I wanted to thank you for your heart for more mature women and the respect you bring to the topic in general...it is that attitude that has made me want to watch more of your content. I watched your share from a couple of days ago and it really touched me about the difficulties of KZread...even when you are tough and confident, it is just hard. I think it is a really important topic. I watch another KZreadr who shares content about Japan, who has had her channel for 10 years. She recently needed a thyroid operation and she has been struggling with her weight since then...she did a similar type of video and she admitted she was having a hard time posting videos because people on KZread can be mean and some comments just stick with you. I know me saying this doesn't make it easier...I just wanted to share my respect. God bless!

@@eileenfang6702 Thank you so much for this comment. I'm not going to lie, that video nearly killed me to launch. It was extremely challenging to hit the "live" button and the feedback and love that I have received has been insanely overwhelming and beautiful. Sharing this with me and letting me know that other creators feel the same has meant the absolute world to me. Thank you so much for taking the time to do so.

I started getting a few grays around 40, but I haven't gone much grayer since, and I'm 68. In fact, I get hair growing in that's gray on the ends and brown at the roots, so the amount of gray in my hair varies. I don't know what's going on.
oh thank god!! thank you thank you thank you!!! I am a covid gray person. i used the lock down as an opportunity to go gray. my stylist and mother were quite against my going gray as they said it looked old. i have always had shoulder length hair that is one length (with the exception of fringe) because my hair is too fine to hold layers and i can do so much more with one length hair (braids buns, twits). i have to really embrace the gray and try to walk with confidence but, hearing people like you say that gray is not the nasty taboo it used to be is so incredibly good to hear!! and that blow dryer!!! so cool!!! thank you for your videos!
Went grey in 2018 and it was one of the best beauty decisions I've ever made. I get so many compliments on it now.
Hi Gabi! I’m 53 and I started seeing greys when I was about 45. My daughter is a stylist in the desert and she’s been doing my hair since she was in cosmetology school, she had her license before she graduated high school! It’s been 14 years. No one else has touched my hair. I haven’t been through menopause yet but my hair has always been so thick and completely straight, about 12 years ago when my daughter talked me into letting my hair grow, we were all shocked when my hair started growing in curly!!! I don’t know why or how🤷🏻♀️ maybe because I always wanted my daughters, thick curly hair!!! Thought you might enjoy my story. I’m so glad I found your channel, I’ve really been enjoying your videos🌺🌺🌺
Hi Gabi ~ My hair began changing in my late 30's. I colored it until my mid 50's, then grew out my silver completely. My hair was shiny and cute, but inside, I felt so old. I'm 61 now, and I'm SO glad I jumped back into coloring it my former natural brunette, with highlights.
I started getting grey hair in my mid 50s and my daughter in her early 30s. I let the grey grow out quite a bit but I didn't like it and felt it made me look older. I'm 60 now, so I've gone back to colouring it and I feel much better and think it's more flattering for me.

I had beautiful Greige hair when it first started turning gray. It eventually started turning more white and gunmetal gray which wasn’t flattering. Now I’m coloring again and it’s so beautiful - greige blonde again/ and it gives it a ton more body to my fine hair.
First grey hair at 16!!! I am 55 now and colored my hair most of my life. I transitioned to full natural grey a year ago and LOVE it!
I started going grey in my 20’s (my dad was 13, so I had about 10 years on him at least) Last year I stopped coloring, and went natural. I’m 54, and the front half of my hair is a beautiful platinum, and the back half is still catching up with a silvery tone. Best decision I ever made, I love it! Thank you for the wonderful videos that you do for mature beauty! ☮️💖🙏

Thank you for such a thoughtful and sweet message. I am SO HAPPY for you that you are able to embrace your natural hair! "Beautiful platinum" is the perfect way to describe it. I literally drool over that color and I hope my greys come in icy when they start. My sister has a few (she is 40) and they are like metallic white. *droool* Obsessed.

