Yea can you feature ps4 failure its destroyed with lag switchers striker pack users and aim bots, disconnectors there's no saving it. Games a bust for ps4 recommend none too buy it until they find a way too get rid of people using it cause it's flooded with it. Reporting them is a joke too they have a program that erases reports.. so RIP fyi too the destruction of a great game on console...hold it down pc maintenance team has there hands full

Two extra ones for you 1. The AI cannot hear a rifle fired when it's more than 200m away, so you can remove the suppressor and get that extra damage and bullet speed 2. Even with a suppressor the Ai will hear a large calibre sniper fired at close range, so use an Assault rifle, SMG or pistol.

Darson100, I used this comment in the follow on video to this one '5 MORE Hidden features' (Original title I know) and tested this theory, I found that with an unsuppressed HTI the enemy noticed the sound in between 120-130 meters.

I rate the game 9.9/10 ... I would have gave it 10/10, but they didn't include horns on vehicles...

The suppressor slowing the bullet is hilarious, considering it's essentially an extension to the barrel. In reality, a suppressor wouldn't have a noticeable effect on a shot.

it's also very odd that it slows down the bullet, but the ranging on the bullet stays the same. watch closely. The time of the bullet to fly to the target gets doubled, but you don't have to aim higher for it. At least you don't have to adjust aim I guess..

Here's 5 other absolutely useless pieces of information. 1 when you swap your firearms you will notice the trees dont look any taller. 2 when you exit a vehicle at night (not many people know this) you will no longer be in the vehicle and theirs no sunlight either. 3 at the airport mission notice theirs no rivers in side the buildings. 4 if you snipe with your telescopic rifle while wearing hiking boots the round takes no time difference to reach its target. 5 best for last: when it rains during missions you will notice the cartel factions have no umbrellas or waterproof clothing.

I'm pretty sure everyone has figured out that the vehicles have different speeds. If it's moving slow at first, just double tap the accelerator and then hold down to get it moving full speed.

Splicer....another one is if in a chopper, when deploying your drone, don't run into the blades. it will destroy them.

While playing in the Tier mode I have found it necessary to have wheels close by or be annihilated. Using the drone while in a vehicle, on the passenger side, Is most helpful in taking out convoys, escaping hostile vehicles and taking out hostile troops. The benefit is obvious in that you can leave the location if needed ASAP and it reduces the chance of being taken out by a lucky shot from the enemy. I cannot emphasis enough how important it is to stay mobile or have wheel close by in the Tier mode. Using a helo is surely a fast way to get to places, but, too often it is more susceptible to being shot down either by SAM's or enemy troops. Good luck to all!

The infra-red vision is also good for very low light levels to see what you otherwise cannot. Specifically in BASE Jumps from the tall mountain in the lower left of the map, sometimes, it is near white out conditions. Using Infra-Red allows a blue vision that sees "through" the haze for planning a jump. Excellent tool for the Drone Jammer, and I never thought of that - thanks!

2 things: with the time thing you can also bring up the map and it will show you time in game and the other thing I've noticed if you shoot out a generator it won't disable drone jammers however if you disable it manually or emp it via drone it will Edit: I've just remembered as well the alarm towers if you shoot out the power box near the top it will stop helicopters coming and when you've disable the last one one of your squadmates will give you an audio cue that reinforcements won't be coming by air and another thing you can do is shoot someone in front of a bother person from one side of a camp which will make most dudes run your way to investigate you can then circle the camp and get in while they are distaracted

In reality, the muzzle velocity is slightly increased by a silencer also the shot distance. Because the silencer acts like a tube extension.

yes a silencer or a suppressor almost has no effect on ballistics it just takes a few decibels away! but my head cannon is that your squad changes their ammo to subsonic or under pressure ammunition when they have silencers attached, because it's the combination of the two that makes your weapon quiet. Doesn't really make sense, since most rifles don't have subsonic options but since they're black spec ops, i guess you could speculate they get experimental sneaky breaki gear no one knows about.

A suppressor without subsonic ammo still gives you a big advantage, though. Your target will hear the supersonic crack of the bullet, but won't hear the bang from shooting your gun at a distance. So it's much harder to determine where the shots are fired from.

Phillip Gratton using a drone's EMP on a generator is actually pretty dangerous, since it will blow up some explosive objects around it, alerting the enemy.

2:35 #3 That's been somewhat addressed in newest update. Utilizing the time when you fast travel is now an option--4 times are available to choose. (Bottom left on Tac Map screen.)

The key weapon is the HTI Desert sniper rifle, with that you can take down anything, including jammers, helis and armored vehicles. With suppressor. The next most important is the medic drone so you can revive the team from a distance. It also useful to stop vehicles with the EMP and kill commanders with the explosive.

Don't shoot out power generators at night. It will spook the enemy's and make them wander about. It will spook them more in the night because they will be more alert. Only do this during the day.

