Thanks for the review Coop! For those interested... The specs on our site: 77”: 230lbs with weight horns, 205lbs without weight horns and the 92”: 240lbs with weight horns, 215lbs without weight horns. Both are rated to hold up to 2,500lbs. Our 77" without the easily removable weight horns is 205lbs vs other options that are 2x3" at 185lbs. So just a 20lb difference, and you get all the 3x3" attachments since 2x3" is no longer supported by most companies. As Coop said, you could just bend your knees and still do pull ups on the 77", so it's less awkward to move around for those want a more 'yoke experience' and more versatile for sled pushes, carries, and move it inside/outside. On top of that, you can use j-cups and spotter arms to use it as a squat stand and bench press station even if you don't get the pull up bar.

What is the weight capacity of the pull up bar?
I've watched this review so many times! I agree - a yoke is the way forward, but there arent many 3x3 options (especially below 90" that still has a decent pull up height - 7ft would be the sweet spot!) and even less reviews on yokes in general! The first company to make a 3x3 yoke, with 7' uprights and 1 inch holes, adjustable pull up bar, quick release yoke cross member and J cups included would wipe the market clean! That would be the absolute sweet spot for vesatility and small spaces. A full yoke comparison review would go down a treat! Keep 'em coming
Best part of the video is the UPS note and Coop's reaction 😆😂😅
Thanks for the review! I was confused by some of the details about what the different available configurations are and what they cost. The Rep website cleared that up, but it’s be great to get a quick overview of that in the video. Even if it was just the range of prices (high and low) and a list of the four available configurations.
Absolutely in love with the concept. Disappointed how heavy it is
This is like the perfect outdoor gym
nice video bro!
Coop, great review and summary. I’m so glad you got one of these to test. Recently i just bought a REP SR4000 squat rack which is the mini me of this, I got it for a 3rd rack in my shop/gym. I debated about getting one of these for the reasons you stated, the options are endless, and i have a 10ft door to take it in and out of, so even the 92 inch version would work. Here’s the thing like you said; would you use the other features enough? I’m not a “strongman” (don’t tell my wife 😁), and at 5’9” i don’t think i could push this thing around, it’s too dam heavy. If they made a lighter “PR4000” yoke, i would be all over it! For the reasons you said, you could just move the darn thing around your gym, and change the layout or even move it outside to squat or lift with on a nice day. Just like the AB4100 which is their “sweet spot” quality bench (which i got cause of your review), they need a version of this you could make heavier just by adding plates, it’s like they almost overdid it, even though the design is fantastic. Smaller pull up bar, 86-90” height, and those sweet rotating handles, with a much cheaper price, this thing is worth the money, I just couldn’t justify the $1,000 more than an SR4000, so maybe an $800-$900 Yoke with the same set up, just lighter would be MONEY!! “Hey man, check out my gym, what is that, we’ll it’s a YOKE, let me show you how bad ass it is, (while I can’t lift or move it) 😆
Maybe they will come out with the PR4000 5/8ths version as their lighter option down the road. Would love to add something like to leave in the backyard to train 3 seasons.
Great review. I really like my Titan tall yoke. Works great for yoke carries and as an additional rack\pullup bar. I just wish Titan would innovate and make the accessories like Rep has here for their rack.

I'm sure they are revese engineering it as we speak.
Coop and team, I'd be curious on a comparison of your suggestion at the end of purchasing Oxylus Yoke and Pull-up bar against a squat stand with pull-up bar.
Alot to Like ! I have a Texas Strength System 6-in-1. I like it ALOT, too
When you tried to use it as a sled I could see that the center of mass, and hand position, is too high, that's why it was sticking to the ground . The front feet grab the ground and it "wants" to tip rather than slide.
@allenhardy2682

I agree, I believe they should have tried to push it from the opposite direction. I noticed when using plain sleds, the handles are rear of the weight. Maybe that it why it was trying to dip.
Wow this is amazing, I’m buying it
I used this at their PA store grand opening and it shocked me at how heavy it was! I didn’t even know it was 385 lb (which is my DL PR), but I did get it off the ground briefly before it started to lean back on me. It’s crazy how much weight it feels like when it’s somewhat unbalanced like that. I agree that it could have been slightly lighter and maxed out @ 80” tall. 77” uprights on top of the 3” base would be better for most homeowners. Great design and features, just not for me.