I start going grey at about 14/15.☹️
I'll be 53 in May and I don't have hardly any grants yet. But, menopause has made my flat straight hair wavy! I ain't mad at it either lol I can air dry so SO great!
I started going grey early 20s. It started with a thin strip of gray right in front. I liked my “stripe” so I didn’t color. As I aged it got thicker and I developed more stripes, but I just decided to just go with it so I’ve never colored. I get lots of compliments on my hair because of the color and the health and volume. I’m a big proponent of embracing it and I think natural hair looks healthier and shinier.
Thank you Gabi!!! I'm taking the plunge...going grey!! This video is right on time. You are a beautiful person inside and out. Your positivity and love for what you do really shines. Thank you for everything you do for us. 💕

You will love it. I colored my hair for decades and then one day it was like a light switch being flipped and I decided I was completely done with coloring it. I did a radical method for the transition. I let it grow out until the roots were about one inch and then had it cut short to that length all over. It's not for everyone but I loved the fast transition and have always loved short hair. It was amazing and I love my grey hair which is now to my shoulders.

Great videos. Would you be able to do a video on curly grey hair. All the models you feature have straight hair. Thank you!
Gabi, your videos are amazing! We can tell the hard work you put into each of your videos! Thank you!
Hi Gabi, I’m 62 and for 40 years I colored my mousy brown hair red/auburn and then blonde for a good 25 years. I like it platinum the best. It brought out my blue eyes and looked good on my cool complexion, but was very damaging to maintain. Not to mention the cost of salon treatments. During Covid and lack of salon visits I realized my roots were coming out very light. I grew it out and my hair is now silver. I get compliments on it regularly. I think the most important thing is to make sure your cut is youthful. My hair is in the best condition of my life. My husband of 53 years love it, and says it looks like Christmas tinsel. Very shiny and healthy. The only thing that I struggled with the first 6 months was dryness. Using the purple shampoo weekly was too drying. I put a filter on my shower head and I use the purple shampoo maybe every 2 weeks. I really dont see much yellowing. Very important is if a product comes out of the bottle with a color other than clear, you probably shouldn’t use it. It will leave color deposits. Oils and leave in conditioner are life savers for my hair, and I am able to air dry. That’s how good of condition it is in.
I love your videos! You’re a joy to watch, and your tips for styling/caring for fine and aging hair are really helpful. Thank you!😘

Great tips! I LOVE that you love natural colour hair. I am slowly growing mine out now.
Thank you so much love watching your tutorials I have learnt a lot in my mature age 😍
I am 32, and already have a lot of grey hair, i don't know why, my parents didn't have grey hair so early. I think the reason is stress, i had to leave my home because of the war year ago, and now I've decided not to color my hair, I am so tired of it.. i have nice cold fair color, and I hope it will be in a harmony with my silver hair. By the way, i am having three little girls, and I don't look old at all, the color of the hair is not so important 😊 Thank you Gabi, i like your videos❤ Greetings from Germany!
I ate predominantly for most of my adult life. At age 49 I started eating a fair amount of red meat, and my hair is SO healthy. I can’t get over it. Grows long easily with little breakage. I have not had hair like this since I was a kud

I’ve started to watch your channel because you’re extremely honest and plain ol’ sweet! As a mother of a daughter about your age, I think you’re a true darling and enjoy watching you and learning. Thank you ❤😊
Thank you so much for the AWESOME tips!!!❤ 😊
Love that you encouraged us to grow out our natural color regardless if it's going gray!! I agree with you; it's beautiful!!!!
Love this video. I started going gray in my late 20's but it's not fully gray. I call them my wisdom highlights and try to embrace a little wisdom amongst my blond highlight. I love hair oiling but I find even if I tie a bun on the top of my hair, I often get a bit of acne on my scalp and hairline or sometimes on my face as well!
Great tips, thank you!❤
Hi Gabi, I started going gray a little around 40 now at 50 my stylist says I’m about 10-15% gray. I was doing bayliage for a bit but now I’m just doing my roots. Hope your feeling better!💕😊
Thank you for sharing. Really informative, thanks. 🇬🇧👍🏻💛🤍

I loved this video, and so appreciate that you help us mature gals! I'm 55, and my hair still has very little gray. I was wondering if you have a tutorial of the makeover you did on the beautiful woman with the short gray hair that you featured in this video? She is just stunning and I loved how you styled her hair!

