is born, whichever they prefer. Anything to make it easier on first time parents. We live in the North and they live in the South. I guess the highway will see a lot of us as this is our first grandchild, so excited!

Hello friend! So thrilled by these delicious looking recipes! I've tried several of your previous recipes and they were delicious. The ham and noodles casserole will be the perfect way to use up the leftover ham from upcoming Easter meal! My grands are going to love any of these meals! I send a home cooked meal to their house every Sunday while their momma works...I tell them it's a little hug for the inside from Grandma🙂 Hope you are doing well! I’ll continue to say my admiration for you sharing your time and videos with us especially as you approach the end part of your pregnancy!
