Do more challenges like you guys did when Flite Test first started. Like the bomb drop challenge, speed challenge, glider challenge, the Josh and Josh champ landing challenge, and stuff like that. Those are what made me start watching Flite Test back 4 years ago; and i wish you guys would bring them back.

You guys do some excellent videos and some great builds but when you tour the shop I find myself amazed you have no small scaled wind tunnel. When are you going to build one? I used to see these built at 4H type events usually of an old squirrel caged blower and a belt driven AC furnace motor which can make the cost almost free. It seems to me the Swedish fellow would really utilize one to a good end.

I've currently got a few designs in the works. One, which I've already got a balanced glide dummy prototype of, is a foam board + prop Aeris 3A (a plane from Kerbal Space Program). The second, which I have detailed plans for, is another foamy, a BAE systems hawk which will also be powered by a prop, but is designed to be adaptable to an EDF as I hone my reflexes. My third design is something of my own. It will have a stressed skin (and possibly some balsa) construction, using aluminum sheet salvaged from soda cans. I'll probably do some small scale test to determine the validity of the concept, but the idea is to eventually build a 2m long aircraft powered by a home-made gas turbine, likely powered by propane. Don't worry I'm going to keep safe when building the turbine engine.

I can't wait to step into this new stuff. I have been doing helicopters for a while and working with carbon fiber, just looking for some simple flying. So other than the RTF, EPO foam or what ever it is this is my next step. Thanks for not ( compliment ) being to normal, you fit right into my lingo. good day guys :)

Loved to see the Bugatti 100P in flight, I've made 3 so far. First was a Balsa one of 32" span, scaled from an A4 sized drawing. went 20 feet then flipped left and crashed. repeated this several times, even with a contra-rotating motor. To check what I had done wrong I made one the same size from Depron, with a small geared dc motor. This flew fine. I couldn't work out why the first didn't fly properly. Then I made a 42" version from Balsa, with single motor and retracts. This flew just like the first, but they were all challenging and interesting builds.Unfortunately the builder of the full-size replica built over many years died on it's third and last flight before it went to a museum. It now seems inappropriate to refurbish either plane.

I like the Bugatti 100P so much. It is such a unique plane. There was a project of building a real one (the original was never finsihed) but sadly it crashed killing the pilot. Maybe there will be a nice RC plane soon although I believe it is very hard to fly. Especially the landings will be difficult since it has a long nose and a low clearence between propeller and ground.

Guys, how about making pinned article on flitetest site, gathering all the plans that community and you have made? I've been searching for some planes lately, I found MM Catalina, Bf-109 & Zero. I found Baby Baron accidentally, same as Baby Bugatti, there are a lot of plans made by nerdnic and other guys, I'm pretty sure that there's a lot of plans out there, and I just haven't found them yet, and I bet that many people would like to have a big list of planes to build. Let me know when you read this. Love you guys :)

@FliteTest Hey I am 16 years old and my Dad and I build UMX old style pattern planes, built up balsa style. Some examples include a Kwik Fly 180, a Kaos 180, and a Neo (personal design) 180/280. We have also built a Superstorter 180. All these airplanes are fully built up and made out of balsa, and minimum plywood where necessary. All electronics are from Horizon Hobby's 180 & 280 size aircraft. If you, or anyone is interested, let me know and I will share more about them.

hey flite test i'm just starting to build a AVRO 504k foamboard model i designed a dummy radial engine on CAD and 3d printed it so i was wondering if you could do your own version of this aircraft and i could send you the stl fines for the dummy engine it would be amazing if you are interested and i have also designed and made my own DH vampire using a 70mm 12 bladed EDF it sounds awsome. I can send you some footage of it if you want. Hope you consider this idea and love your videos very helpful.

my dad has actually been building one of that exact model of sikorsky's for the past 10+ years. safe to say, progress is sloooooow. wingspan over 2metres, and gas engine. Chainsaw engine is the preferred powerplant, but when time comes, economy might be up, and a nice o.s or d.a might find its way into it =)

She does fly just fine with the plans as-is. If you have built a FT airplane before than you should have no problem. Some additional items are being addressed. I say go for it. You can always build another later ;)

Can you write the pronunciation difference between the two phonetically?? Your point is meaningless at the moment because nobody can tell the damn difference between Stol and Stall. There's no vowel to make it read as Stole. So I read it as if its an Ah. Like "Wow" can phonetically be written as Wahw.

Amir A "wahw" would be pronounced "war" though.