Yeah, I'm with notobiwan, I thought the large clock on the upper left of the map screen was the only clock, good eyes! :)

You should add the fact that you have ALL your unlocked weapons with you at ALL times. If you run out of ammo for one gun, simply go in to your gear and switch it for a different one. You will now have full ammo! The old gun will not get more ammo unless you restock. This way you can stay in the field longer, without having to resupply as much. I think that this is bull crap, that needs to be patched out ASAP. You should only have access to all your weapons from the weapon boxes at the resistance travel points and you should only get ammo from the ammo boxes you find around the map and in bases. This way, if you want to switch out your weapon load-out, you need to go to the safe houses and do it. But i do not think this will ever happen but one can dream.

Plus it even gives you an option at the ammo boxes to change your loadout. It would make sense to limit you to changing your weapons there. Good point!

I agree tho, its not cool nor that you can constantly change out weapons. Is there another shooter game, that does that? I can't remember any. Maybe someone else knows of 1

High powered rifles also work on the jammers. or at least the HTI unsurpressed does

The perk removes the damage penalty completely. Except because it doesn't remove the penetration penalty, the bullet doesn't "hit as many surfaces" so thats why the damage is less

if your outside the radius of detection for an unsuppressed sniper rifle you stay in stealth mode. so when possible its advantageous to use.

I'm more referring to the fact that it explodes and alerts the guards. They might not detect you, but it will trigger hunted when within a certain radius. Even if you're out of range of the "Hunted" to trigger, the enemies will still be antsy and sporadic in nature

from what I have tested they do get alerted to that and go to check out the spot of the explosion but after a few seconds. around 10-15 seconds they resume their normal routines. Thats what I was able to test at least. could be wrong. But I havent gone into hunted mode from shooting it before.

The vest also changes if your primary has a grenade launcher :)

these are more like tips I wouldn't call them hidden features

Very useful information about the power generators. I'm not far into the game and I didn't think a bullet would take it out. For some reason, it didn't even occur to me to try shooting at it!

I love sniping in wild lands. It’s so fun and it actually makes me feel nervous about the shot. I can take some really long shots, but taking shots while the target is moving is pretty hard, but I’m practicing on that.

Absolutely love this games but a few minor details I wish they had included... 1.) the should a be a run and slide behind cover option 2.) knife takedowns in campaign ( yes dlc has knives) 3.) should be an option to fold/extend butstock anytime you want, personally i thinks it would be way better having a folded stock while rifle is on my back then when I use it, extend if i want! 4.) I want an extend stock on the m4 rifle and laser equipped the sniper m40a5 5.) tired buy cosmetics with real money and having to find certain items in the crates only... put everything in the store to buy at once and put shit on sale!!! 6,) lastly wish the game wouldn’t restart if you go far out of bounds Bonus wish they would update the guns on the helicopter so they actually work right and wish the AI could drive vehicles

I would like to add, if you send the squad to a location they will automatically mar surrounding enemies... that is very helpful approaching buildings, you send them next to a building and they will mark the enemies inside.

The secondary weapon changes the vest too. For instance, if you have an assault rifle primary and a sniper secondary, the mag pouches will be for the assault rifle, but there will be sniper rounds somewhere, same with the shotgun.

If all squad members holster their weapons while in a car, enemy detection will reduce to practically nothing. In most cases you are able to slowly drive straight through an enemy base without being noticed in any car

That’s the only thing they got off in this game as far as realism goes. Suppressors actually increase velocity. Great game and thanks for the helpful video

Equipping an lmg also gives you a visible ammo box and med kit, but these are only visible on the Molle Harness and the IBA Vests, otherwise it just looks like you're equipped with an assault rifle.

Outside the concert venue mission here is a button that says "do not press me" if you wanna know what it does. Go press it.

The alarm towers have boxes on them, positioned near the top. The even have a object interact glow. Shoot them and based on the tool tips as no alarm, no helicopters will come if you get caught. Best this is no one gets alerts as they do with shooting generators or jammers.

Long range sniping. Took a shot and the guy is in the open and others are about to find a body. Simply scope at a far mountain behind you, the body will despawn. Great for them dont be caught missions. I have quite a few tips and trick I figured, really should make a vid or something.

"hidden tip" there are ammo boxes located around the map. They also have an object interactive glow. You can reload at any of these boxes.

My top 5 tips to improve skill. 1.) When using an assault rifle and engaging opponents at 100+ meters, you do not need to go into first person as long as you burst fire your weapon slowly to mini gate recoil and in game spread. 2.) The Desert Tech HTI BDC seems to have explosive rounds, but they are only active if you have Tier mode on. When not in tier mode, about 45 rounds or less from an M4A1 can down all choppers if you have your destructive skills at max. 3.) When using helicopters with rocket pods, keep in mind that the Little Bird one’s fire a volley of 8 rockets, but they do not lock onto targets like it’s other counterparts. 4.) The fastest you can move while in ADS (Aimed Down Sights) is When you have an opponent grabbed and you’re using him as a body shield, and said guy can take about 40 rounds before being killed. 5.) The fastest killing guns in the game per class are the P12 for Pistols, Saiga 12k for Shotguns, Vector 45 for SMG, Mk249 for LMG, any 338 caliber or above sniper rifle, and M4A1 for Assault Rifles.

