+MoviesAK During glass separating, if the polarized film is damaged, you have to change new one. And you don't want to spend time to clear glue on the LCD, you can change a new polarized film, then you can save time.

why would you do the step of almost taking off the glue and then take the polarized film off and throw away. why not just take film off.

My guess is that you would apply tape to the screen if it were cracked.

Norman Bauer There is a rubber mat that goes on top of the hotplate. It seals any cracks or imperfections so no tape is needed.

This is stupid. He went from removing polarised film to adding a bezel, there are at least two steps missing from this, the most important ones!