That was a great video..🎉 I'm 61 and just started going grey.. not ready for that yet.. so a new haircut helped alot! And shorter length. Will try your ideas..❤
so helpful
I & even my young son love white & silver hair. My fam gets few strands of silver around 55 & by 80… it’s mostly around the perimeter. Great videos :)
Thank you!!!
My hair started getting grey when I was 18. Just rolling with it. ❤
My hair has been very slowly losing color since I was 40. I'm 52 now and just have some stark white hairs growing from my scalp. It is resistant to color too. I'm looking forward to the day it fully turns so I can stop coloring it. This is a helpful video Gabi. Thank you.
Thank you for this share , I am all natural now platinum . I started going gray in my late forties . I haven’t touched my hair in years and it feels like it did when I 12 ! It truly is liberating to boot ! ❤
I had a few silver strands in my 30's though still dyed it, by 51 I was letting it grow out (I'm 61 now) as I was fed up with dyeing it every 3 weeks. It's really beautiful though and I often get compliments from women who say that if they knew their hair was going to be like mine they'd grow it out.. but my reply to that is, you never know what it will be like until you do take a chance and grow it out 💖 It's a huge deal though, I know, and a personal choice. I believe in empowered choices whether we dye or don't.
New to your channel. Love the content. I was 70 in November.. so far, i only get my roots done 3x a year, with some highlights. I also grew it out and people never guess me to be 70 years old I always get 60 to 63? I don’t know why but they seem to pick that at the most for my age which I am happy about that my hair does have a lot of waves in it now and little ringlet curls around my neck line and I always had poker straight hair. Normally I let my hair air dry next time in a hurry I will blow it dry. I also, as I said earlier, I don’t do very much with product on my hair such as hair color. I’m using oil now though for the dryness like you said and here masks. I appreciate the tips.
Love your enthusiasm. You are so beautiful.
Thank you for your wonderful videos❤️They are really empowering! I'm from Sweden and I have maybe 5 grey hairs att the age of 61! I'm still a brunett, but was blond in my youth. I think it's heritage from my grandmother, she had almost no greys att the age of 79 and the colour was natural black!!!
I would love to see more options for a haircut / style for those of us with more weight under our chins….I enjoyed the last video but would love to see more like it! Thanks!
Thank you 🙏
Great tips! I get compliments on my grey hair all the time and take good care of it. I would never go back to coloring!! My pic is a 10 year old one 😆.
I started having my first grays at 43, I am 46 right now I don’t have many grays yet. I love your earrings 😍😍😍.
Great tips Gabi.. I kept getting root touch ups to my very dark brown/ black hair, till I got tired of doing the touch ups. I saw some gray hair in my late 40’s I have a thyroid issue and I hit menopause at the age of 45. So my hair just completely changed. So I gradually started to lightned my hair to blonde with some mix gray so it's easier for the hair color to blend, and I love it. So all I do is tone it or sometimes I would do a purple mask.I started to do the hair oil treatments and it's helped a lot to my fine wavy hair. ❤
I am 58 and my hair is light blonde and I have few platinum\white hairs but it just looks like it is highlighted here and there. The white hairs are smooth, soft and not like gray hair. I stopped drying my hair with a blow dryer and stopped using all hairprodcts. it looks so much better. My hair is fine and wavy.
I appreciate your point of view regarding allowing one to go gray naturally. At 65 I am beginning to go gray and truthfully, I think I have earned a few wisdom highlights. Thank you so much for creating these videos!
I started getting some gray on my late forties but of course I was dying it. I started thinking on my fifties to go natural but didn’t think I had enough gray to do it. I finally went for it 3 years ago and never looked back. You have no clue on how much gray you have and how is it going to look until you are grown at least half way and it evens looks different when you are done with the transition. I love the different patterns and no one is the same. I have most at the top of my head and the back and less on the sides but I love it.that is what makes us unique. I started the transition at 63.
I’m 52 and starting to see some grays appear for first time. You have gorgeous hair!
Thanks for your video! I am almost 75 and have my normal hair color except for a gray stripe.
Velcro rollers make pull my hair out😳 but the other things I will try- thanks for sharing this
Thank you, Gabi. I am 66 and started to get some grey when I was about 47. I probably still only have about 30% grey, mainly on top. I use a product called IT's Pure which only contain herbal powders and doesn't open the hair shaft to help to blend them in so they look like highlights. My problem is that I have a very warm skintone and my natural hair colour is dark brown with some red in it. I have brown eyes. I'm not sure that grey hair would suit me although I love it on other ladies. As and when I get more grey would I be better using s mix of brown and blonde powder? The herbal powder doesn't damage the hair and leaves it looking conditioned. Thanks again x
I think I started going gray at around 48. I colored it a few months back and regret that. I like my gray/ash tone. Now I’m trying to wait for it to grow back. Ugh. I want to try the purple shampoo. I don’t think my hair yellows but I’m interested to see the effect! Maybe it does and I don’t realize it! 😂 I am very interested in this blowdryer! I can’t wait to check it out. 😮 Thanks for sharing these fantastic tips, Gabi!! ❤
Hi Gabi! You are awesome and I love your videos. I am 54 and working with the aging hair issues you mention in this video. Fine, dry and my hair dresser (that I love, a dear friend) called my hair “fragile” recently. I was wondering if you still recommend the Tymo hairdryer? I purchased it and have been using it a few months. Do you think the Zuvi is way better for these aging hair issues? Thanks!
I had two grey hairs in my bangs from age 36 to about 46. Then Covid - and I swear I've gone at least 25% grey since then :P
Your looking fabulous, think you for the tips. I do have thinning hair and just got a new haircut you recommend and it help with my hair looking thicker. I’m learning to pump up the volume.