The desert tech sniper rifle does not have HE bullets, it "just" has that much basedamage to start with that most any vehicle blows up, added of course with your vhc damage in your skills tree to max out what you can deal. Also it works fine without Tier Mode on, at least for me. As this is a reply to a post made months ago im either sure you already figured this out, and if you haven't well then here you go.

All these years I had the game and never realized the vest changed with the weapon type you select. Great game! I hope the new GR will go back to wildlands type gameplay 👍🏾

Unless your going CQB w/ a sniper rifle w/ the MK14, SRSA-1, & possibly the G28 w/ the red dot scope, it's completely unnecessary for a suppressor. Put on the stock barrel or compensator for increased accuracy, range, control, & damage.

Wish I knew this stuff a year ago.

That bullet velocity thing makes a lot of sense. To maximize the effect of a suppressor it's usual practice to use subsonic rounds. This feature does make the game slightly more realistic, if only they would allow you to choose the rounds you're firing. But still it's fun.

In addition to SAMs & jammers, night vision also hilites ammo boxes, the power boxes on alarms, and gas/med/comm/food caches. Basically anything that gets that sheen on it, the sheen shows to thermal.

If you get the skill that removes the damage reduction from suppressors, does that also remove the slowing down of the round?

Can't you shoot the drone jammer also to disable it?

Justin Gill apparently only the Sam launchers. I tried it, shot a drone jammer with the HT1 hand cannon. Bye-bye Jammer

Does taking out the generator kill the Alarms too?

It does, plus it allows armored gates to be opened. If the alarm has already been raised and then you deactivate it, reinforcements are already on the way!

Yeh it takes out all electrical devices n obviously alarm is electrically operated

Being able to just shoot the generators out from distance is a game changer when it helps disable those damn drone jammers👌🏼💯 Much appreciated, that alone has made my whole game slightly easier👍🏻

Suppressor slowing down bullet, lowering damage and (sometimes) range is just complete gaming bullshit... Don't know why developers still use that in games...

True, it must be to balance the advantages a suppressor would bring to PvP, perhaps they've set it up in preparation for that.

They do that for game balance, to have a trade-off. You'd put a silencer on every gun all the time if it only gave you benefits with no downside. Good games give you hard choices (not that this case is a hard choice).

It's mostly for game balance, but there is a hint of realism in it. A lot of times when suppressors are used, subsonic rounds are used in conjunction to reduce the sound even more. And that actually does decrease bullet velocity

You're correct, suppressors doesn't slow down the rounds, its the ammo that you are using that will determine the speed of the round. If standard issue ammo is being used then it will travel at the same speed regardless if a suppressor is attached or not... but using those rounds you will still hear that distinctive crack of the round traveling down range. However, if you are using sub-sonic ammo then the round will be traveling slower (it wont really be that noticeable though) and you wont hear that crack that a standard issue round would have.

damit even ghost recon is doing it modern suppressors don't slow down bullets! in fact they might even give a bonus to the speed by 1 - 2%

sidewinder32 - yes and no. There are several factors at play, and the quietest setup will always be subsonic AND suppressed - Barrel length being the biggest factor. Even subsonic rounds in a 5" pistol will make a LOT more noise than you expect when fired without a suppressor. Vice versa with supersonics where the distance from suppressor muzzle will dictate total report. Within about 1 Meter, it's minimal.

Can't believe my son and I have been playing this since release and I noticed NONE of these things. The thermal vision we used in caves but to spot drone jammers ? That would've been so much easier when playing on extreme. Great video!!!

Just discovered this game at the end of 2022 and I've had trouble playing anything else and I'm only halfway through RDR2. Just died during my first ghost mode run through and had no idea the thermal vision would point out generators so obviously. Really good trick to know. I usually clear out the handful of guards around it, toss c4 on it, then if I get discovered I can blow the c4 so it goes dark and the AI runs towards the blast. The rebel distraction function is crazy helpful too.

If I shoot the generator, will it disable the reinforcement alarm also? Or is that a separate task?

Another tip I would say is that if you shoot a sniper rifle without a suppressor from 150 meters or more enemies won't hear the shot.

Adding on to the time of day, the time you skip while fast travelling is 2/3 of the kilometres you travel. So if you want to wait 10 hours for nightfall for example, just travel about 8km away, then travel back to the nearest point for a 15km trip (10x3=30, 30/2=15)

Nice. Good tips. I didn't think to use thermal to find the jammer or sams.

If I remember rightly.. The skill, adv suppressor, removes the damage reduction on suppressed guns. Not sure about bullet drop etc.

I love how it says that they will improve your skill but the first one is about how the patches change when you equip different guns.

3:50 All but #1 on this list may be found by using the drone and it's many features. (Time stamp, thermal vision, and EMP option.) I've cleared entire bases just by using the drone. Once it's built up, all of it's upgrades maxed, it's awesome.

I've played the shit out of this game and never knew that our vest changes automatically, depending on primary weapon held. Attention to detail. It's little things like that, is why I really love this game!