You can take off the handle component which makes it lighter. Not for me either but that is because I am not interested in a yoke anyways and have space limitations.
Your the Goat 🐐 of exercise Equipment!
yYo Coop, when you carry a yoke grab the vertical uprights. You get a better shelf from your traps and more stability when you push it forward
Yep it’s heavy. But a couple trips pushing and pulling it down the drive and my legs were shot! With the UHMW shoes it is almost silent when pushed. Fit and Finnish was perfect! I have several attachments that I can throw on to free up the rack and it’s rock solid! The revolving dead lift handles are drop set grip genius!
I hope you guys do the Fray Fitness rack and functional trainer coming up. It is 2600$ for the rack and the functional trainer combined. Which is way cheaper than the Ares system with the necessary rack. In fact it is cheaper than most functional trainers by itself! It looks like an awesome piece of equipment. Built in functional trainers built into racks is going to be the future I believe. I think in the next 10 years it will be a standard feature in most racks. Anyways thanks for thr content! Love the passion!

I've been curious about the Fray rack too, but have seen other reviews of Fray equipment that indicate they typically have quality control issues. Chipped paint, missing parts, bent parts. And their customer support is not as responsive or helpful as they should be.
I used it at the rep showroom in PA and had the same impression. It’s awesome and does everything but… it’s heavy for sure and most lifters couldn’t use its full functionality
They should use the rotating handle idea on their open trap bar. That would be cool.

Sick 👍🏻💪🏻
Thanks for demonstrating the sled on concrete! The fact that it’s that rough will discourage MOST people from that expensive feature. Myself included. Having to get turf just to use it is a huge turn off since turn takes up so much room when rolled up, plus the space/time needed to use it and the cost.
This is a cool design . I agree with your review. Would have liked to see you put some J-cups on it and slam a bar in it like when you’re putting down the squat bar at the end of a set just to see how stable it is as a squat rack.
That is one NICE versatile beast. I like it... but I don't have the room or the need. Wonder if they plan on making a version of that spinning tri handle for their open trap bar....
Almost perfect 👏
This video is awesome! Keep grinding! These tips are super useful! Question for you... have you ever used Next Level Diet? I got a custom weight loss meal plan from them and it's really working for me.
Stand or Submit have had a similar version in Australia for quite a while with some different attachments, I would say most people who have a lot of strongman equipment understand it is not as convenient for storage and use as your typical garage gym equipment, stones and tyres the most notable
@garagegymreviews I would love to see you convert this into a squat stand. I am considering this myself. 2 compact logo crossmembers (1 for a horizontal foot support and one for the uprights). Then a 1.25 pull up bar. I would love to see this! thanks!
I was excited for it until learning of how heavy it was. I bought a cheap yoke from gorila fitness and was absolutely drooling when I saw the previews for this but the base weight is a deal breaker!
The frame portion looks like you'd hit your legs on it in a fast yoke run. Glad it's removable
Texas Strength Systems, 6in1 Yoke is something to look into! It is great! IMO
Can you do a yoke comparison video?
Sweet jesus they need those handles for the trap bar
I want one, seems perfect for me.
Any updates on if you have the Ares attachment yet? I want the review, because I am still waiting on my shipment confirmation....
Indeed it looks like a very nice piece of equipment. I'm not its market, though.
PLEASE REVIEW Phoenix squat rack. It folds up
I think maybe the Bells of Steel Strongman Yoke might be a better option for home gym owners. It doesn’t have as many features, but it’s much cheaper and lighter
@bootsandbraces75
Жыл бұрын
but bells is only rated for 800lbs or 700 i believe
Does this product ship to the UK? Thank you.
Are you pushing on the wrong side? Would it push easier having the upright handles towards the back of the sled? Serious question, I have no idea.
Bought this rack yesterday on marketplace for $200. Boom! Its over $600 right now with shipping and taxes.
Looks badass, but would be way more interested in a slimmed down version. Think that would be easier to balance for a rickshaw type carry as well.
When you going to review the flipsled?
FINALLY STRONGMAN!!!!! I love this thing. I want one maybe two, but I have to look up the price. This maybe the piece I need most of all!!! Add farmers and a stone…maybe
Any idea why trap bars like this have 1" and 1.5" handles instead of the standard power bar diameter of 29mm, or deadlift bar of 27mm?
Where can I get pins to replace the bolts for the pull-up bar? Or what dimensions should I look for? I plan on getting this thing, and I would probably get the 92" version over the 77" if disassembly/assembly were that much quicker. I don't quite get why they opted for bolts in the first place since the rest of it uses pins safely enough.
Can I use the rogue adjustable pull up bar on this
Heavy ness isn’t the issue, it’s more the balance of the hex bar idk why they didn’t just put an attachment where the posts are it’s wide enough for it.
i live in a townhouse was wondering if i just bought the yoke . does it break down easy into 3 pieces . so i can carry it up and down the stairs to get it outside
I would have liked to see the squat attachments on it. I’m in the market to keeping something like this outside in my backyard exposed to the elements including snow. I wonder how it was fair to that.
What pins did you use for the pull-up bar?
Where can we find the old video of the Rogue Yoke review?
Nice bideo
I love my rogue yoke and it's 180lbs
I like that it's so tall when you carry it, makes for some epic forearm and general stability workout. Them nerves must be super confused after two-three sets. Their slogan could be "never spill your tea again"
@humblehummus3956
Жыл бұрын
I was thinking more of the holes/dents dudes are gonna put in their aluminum garage doors/ceilings when they lift/carry it outside 😂 but yes your stability will be enhanced greatly as well
I really wish a 1.25in pull up bar was an option! However it sounds like a Rogue one should fit.
Can we get a review of the TSS 6-in-1 Yoke?
They should’ve made the feet convertible to top loading farmers handles. Imo that would’ve been a better idea than the rickshaw attachment.
I've been wanting to buy a yoke. This may be it
That Ox is massive to get in and out of a garage, at least you wouldn't have to take many plates with it. Have the tall version from Valor Fitness and it being cumbersome turned into a Log holder and OHP station. Then picked up the shorty from Titan, love that for carries and sandbag work, so versatile. REPs version looks amazing, but it might be too much muchy.
I have not read all the comments so I apologize if this is a repeat but if it can be used to do bench presses does that mean that spotter arms can be used on this for safety?
Big issue I foresee is the unevenness of the frame attachment when doing yoke runs. Or for doing stones over bar, the attachment would get in the way. Would be annoying to have to add/remove to the attachment all the time

