    Always like the way you told me somethings I don't need and I know you've been around race, cars and project cars all your life and I'll learn a lot from it each day. I'm learning every day I go to the shop. I learn things new. You always tease me everything and you like a teacher. I'm so ready to get my car together. Get it running together. I'm ready to make power. I'm ready to have fun. I'm ready to live longer you like a teacher coming to the shop. I always learn more about boosted cars and how to tune cars. How airflow and fuel works? I do like that nasty flames popping out of that car. That's crazy. There's a thousand horsepower Integra that's a fast Integra

    Im about to boost mine with a rear mount to avoid all the heating of parts stuff for real, also other things though lol don't really want a lot of hp, ill be glad with 320 to the wheels, i was using a 100 shot of nitrous but finally got fed up with having to fill the bottles, anyways nice videos i really enjoy them, i live outside of the US so watching your videos help me learn a lot with the panda build so i don't waste money buying the wrong parts, shipping is really expensive to get stuff here.

    Remote mounts can be super fun and I do feel on a remote mount. There’s a little less risk of blowing up the motor because, it tends to soften the torque in the mid range. Yeah

    You mentioned the tuning is "weird" with these engines. What's weird about it? Please go into full technical detail 😀

    Ya I have a customer with that setup I like it allot …..I did a video on it a while back. It would be fun to try to optimize one of those. Like a really efficient intercooler set up and then super good exhaust. Possibly different intake manifold mods as well. The intake manifold on my car. Let me make an extra almost 40 hp over other boosted cars. Very happy with it.

    @@GearheadsAutofab I have the Kinetix, when its sealed up well it does pretty good; running a Delphi MAF, wondering if it needs upgrading? soon to install some Radium rails and plumb kit, will upload a video soon as I get it done

    Thanks for the vid, enjoyed it! Is there a reason you don't run it in speed density so you can ditch the MAF?

    Well….. the only reflash program that works for the older 350 Z’s is uprev and they do not support speed density Tuning like ECUTech does for the 370s. I do actually have a Haltech standalone for my car but it’s currently a street car so it makes more sense to drive it on a stock computer for registration. With that being said, I probably have 10 hours in this tune file , So yes it’s way easier to Tune on speed density with a standalone probably three hours. Lol 😂

    @@GearheadsAutofab Figured it was something like that. Heard anything about HPTuners for the 370? I am going to ask them directly, hopefully they support the SD

    Yes, I actually talked with them quite a bit, every time I tried to use HP tuners on a 3.7 motor. I always have to send the file over to them to get it converted. They don’t have very many of the files ready to go. Nissan made almost every car different. HP tuners does have fantastic logging and they opened up quite a bit of the ECU. However, you may be disappointed in the long run because they have not added very many support features like you know, launch control, etc. if you go onto HP tuners website and browse in the tuner forums, you can see a lot of the issues. Great program, but it will only just do basic training like for an all motor car.. however, ECU tech has looooooots of features

    Some of this info is a little weird. First off youll likely need bigger injectors than oem gtrs on an hr at least. Especially if youre planning on running e out of the 340. Theyre good for NA not boost. And most vq tuners recommend a simple fuel return setup as well. And instead of the MAF modification its seems to be the industry standard to do a 4 bar MAP upgrade.

  • @GearheadsAutofab

    @GearheadsAutofab

    You can’t upgrade to a map on any platform that I’ve seen for 350z de cars. only ecutech on 3.7 motors. But yes I agree about map sensor is better for sure. As for the injectors I’m on 1000cc and I’m using about 55% duty at 400hp(I don’t have a return system) So ya 550cc is good only for 5-7 psi like I said. The only reason i mention them was that they are easier for new tuners to calibrate than a bigger injector and good enough for 5-7 psi and cheap……🤷🏻‍♂️.

    You literally stole my video idea but like not really. I was going to make a video like this while I boost it (next week) after all the research and figuring it out prior to doing it. Props to you bro

    You should definitely still make the video…. I’d watch it. Also, if you have any questions hit me up because I spent two years learning more and more stuff about boosting these cars. They are so much fun with Turbo!!