Hey Janna! That is so exciting about the new cut! What kind of haircut did you get?
Great information.... Could you give information on model perms on 50 + women hair. Thankyou
I’m 65, I started going grey in my 40’s I started to dye my hair but hated it. I eventually allowed my silver/ grey hair 5 years ago and I love it. Everyone else loves it too. My hair is very fine but I have a good amount of it. I can’t air dry my hair either but I do use a protective balm before blow drying. .
Your models look gorgeous. I did cut off 18". I have been long, pixie short, and all lengths in between!. I wound up with pale brown, level 7-8, shiny, but "mousey" color. At 60,,I have approx 30% grey. Now I am using distilled H2O to combat the hard water. I am going even shorter when my HD gets back from vacay-to almost NO HAIR:) THEN, when I get tired of THAT, I will grow it out, for my DEATH hair:) I am already doing Swedish Death cleaning. I feel so FREE! TY for this upload!
I was a redhead and my hair started to change in my 40’s but it doesn’t look gray, it looks blonde and I’m 66 now. First I got a big yellow streak in the front of my forehead. Underneath it is more ashy looking. Love the videos!
I agree about natural or silver hair not making one look older. I have transitioned twice to my natural gray in the past 10 years. First time I felt was too soon, so went back to coloring. I walked out of the salon a brunette again - for all of 4 days when my silver was showing again. I cried. Waiting 6 month and then went through the process again, this time using silver/titanium toners of lots of highlights. Took a long time, but I’ve not looked back past 3 years. Will never color again. Tried lowlights at one point as well, but that also because a slippery slope with depositing color again. My skin tone has changed now that I am 61, and my natural hair suits it much better. I just try to keep it stylish and healthy and not frumpy. Still need products!
Love, love, love my silver hair! Xoxo
My hair started going grey when I was 30...Fast forward I started getting highlights for yrs. Then at 63my hair is now color free my hair is 90 % white/gray.I get many compliments on my hair ...Ty for the great video....
Thank you for another lovely video! Has anyone else here tried the Zuvi... I'd love to know how others are liking it. Much love❤
Thank you for the encouragement for women to embrace their gray hair. I am 57 and am grew mine out. Though less than 50% gray it is totally liberating. Would you recommend purple shampoo for someone who is not totally gray yet?
Love you and your channel Gabi! Love your honesty and professional advise. You've been a game changer for me. I'm 54 and have been struggling with the grey-change. Greying started when I was 25, ugh! Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful message. The grey fight is such a losing battle. You dye it, it looks good for two weeks and then it starts again and again and again. My grandmother was not comfortable going grey until she was in her 80s so if you want to dye it, DYE IT! But if you are just sick of it, don't feel like you HAVE to dye it to look and feel beautiful. Healthy, shiny hair always wins.

I'm 66 yrs. old. I think gray hair is beautiful, but I barely have any! I wanted to go all gray but most of my hair is not. I tried growing it out and after 4 months I realized it wasn't going to happen. So, I use a semi-permanent pretty brown color to increase volume and shine. I've never tried oiling my hair, but in recent years, I've noticed that it is dryer. I may try it! Thank you!