I've only seen 2 people post on FB that they got theirs and they both said they ordered it the day pre-orders opened up. Literally they got delivered yesterday, so I am guessing they need a couple days if they got theirs to make a finished video. But I am with you, I am stoked for their review of the product.
Serious question Coop: Do I need a yoke to get “yoked”??!
g20 force usa.. please for the love of all that is good
Now be a savage and connect it to a rogue rack 😈😈😈 I hate how the bigger companies aren’t able to mix and match components at times , drives me nuts ! Especially when we are all using “3x3 1 inch holes”
Inconsistently using UHMW is a bummer... Even if you knew nothing about uhmw you'll see these attachments don't scratch and these do on this unit
8:30 Chest height is a good height for a pull-up bar.
Good lord. This thing is crazy.
A little disappointing how heavy it is. I could be wrong but for novice ladies strongman it's already too heavy. Would've been easy to make it lighter and just add plates to make it heavier. Seems like it's built for the big boys only. I agree average person won't be able to use this. You hit the nail on the head at the end.
@josephbloxham3992

Without the trap bar insert its only 280. That's reasonable for most people on a yoke, especially in a contest setting.
@Xplora213
Жыл бұрын
Steel is heavy. You have to make a trade off. You can make it lighter but it WILL flex and have a short life. Honestly, this isn’t ever going to be something for the ladies unless they are already quite experienced. Physics can’t be beaten. Fortunately a dedicated yoke and rickshaw would be much cheaper and lighter, just more space taken.
@BJerrell

