When I use crazy hi-hats for trap beats, I put halftime on them and lower the mix to 5-10%. It adds a layer of ear candy that's unmatched. Great Video btw!

I tried your idea love it…. What I found I like doing is putting the half time mix to 100%. Resample into another audio channel. Then removing half time completely from the original channel.. I then took the new half time channel and processed its own effects on it and blend it into he original mix

Other variation is If you want to change the rhythm but not the pitch, you have to change your melody 5 semitones up and there it will sound the same pitch as before, but with the Triplet rhythm