The 77" model seems to be 215lbs without weight horns. The rogue y1 is 185lbs so it seems to be the best option for women to start at if they would want this yoke
@josephbloxham3992
Жыл бұрын
@@BJerrell maybe some strong women will chime in, but you can usually carry on a yoke more than you can squat. I can't imagine a lot of the women wanting to compete in strongman having a hard time with 215.
@BJerrell
Жыл бұрын
@@josephbloxham3992 I agree with your point, 215 is quite light for a yoke run. However, I am refuting the point that OP had that this yoke is too heavy. When it's roughly in the ballpark of the rogue y1/y2 which is a standard 2x3 yoke used in commercial gyms and competitions
I think you were trying to push it from the wrong side. If you use the sled portion while pushing from outside the trap bar, I think it would slide better. Also it looks tippy when you lift from the trap bar, but you didn't mention that with extra weight via plates on the base, that it won't tip like that. Which is also why it's made for much bigger/stronger people that can lift way more than 385#
Coop, you do look like you lift, and you got them all beat because we can tell your all natural, thats the best way to be💪💪💪 your awesome man

Way to heavy for my strength level but I could see how some athletes would love this in their home gym
Boom goes the dynamite
Or for less money get the Y1 yoke and a trap bar. I don't see them selling a whole bunch of these.
The yokes on you!
just for the sake of comparison, my Titan short yoke is 165lb empty. I find that a better empty weight getting new people into yoke. nearly 400lbs is a tough ask for someone just starting out in strongman, ha ha. I'd love it, but I wouldnt be able to get my wife using it like she does the Titan or some of my friends who just casually come over for fun on occassion for strongman days. I really dont understand the upright heights either. Doesnt seem this was built for garage gym owners :( I train strictly strongman out of my garage gym and would love something LIKE this, but it seems they missed the mark for the garage's out there.
Its too much but I would add it to my home gym set up... once I move to a place with more room.
Great review but watching this is just for entertainment purposes as I await the ARES review. :D
Better yoke is the valor bd21, comes with j cups and most strong boys have a trap bar
Does the Frame Carry Attachment really offer anything more than just separately buying their Open Trap Bar for about the same price?
@josephbloxham3992

Frame carry is a popular strongman event. It's a nice option to have a true frame rather than training on a hex bar.
@kylen6430
Жыл бұрын
@@josephbloxham3992 is this a ‘true frame’? I’ve never seen a frame carry where the frame had 8’ uprights. A trap bar, or maybe just farmers handles would be as close to what you can expect to compete with than this is
@josephbloxham3992
Жыл бұрын
@@kylen6430 no, it certainly isn't a true frame. They are usually rectangular. But the plate loaded design and the awkwardness of the weight will work you differently than a hex bar. The fact that you can use it for sled pushes as well is a bonus.
Ethos from Dicks Sporting Goods has a nice and simple yoke, 200lbs. Can also be used for a squat rack.
TSS had this made a while ago, but GGR doesn’t review good companies like that.
seems like a really cool gimmick for the guy who has a lot of gym equipment. And for those that dont have gym equipment at home, they probably dont need this. This is definitely a non home gym type of "tool" - seems like there are better equipment that can do what this does but better albeit in separate pieces.
I can see people banging their knees in the frame when pushing the slid on cement. lol
the weight decreases the chances of it walking off if you do leave it outside...
I still don’t understand why no one makes a 3x3 5/8” yoke targeted at the home gym market and held together with a removable pull up bar. Sure, the frame carry and sled are cool, but seem kind of gimmicky, even if you’re into strong man and then it’s $1400 for everything, which seems crazy. However, a sturdy yoke that I can use my existing attachments on as an outdoor squat rack in the spring/summer and stores pretty much flat against the wall during the winter for like $600 bucks seems like it’s a no brainer. Bonus if it comes in a rust proof coating instead of powder coat.
385 pound sled. That’s gonna be a challenge.
The way its designed when used as a sled you are naturally pushing down into the ground. If you lower your grip it will slide much better.
I don't understand the to heavy comments. I complete and coach in strongman. One of my lady athletes just did max distance yoke in comp at 380lbs. This product is not for everyone. Its designed specifically for strongman athletes. Everyone else not so much.
Rogue fitness deliver to Hawaii, Rep fitness doesn't deliver to Hawaii, wish rep fitness deliver to Hawaii soon. 🤙🤙🤙💪💪💪👍👍👍.
Ah another bad ass piece of equipment that I will never own.
I am taller then 77” so it would suck for pull-ups
they should not have knurled handles on a carry implement.
Just look at it! LOL
